Panama City Father's Day Bash: Kickball, contests, cookout
PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WMBB) – The City of Panama City is honoring all the fantastic dads in the community on Saturday, June 14, at its Father's Day Bash, 'Kickin' it with Dad.' The family-friendly event is free and will give a fun-filled afternoon with kickball, basketball shooting contests and a classic cookout. 'Oftentimes, is a lot going on in the world, so just to bring everybody together and have things that people can do to just forget about the stresses of the world, we like to do that for our communities,' Recreation Program Coordinator Tatyanna Bell said. Among this cycle's recipients are national organizations that include Ronald McDonald House-Charities of Kentuckiana, where a $2,500 grant from the Foundation will provide 18 nights of lodging and comfort, directly supporting the well-being of families whose children are receiving vital medical care.
