Oasis Live '25 setlist 'leaked' and fans are divided over missing iconic song

Oasis are set to make their long-awaited return to the stage this Friday at the Principality Arena in Cardiff, marking their first live performance in over a decade. Adding to the excitement, a leaked setlist has surfaced online offering fans an early glimpse on what they can expect for this highly anticipated reunion tour. Liam and Noel Gallagher have arrived in Cardiff to kick off their world tour, which will see them perform 19 shows across the UK this summer - including stops in Cardiff, Edinburgh, London, and Manchester - before continuing to various destinations around the globe. Since the brothers arrived in Cardiff, they have been putting together the finishing touches and fans have said they have heard the setlist in full. One fan took to X, formally known as Twitter, to share the songs they overheard outside the stadium. Posing a video of the Gallagher brothers rehearsing, the message read: "SPOILER ALERT. SETLIST SO FAR PER REHEARSAL LEAKS..." The post continued to list: Rock n Roll Star Bring it on Down Hello, Fade Away Whatever The Masterplan Slide Away Cast No Shadow Some Might Say Don't Look Back in Anger Live Forever Roll With It Cigs and Alcohol Champagne Supernova However not everyone in the replies were happy with the setlist, as one fan stated: "Men no Lyla? No acquiesce? Everything is from the first two albums WTF." With another showing their disappointment, as they wrote: "Massively disappointing if that's the set. They have so many great tunes outside of Definitely Maybe & (What's the Story) Morning Glory." A third Oasis fan was horrified to see the setlist missing a certain song, stating: "Absolutely no f***ng way are they not playing SUPERSONIC!?" Despite the speculation of the setlist, the band are yet to confirm what exactly they will play in the 2 hour and 15 minute set. This comes following the reveal of the stage times for the bands UK shows, with tours set to open at 5pm before the first support act Cast takes the stage at 6pm, then Richard Ashcroft will perform at 7pm. Noel and Liam will take the stage at 8:15pm and perform their hit songs for just over two hours. On Saturday (June 28) Liam tweeted that the band would be taking the stage at 8:15pm in Cardiff this Friday, as he humorously wrote: 'Don't be late or we'll start without you and you don't want that now do ya." Following their Cardiff show, Oasis will continue their UK and Ireland tour with seven dates at London's Wembley Stadium, five at Manchester's Heaton Park and two at Edinburgh's Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium. The band will then take their tour further afield, playing shows in Canada, the US, Mexico, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Argentina, Chile and Brazil. The full tour includes 41 dates and concludes on November 23 in São Paulo. Liam and Noel have also urged fans to book their places now for the 'Live 25' merchandise pop up stores at the UK tour date locations in order to avoid queues.

Pic: Giuseppe Aresu/REX/Shutterstock Wales Online reporter Conor Gogarty captured a video from Fitzhamond Embankment opposite the venue, in which you can hear the duo blasting out their cult classic tracks. 'Oasis soundcheck in Cardiff just now. @liamgallagher sounding biblical,' he quipped. Unsurprisingly, Liam chimed in, writing: 'Mmm I'm not sure about the vocals there too aggressive he really needs to take a chill pill man he's just so angry all the time,' he wrote. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Oasis (@oasis) Richard, on the other hand, is said to be a good friend of both Noel and Liam. The 53-year-old was the lead singer of The Verve from 1989 until their split in 2009. Following news of Oasis' reunion, speculation was that both Cast and Richard would be supporting, with the band confirming on Monday. Cast will kick off the show, taking to the stage for 6pm and will be followed by Richard Ashcroft at 7pm. Oasis are set to take to the stage at 8.15pm with the band confirming that curfew is 10.30pm — meaning they are due to play more than two hours of their greatest hits in their first show back. It comes as the band collaborated with beloved Dublin soccer club, Bohemians FC for their latest jersey. The fan-owned club have revealed the new design will be worn during the upcoming FAI Cup campaign to pay 'homage to the one of the greatest bands of all time, and two of Ireland's most famous sons.' The highly coveted jersey features the Oasis logo in the traditional blue tones of Dublin City, with a 90s styling and sublimated chevron patterns, as well as a white and blue collar and sleeve trims.

Oasis setlist: Mostly likely songs to appear as mammoth two hour show confirmed

Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info After months of hype, Oasis will finally make their triumphant return to the stage for the first time in 16 years this week. The reunited Britpop legends kick off their Oasis Live '25 tour at Cardiff's Principality Stadium this weekend and will headline two nights at Croke Park on August 16 and 17. Support will come from Cast and Richard Ashcroft with the official Oasis website confirming stage times for each act this afternoon. Cast will be the first act up at 6pm, followed by former Verve frontman Ashcroft at 7pm. Oasis are then scheduled to be on stage at 8:15pm with curfew of 10:30pm. This points to the headliners - who will feature former guitarists Bonehead, Gem Archer, Andy Bell and new drummer Joey Waronker alongside Liam and Noel Gallagher - playing for over two hours. Fans have been furiously speculating as to what songs will be given an airing at the reunion shows and with the help of listings on SetlistFM we've stuck a bucket hat on our crystal ball to see if we can predict what tunes are likely to be played. Definitely Cigarettes & Alcohol has been heard blasting from the Principality Stadium today and will surely be a part of the set. In fact, before the band's spilt in 2009 it was their most played song, having been heard at 645 shows. The next most frequently played tune is Don't Look Back in Anger which, given it's one of the band's most popular numbers, is also sure to make the cut. Fan favourite Live Forever was played 571 times prior to the break up and there would be uproar if it wasn't played at the comeback gigs. The rest of the top 10 is rounded out be a slew of classics; Wonderwall, Supersonic, Champagne Supernova, Morning Glory, Acquiesce, Rock 'n' Roll Star and I Am The Walrus. It would be a safe bet to say most of these will get an airing, even if Liam has previously poured cold water on one of them making the cut. Maybe Lyla became a latter day live favourite having been played 236 times while Slide Away was the 11th most popular with 277 appearances. Surprisingly, The Masterplan is only at number 23 on the list having been played at 182 shows although with it being such a classic, it may well be included. Also included from 11 to 20 on the list are Roll With It, Shakermaker, The Importance of Being Idle, Bring It On Down, Songbird, The Meaning of Soul and Columbia. While there is plenty of room in the career-spanning set, it is likely Oasis will be drawing more heavily from their earlier albums so Don't Believe The Truth's The Meaning of Soul and Heathen Chemistry's Songbird may miss out. Some Might Say these are unlikely Oasis played over 100 songs live in the course of their career and somewhat surprisingly fan favourite B-side Round Are Way was only ever played 24 times while D'Yer Wanna Be a Spaceman featured even less having been played 18 times. Other fan favourites that were rarely played include Talk Tonight (44 times), Cast No Shadow (53 times), Don't Go Away (59 times) and She's Electric (52 times). Going by previous setlists, these songs may not get an airing but there's always room for surprises so none can be totally ruled out.
