SC2 Rhyl outdoor 'Splash Pad' reopens to the public
The outdoor splash area, designed for younger children, toddlers and infants, re-opened to the public on July 12 after 17 months of closure.
SC2 water park closed in December 2023 following storm damage to its roof.
The main water park area opened to the public on July 5.
With no grand re-launch, the reopening was without fanfare - just a quiet return to business.
Jamie Groves, Managing Director at Denbighshire Leisure Ltd (DLL), said: 'It has been fantastic to see so many people enjoying the outdoor Splash Pad.
"We have had a really tough 18 months with the waterpark being closed and we cannot thank our local community enough for their support during this difficult time.

"As promised, SC2 is back bigger and better than before, so we can't wait to see the Splash Pad full of happy faces and families making memories once more."
Hundreds of free tickets for 'taster sessions' were given away to residents by DLL to mark the reopening.
The Splash Pad will be open weekends and over the holidays until the end of the summer.
Free sessions will be available after 5pm. Sessions can be booked online at
