Yemen's Houthis target Ben Gurion with Palestine-2 missile
Shafaq News/ Yemen's Houthis (Ansarallah) claimed responsibility on Tuesday for launching a 'double military operation' targeting Israel, including a hypersonic ballistic missile strike on Ben Gurion International Airport. In an official statement, Ansarallah said they fired a 'Palestine-2' hypersonic missile at the airport and a separate 'Zolfiqar' ballistic missile at a strategic Israeli facility east of Yafa. — العميد يحيى سريع (@army21yemen) May 27, 2025 Earlier in the day, the Israeli military confirmed that it had intercepted a ballistic missile launched from Yemen—the second such interception in less than 24 hours. Both projectiles were downed without triggering air raid sirens, and no casualties or damage were reported. — افيخاي ادرعي (@AvichayAdraee) May 27, 2025 The Houthis had previously claimed responsibility for multiple attacks targeting Israeli territory, including two strikes on Ben Gurion earlier this week, which led to temporary flight disruptions, according to Israeli media. Israeli Haaretz criticized the government's approach. 'No country has succeeded in subduing the Yemenis—why should Israel be any different?' the newspaper wrote, warning that targeted assassinations and airstrikes would likely fail to deter a group deeply rooted in ideological belief.

Yemeni Missile Strikes Occupied Haifa
In support for the oppressed Palestinian people and their mujahideen, and in rejection of the crime of genocide being committed by the Israeli enemy, backed by the US administration, against Gaza, the missile force of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a qualitative military operation striking a vital Zionist enemy target in the occupied area of Haifa with the use of a hypersonic ballistic missile, the military spokesman said. The missile reached its target and interception systems failed to intercept it, causing fear and panic among Zionist settlers, with more than two million Zionists heading to shelters, General Yahya Sarea said. The UAV force of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a military operation targeting a vital target in the occupied Yaffa region using a Yaffa drone, he added. — العميد يحيى سريع (@army21yemen) April 23, 2025 'The people of faith and wisdom are waging this battle seeking help from Allah Almighty, implementing Allah's orders and directives, and relying on and trusting in Allah. They will not retreat or abandon their religious, moral, and humanitarian duties. They will continue, with Allah's help, their jihad in support of the oppressed Palestinian people until the aggression against Gaza stops and the siege is lifted.'
