Shriram Ilakkiya Kazhagam to conduct Thirukkural elocution, drawing and essay contests from July 12 to August 24
Shriram Ilakkiya Kazhagam, the literary wing of Shriram group, will be organising the annual State-level Thirukkural elocution, drawing and essay contests from July 12 to August 24 for school and college students across 12 centres covering Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
The competition will be held at Suburban School in Coimbatore on August 23, and at Sengunthar Higher Secondary School in Erode on August 24. Those interested can collect the application forms from the nearest Shriram Chits branches or download from
The contestants will be divided into 3 groups – Juniors (Classes: 6-8), Seniors (Classes: 9-12) and College (UG, PG, Engineering, Medical and Polytechnic students).
