After a blistering start to July across the UK, with temperatures soaring past 30°C earlier this week, fans headed to Silverstone could be in for a very different spectacle as F1 hits the historic track on July 4-6. The latest forecasts point to overcast skies and a real chance of rain just when it matters most.
Thursday's pre-weekend build-up looks ideal for fans setting up camp or enjoying the opening concert headlined by Sam Fender. With temperatures reaching 23°C and virtually no risk of rain, expect packed grandstands and buzzing energy as Sky Sports also kicks off their live coverage with the 'F1 Show.'
Friday practice should run uninterrupted under similar sunny skies, with the mercury climbing to 25°C. FP1 begins at 7:30 AM ET and FP2 follows at 11:00 AM ET critical sessions as teams fine-tune their setups ahead of what could be a very different Saturday and Sunday.

By the time qualifying rolls around on Saturday, however, the British weather might live up to its chaotic reputation. Temperatures are forecast to dip to around 21°C, with a 40% chance of rain — conditions that could play right into Mercedes' hands.

Come race day on Sunday, fans could see more drama. Drizzle is expected in the morning that could impact the Formula 3 undercard, and there remains a 30% chance of showers by lights out. Last year, similar weather turned the race into a strategic chess match, which Hamilton famously conquered for a record ninth British GP victory.
