Yellowstone favourite takes on totally different role in 'best film of the year' out soon
A Yellowstone actor is set to show a very different side to himself in a new film that's been called one of the best of 2025 Yellowstone star Luke Grimes is a million miles from his beloved character Kayce Dutton in a critically acclaimed new film arriving in cinemas this week. Having already launched in the United States last month, Ari Aster's Eddington is finally making its way to UK screens this Friday, 22nd August. The black comedy thriller unfolds during the early stages of the Covid-19 pandemic in a small New Mexico town, delving into the bitter rivalry between Sheriff Joe Cross (portrayed by Joaquin Phoenix) and Mayor Ted Garcia (Pedro Pascal) as they clash in a heated mayoral race. Their political warfare sparks chaos throughout their community, compelling officers like Grimes' character Guy Tooley to intervene. Whilst the Yellowstone actor has previously tackled law enforcement roles in the Paramount Network's hugely successful contemporary Western drama, Grimes adopts a far more lighthearted approach for this latest offering from celebrated Midsommar filmmaker Ari Aster, reports the Mirror. Esquire branded Grimes' portrayal as the complete "opposite" of what audiences have grown accustomed to from him during their chat with the screen star. "He's a guy who clearly is just afraid and trying to point the finger anywhere," the performer explained regarding his role. "It didn't read that way in the script, originally, but we worked on it, and he became more of a bumbling fool than a hateful person. "That was our way into it - just a guy trying to figure it all out and failing miserably." Whilst the film has sparked a mixed reaction thus far, numerous cinema enthusiasts and reviewers have hailed Eddington as amongst 2025's finest offerings and absolutely deserving of a viewing once it reaches UK shores. One five-star Google review declared: "This movie delivers on its promise to bring you back in time to the pandemic and make you feel those same feelings of isolation, hypocrisy and helplessness. "This is one of the best of the year thus far and one I will remember fondly. Thank you to the cast, crew, and writers for delivering us with a quality film like this. I hope to see more like it." Beyond the cinema, Grimes is confirmed to return as Kayce in the forthcoming Yellowstone spin-off, Y: Marshals, scheduled to debut in late 2025 or early 2026 on CBS. Dropping hints about the new series, he revealed: "There are going to be some familiar faces, but we're not shooting here in Montana. "Everything else is going to feel like a different world." Will you be catching Eddington this weekend or are you holding out for the Yellowstone star's comeback to television? Eddington is in UK cinemas from Friday, 22nd August. Yellowstone is available to stream on Paramount+.

Leonardo DiCaprio's ‘bizarre' behaviour exposed by UK pop star Diana Vickers
Don't miss out on the headlines from Hook Ups & Break Ups. Followed categories will be added to My News. Leonardo DiCaprio's 'bizarre' behaviour has been exposed by British pop star Diana Vickers. Vickers, who rose to fame on The X Factor before finding success in the West End, opened up about the time when she met the Hollywood star. Vickers described the time she was personally invited to the actor's home, only for the encounter to play out very differently to how she had expected. Pop star Diana Vickers has revealed details of her run-in with Leonardo DiCaprio. Picture: Instagram. 'I did meet Leo once,' she said on her new podcast Just Between Us. 'He will have no memory of meeting me. One of his mates invited me around to his house. I thought it was going to be a party. Then I ended up just sitting with him watching telly.' 'It was a really, really bizarre moment,' she continued. Vickers went on to suggest that she was just one of many women invited to spend time with DiCaprio. 'He surrounds himself with these good-looking lads, who are all looking for a good time. 'The good-looking lads go and source these hot women for him. 'That stuff happens a lot in Hollywood. These men have got so much fame and power, and they don't want to grow up. Leonardo DiCaprio was 'bizarre' according to Vickers. Picture: Getty. 'They just want to be surrounded by beautiful young women all the time. I am not generalising Leo here, I think that's just what happens. It's quite weird actually,' she added. It comes after DiCaprio revealed that he has one big regret about his career. 'I'll say it even though you're here: My biggest regret is not doing Boogie Nights, DiCaprio, 50, told Paul Thomas Anderson, who directed the 1997 epic, during an Esquire interview published Wednesday. 'It was a profound movie of my generation,' DiCaprio said, adding, 'I can't imagine anyone but Mark (Wahlberg) in it.' The Hollywood icon told Anderson, 55, that he thought Boogie Nights was 'a masterpiece' when he saw it for the first time. 'It's ironic that you're the person asking that question,' DiCaprio said to the director, 'but it's true.' DiCaprio turned down the role of Eddie Adams/Dirk Diggler in Boogie Nights to play Jack in James Cameron's disaster film Titanic. Wahlberg, 54, took the lead role in Anderson's film about a young nightclub dishwasher who becomes a porn star. The movie, which was nominated for three Oscars, also stars Julianne Moore, Burt Reynolds, Don Cheadle, John C. Reilly, William H. Macy, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Heather Graham. Diana Vickers reveals moment she caught Leonardo DiCaprio doing 'bizarre' thing
