Jordan welcomes historic Azerbaijan-Armenia peace agreement
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Jordan has officially welcomed the recent peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia, brokered by US President Donald Trump.

In a statement, the ministry's spokesperson, Ambassador Dr. Sufyan Al-Qudah, expressed the Kingdom's strong support for the landmark accord, describing it as a significant step toward enhancing security and peace in the South Caucasus region.
He also commended the efforts of the US administration in facilitating the negotiations and achieving the agreement, highlighting its role in strengthening stability in a region long affected by conflict.
On Friday, US President Donald Trump welcomed the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan to the White House, celebrating a historic agreement aimed at ending decades of conflict between the two South Caucasus nations.
'Armenia and Azerbaijan are committing to stop all fighting forever, open up commerce, travel and diplomatic relations and respect each other's sovereignty and territorial integrity,' Trump declared during the summit.
