Sheikha Asma Al Thani summits Gasherbrum I, her tenth 8,000er peak
Sheikha Asma Al Thani announced the success of her latest summit, Gasherbrum I, located between Pakistan and China. Also known as Hidden Peak, Gasherbrum I stands at 8,080 meters above sea level and is the 11th-highest mountain in the world, making this her tenth summit over 8,000 meters.

Another summit, another moment I'll never forget.
Standing here with the Qatar flag in my hand, I'm reminded why I started this journey. To test my limits. To represent something bigger than myself. And to show that dreams can take us far, if we're willing to go beyond boundaries.
Thank you to the Qatar Olympic Committee, Ooredoo Qatar, and the Ministry of Sports and Youth for believing in this dream and helping bring it to life.