In a strange clash of worlds, Diana Vickers once ended up in a 'bizarre' situation with Hollywood A-lister Leonardo DiCaprio. The former X Factor star, 34, revealed on Metro's Just Between Us podcast that she had gone to Leo's home, thinking she'd landed a party invitation. Diana was discussing age-gap relationships with co-host Alice Giddings when the topic of the Titanic actor cropped up due to his recent comments. Leonardo, 50, has a reputation for dating a string of 20-something models and is currently seeing Vittoria Ceretti, 27. He was put forward as an example of a 'man in Hollywood with so much fame and power, who doesn't want to grow up.' 'I did meet Leo once', the singer told Metro's sex columnist before adding: 'He will have no memory of meeting me.' Diana revealed: 'One of his mates invited me around to his house. I thought it was going to be a party. 'Then I ended up just sitting with him watching telly. It was a really, really bizarre moment.' However, Diana believed this was more than just a one-time weirdness and instead the Revenant star 'has a system'. 'So, Leo's obviously at the helm of it – and he surrounds himself with these good-looking lads, who are all looking for a good time,' she shared. 'The good-looking lads go and source these hot women for him – it's really dodgy. 'That stuff happens a lot in Hollywood. These men have got so much fame and power, and they don't want to grow up. 'They just want to be surrounded by beautiful young women all the time. I am not generalising Leo here, I think that's just what happens. 'It's quite weird actually.' Leo recently said he 'turned emotionally 35 last year' in an interview for Esquire, after stating he was 32 years old. However, Diana explained that the age-gap relationship is becoming increasingly common for women as 'a lot more' are dating younger men. 'One of the last guys I dated was five years younger than me – I did feel it. It was why we didn't work out,' she said. More Trending Diana explained: 'When you're older, you want to put in the graft – you want to see things through. You don't dwell on smaller things as much. 'This guy just gave off immature energy – he was constantly holding on to things. I think I maybe acted immature because he was less mature. 'It made me feel less of my older, feminine energy. I sort of reverted back. It was a lot of fun though.' View More » You can listen to Metro's Just Between Us podcast on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and YouTube. Got a story? Bikini-clad Vittoria Ceretti spanks boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio's butt during romantic yacht trip
Vittoria Ceretti got feisty with her boyfriend, Leonardo DiCaprio, as she slapped his butt while vacationing in the Mediterranean Sea. The model was photographed giving the actor a spank while he walked ahead of her on the stairs of a yacht during their vacation off the coast of Formentera Island over the weekend. They were both soaked in their swimsuits, with DiCaprio wearing black swim trunks and Ceretti leaving little to the imagination in a black animal-print bikini. The A-list couple spent some time splashing around in the ocean, and Ceretti, 27, gave the Titanic star, 50, a towel to dry off with afterwards. They were also spotted chatting while basking in the sun with friends sitting nearby. DiCaprio and Ceretti spent some quality time together after joining Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's star-studded nuptials in Venice, Italy, in June. Page Six exclusively revealed they were dating in September 2023 when the pair was caught making out in an Ibiza nightclub. The Wolf of Wall Street star has been known to date younger women, including Gigi Hadid, 30, and Camila Morrone, 28, and breaking up with them 'before [their] pre-frontal cortex has fully developed.' DiCaprio, however, recently defended his dating habits, telling director Paul Thomas during an interview with Esquire that he feels younger than he is. 'If you didn't know how old you are, how old are you right now?' Thomas asked. 'Thirty-two,' the Inception star quipped, adding that he 'turned emotionally 35 last year.' 'Your age is 50, but your emotional maturity is 32. How does that feel?' the pornographic film actor, 76, questioned. DiCaprio explained that after his birthday last year, he had the desire to 'be much more upfront' and not 'waste' his time. 'It's almost a responsibility because much more of your life is behind you than it is ahead of you,' he added. The Departed star explained he's aware of the risks of 'things [falling] apart,' and 'going your separate ways in any type of relationship in life — the personal, professional.'
