CFMoto 750SR-S breaks cover, comes as brand's first-ever inline-four motorcycle

CFMoto has taken the wraps off its first-ever inline-four motorcycle, the 750SR-S. The all-new middleweight sportbike marks a major step for the two-wheeler brand as CFMoto is moving beyond its strategy of manufacturing motorcycles with usual parallel-twin engines. The CFMoto 750SR-S comes as a sharp and aggressive-looking sportsbike. It sports clean bodywork and quad underseat exhaust outlets that give the motorcycle a track-influenced vibe. Some key design elements include the sharp LED headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights, a tall windshield, a chunky fuel tank, adding a masculine vibe to the bike, etc. The motorcycle comes with an optional rear-wheel cover, which is claimed to offer improved aerodynamics. The CFMoto 750SR-S sportsbike comes equipped with KYB suspension, Brembo brakes, and a six-axis IMU that enables cornering ABS and traction control. Remember the Apollo Intensa Emozione? You could buy this one for £2.6m

Remember the Apollo Intensa Emozione? You could buy this one for £2.6m From the artist formerly known as Gumpert. Bonkers V12 carbon hypercar is about to go up for auction Skip 19 photos in the image carousel and continue reading Turn on Javascript to see all the available pictures. 1 / 19 This 2022 Apollo Intensa Emozione will cross the block at Bonhams' Quail Auction on 15 August, and despite needing a new interior and 'mechanical recommissioning', it is expected to fetch somewhere between £1.9m and £2.6m. Good grief. Of course, the winning bidder will be getting quite a lot of car for their money. A whole lot of carbon too, because the IE gets a carbon tub underneath its ludicrously angry slashed carbon bodywork. Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, too. This particular car is apparently known as 'Ocean Dragon' thanks to its colour-shifting blue/green exposed carbon finish. Won't be to everyone's taste, but at least this car looked better than the Gumpert Apollo that came before it. Advertisement - Page continues below First shown to the world back in 2017, the IE came with a 6.3-litre naturally aspirated V12 built by Autotecnica Motori and a six-speed sequential gearbox from Hewland. With 780bhp on tap and a dry weight of 1,250kg, it's perhaps no surprise that its 0-62mph time was quoted as 2.7 seconds with a top speed of 217mph. And yes, we'd think it was vapourware too if we weren't staring directly at one of the 10 cars that Apollo did actually build. Worth remembering that final assembly was done by our old friends at HWA, of course. Bonhams tells us the Ocean Dragon has just 340 miles on the clock from new, but its current owner only bought it a year ago and for some reason removed the interior and part of the fuel system. It's now described as 'an opportunity for the new owner to have an interior ordered to suit his or her tastes and preferences', although there are a load of parts included with the sale. So, reckon an Intense Emotion is now worth upwards of £2m? Advertisement - Page continues below Top Gear Newsletter Thank you for subscribing to our newsletter. The Dodge Durango Hellcat Escapes Death Row with a New Jailbreak Edition for 2026

When we were first introduced to the Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat, the supercharged SUV was only intended to be a one-year exclusive for model year 2021. Much to the chagrin of those early buyers, Dodge still isn't quite ready to let go of that glorious supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 powertrain. Like the defunct Charger and Challenger models before it, the hellacious Durango is busting out of the traditional spec sheet by way of the all-new 2026 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Jailbreak. For those who are unfamiliar, the Dodge Jailbreak program dramatically expands the customization options on offer. The automaker generally waits towards the end of a vehicle's production run to initiate this program, as it requires a skilled and experienced crew on the assembly line to cope with the added complexity. (Considering they've been building this generation of Durango since December 2010, the assembly plant should be more than ready for the extra work.) According to the automaker, customers will have the opportunity to create more than six million different unique builds with the selections on offer. These include highlights like six different wheel options, six exterior hues to choose from (including the handsome Green Machine), five exterior stripe packages, five interior seat colors, three seat configurations, and six hues for exterior badging. There are even four different seat belt colors to choose from, as well as four different finishes for the Brembo brake calipers. For those that need a bit more flexibility, Dodge is also reviving its special paint program from the Challenger Demon models. This will allow for some unique builds beyond the standard order sheet. There's also a suite of individual options that customers can add to the package, including an Alcantara steering wheel, SRT exhaust tips finished in black, a suede headliner, the trailer tow package, and a power sunroof. 'The Dodge Durango is a family-friendly, three-row muscle SUV with the unique ability to seat up to seven and best-in-class towing at every trim level, and that combination continues to resonate, with Durango sales jumping 51% in Q2 over Q1 of this year,' said Matt McAlear, Dodge CEO. 'The Durango SRT Hellcat Jailbreak gives customers the opportunity to make their muscle SUV unique, unlocking color combination ordering restrictions, from exterior colors, to stripes, badges, wheels and brake calipers, to a wide variety of interior options. We can't wait to see what our buyers dream up on the road.' Dodge has yet to release pricing information for the Durango SRT Hellcat Jailbreak, but order books are slated to open on August 13. The automaker says that deliveries of the 710-hp SUVs are slated to begin during the fourth quarter of this year. MG Cyberster brings eElectric drama to the road

