The video shows the moment of the attack, which caused dozens of cars to fly into the air, causing a huge explosion that shook the entire area. Avichay Adraee: Special operation in southern Syria targets Iran-linked cell, weapons seized
Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee claimed on X that forces from the 474th Brigade of the 210th Division carried out a special overnight operation to capture a cell "activated by Iran" in the areas of Umm al-Luqas and Ain al-Basali in southern Syria. The operation was conducted in coordination with field investigators from Unit 504. ''Based on intelligence gathered in recent weeks through investigations, the brigade conducted a focused nighttime raid that resulted in the arrest of several operatives,'' he stated. According to Adraee, the forces discovered weapons and hand grenades in the area where the cell was apprehended.