The MG Cyberster is more than just a car — it's a statement. Not just from MG as a brand, but from the world of electric mobility at large. In a market where most EVs lean towards practicality and discretion, the Cyberster is a roadster that embraces flair, performance, and sheer presence. With its scissor doors, convertible roof, and futuristic cabin, it's unlike anything else on Indian roads right now—and perhaps that's precisely the point. At first glance, it's hard not to be drawn in by the drama of the design. Long, sculpted lines evoke the spirit of classic roadsters, while the modern surfacing and distinctive lighting bring it firmly into the future. The electrically operated roof folds away in just 10 seconds i—even on the move, up to 50 km/h—offering an instant connection to the world outside. And then there are those electric scissor doors: a first in the segment, and a guaranteed conversation starter wherever you park. But once the theatrics settle, what emerges is a seriously capable electric performance machine. The Cyberster's dual-motor AWD layout delivers 510 PS and 725 Nm of torque, launching it from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds. For the Indian market, top speed is restricted to around 210 km/h—still more than enough to keep your pulse racing. Engage Super Sport mode and activate Launch Control, and the acceleration pins you back in your seat with shocking immediacy. It's the kind of visceral surge typically reserved for high-end performance cars, and while the Cyberster isn't aiming to dethrone any supercar royalty, it's certainly playing in exciting territory. What adds to the illusion is a cleverly executed touch: MG has equipped the Cyberster with a synthesised engine note played through the car's Bose sound system. The audio is , precisely tuned and synced with throttle input, mimicking the rising tone of a large combustion engine. It's subtle, not gimmicky , and while it won't fool your ears completely, it does manage to enhance the experience—especially with the roof down. It's more than a gimmick; it adds emotional depth to the otherwise silent acceleration of an EV. Handling is one of the Cyberster's standout traits. Despite weighing in at nearly two tonnes, the car feels agile thanks to its 50:50 weight distribution, rear-biased AWD system, and chassis tuning by former Ferrari F1 engineer Marco Fainello. The steering offers decent feedback, and while it's not razor-sharp, it's predictable and precise—perfect for flowing through corners on a scenic hill road. The ride quality is another pleasant surprise. For a low-slung electric sports car, it's remarkably compliant—firm enough to stay flat during quick transitions, yet never harsh or jarring. Brembo brakes with four-piston callipers at all four corners, along with 20-inch staggered Pirelli P Zeros, ensure confident stopping power and grip. Inside, the Cyberster embraces its futuristic ambitions. The cabin is anchored by a digital cockpit that combines three wraparound displays—a 10.25-inch central cluster flanked by twin 7-inch touchscreens. A fourth 7-inch console screen sits below, controlling HVAC, drive modes, roof operation, and more. These high-resolution screens aren't just flashy additions —they create a clean, purposeful driving environment that feels like it belongs in the next decade. These are the touches that truly put the Cyber in Cyberster. Material quality in the Cyberster is thoroughly premium. The seats are upholstered in sustainably sourced Dynamica suede and leather, both heated and power-adjustable. The flat-bottomed steering wheel is leather-wrapped and heated as well. A premium 8-speaker, 320-watt Bose audio system with AudioPilot technology keeps the tunes crisp, while the ambient lighting system lets you set the mood with 256 colour options. It's a tight cabin, but it doesn't feel cramped. And with the roof down, there's a sense of freedom that no screen can replicate. On the tech and safety front, the Cyberster arrives well-stocked. It features Level 2 ADAS features, including adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, collision avoidance, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and even a driver drowsiness detection system. Four airbags, a robust structure tested in over 50 scenarios, and electronic aids like a real-time stability monitor all contribute to a very reassuring package. The Cyberster integrates MG's comprehensive i-Smart suite, offering more than 40 connected features designed to enhance convenience and control. From remote lock/unlock and climate control to live tracking and geofencing, it's all available through the mobile app or via voice commands inside the car. Charging is quick and easy too: the 77 kWh battery supports 144 kW DC fast charging, going from 10% to 80% in just 40 minutes. MG claims a MIDC-certified range of 580 km, which should translate to around 400–500 km in real-world conditions depending on usage and how often you use the Super Sport mode! But numbers tell only half the story. What truly defines the Cyberster is how it makes you feel. It's about the joy of driving, the thrill of open-top motoring, and the excitement of being seen in something that's unlike anything else on sale today. At ₹75 lakh (ex-showroom), the MG Cyberster is priced to undercut anything remotely similar in performance and presence. There are no direct rivals in the Indian market—certainly not with this combination of design, power, and technology. You could spend more and get less theatre. Or you could choose the Cyberster and embrace the future with your roof down and your heart racing. Motorscribes, in association with The Hindu, brings you the latest in cars and bikes.
