Will GTA 6 be launched for PC and PS4? Here's what we know about Rockstar's latest action game release
The hype for Grand Theft Auto (GTA 6) is unmatched, especially following the release of the second trailer earlier this year (2025). The latest much-awaited installment of Rockstar's third-person action video game is set to take players back to Vice City for the first time in over 20 years. With the release date out, gamers can soon get their hands on it. With every new detail, excitement keeps building for what's easily one of the biggest and most talked-about games coming next year. It's been over a decade since GTA 5 launched, so there's a huge appetite for another open-world adventure from Rockstar—which has reportedly been in development since 2018. Explore courses from Top Institutes in Please select course: Select a Course Category GTA 6: Release date GTA 6 is set to release on May 26, 2026, with Rockstar confirming the date on X. So far, it's confirmed that GTA 6 will launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2026. The news came from an official Take-Two press release stating, "GTA 6 is coming to PlayStation 5 computer entertainment systems and Xbox Series X|S games and entertainment systems." With the PS5 Pro now out, it's still unclear if GTA 6 will have any PS5 Pro enhancements. As for a PC release, it's unlikely right now. Live Events Will GTA 6 be on PS4 and Xbox One? According to the official press release, GTA 6 is currently only set to launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X and won't be coming to PS4 or Xbox One when it releases in 2026. Will GTA 6 have a PC release? Right now, there's no word on a PC release, which might mean GTA 6 will follow the usual pattern of launching on consoles first and coming to PC later. Most likely, PC gamers will have to wait past the 2026 release date to play it on their platform. According to a former developer, Rockstar is focusing on PS5 first because "that's what sells," so a PC version will likely take a while, as reported by GamesRadar. Another former developer also mentioned that a PC launch for GTA 6 probably won't happen "for a long time."

The Fantastic Four: First Steps Reviews: What Do Critics Say About The Marvel Reboot?
The reviews have landed for Marvel's fourth go at , – and could it be that director Matt Shakman has finally given the superhero quartet the movie they deserve? First, we had 2005′s edition (and subsequent 2007 sequel, Rise of the Silver Surfer), which starred Chris Evans (who recently reprised the role of Johnny Storm in Deadpool vs Wolverine) and Jessica Alba. A perfectly fine offering... but truly fine at best. Then we got the moody 2015 reboot. It's somewhat long-forgotten amongst other Marvel films of the time, despite starring Miles Teller and Michael B. Jordan – which is maybe for the best given its 9% Rotten Tomatoes scoring. Now, with a super fun press tour to boot, we've been given a brand new set of superheroes (and Pedro Pascal's entrance to the Marvel cinematic universe at last) alongside new storyline (no origin stories here this time!) – but what do critics make of the latest iteration? Some have called it 'the best Marvel film yet', while others have labelled it 'not quite the confident strides fans were hoping for' – but if there's one thing they can all agree on, it's that the film heralds a much-needed new era for Marvel. Check out a selection of the reviews for yourself below… The Guardian (3/5) 'The result hangs together as an entertaining spectacle in its own innocent self-enclosed universe of fantasy wackiness, where real people actually read the comic books that have made mythic legends of the real Four. I have expressed my dissatisfaction recently with superhero films... but at least this finale emerges from the established story premise, and works well with the tone of uncomplicated fun.' 'If the script doesn't hit quite so many comedic high notes as some other Marvels, it at least brims with sincerity, presenting a heroic squad committed to protecting the Earth, while encouraging the whole world to link arms and do its bit, too. Those are the kind of heroes, it feels, that we need right now. 'This is the best Fantastic Four yet. And if that bar's too low for you, then it's also the best Marvel movie in years.' Games Radar (3.5/5) 'Fantastic? We'll settle for merely good. Fantastic Four may not be the confident stride Marvel fans were hoping for but, at the very least, it's a solid first step.' IGN 'These First Steps might not be the great strides I was hoping for, but they are sure footing for the Fantastic Four to officially leap into the MCU.' The Telegraph (4/5) 'After spending the best part of a decade since Iron Man 3 blundering into the furniture, Marvel has finally learned how to put one foot in front of the other again – and in doing so, arrived at the studio's funniest, most exciting, moving and complete film in more than 10 years.' BBC 'This film feels like a warm-up, introducing characters who will become major parts of the MCU. These characters are strong enough to stand out amidst the other superheroes, but you can already hear Wikipedia calling.' The Hollywood Reporter 'All four leads bring something special to their respective roles and to the superbly gauged balance of personalities that makes each of them essential to the group... It's fun but never campy.' ' First Steps is no disaster – but it's no Superman, either. Angst isn't on the cards for Marvel as of now. And it's nice, admittedly, to see the genre embrace wonder once again.' Variety 'True to its subtitle, the film feels like a fresh start. And like this summer's blockbuster 'Superman' reboot over at DC, that could be just what it takes to win back audiences suffering from superhero exhaustion.'

'I have great plans and ambitions': Noah Hawley's multi-season vision for 'Alien: Earth' has me counting down like it's Christmas
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Ask literally anyone in my life what I talk about most, and I'd bet 100 facehuggers they'll say 'Alien.' Considering this is my favorite franchise and a full-blown obsession at this point, 'Alien: Earth' is naturally my most anticipated series of the year. The sci-fi horror show is fast approaching. We're now just under a month out and with the world premiere happening at San Diego Comic-Con next week, the marketing has kicked into high gear. That includes the latest issue of SFX magazine, which features 'Alien: Earth' on the cover and showrunner Noah Hawley sharing more about his vision for the series' future. He said (h/t GamesRadar Plus): 'With Legion, I had a three-act structure. I didn't know if that was going to take three seasons or five seasons, but I knew what the three major thoughts of the story were. And here, I feel like I have that as well." Hawley continued: 'We created it as a recurring series, and I have great plans and ambitions for it as such. On the film side, I've had some conversations with them. 'This is not a Kevin Feige Marvel Universe moment. I'm not saying that in success, that we shouldn't be coordinating or thinking big picture about that – the show has to be a hit before you can really have those conversations.' I didn't know my excitement could grow for 'Alien: Earth,' but here we are. The fact that Hawley has long-term plans already shows he has faith in the series, where it's headed, and how it can tie into the larger universe. In fact, when speaking with Vanity Fair about the possibility of it merging with the original source material, he stated, 'I do know that at a certain point, the Weyland-Yutani Corporation is going to divert the Nostromo to that planet [LV-426].' You know, the charming little rock where curiosity gets you violently killed. Honestly, I feel like a kid counting down to Christmas. Only instead of presents, I'm waiting for Xenomorphs, corporate cover-ups, and even more otherworldly threats. If I could climb into a hypersleep pod and wake up on release day, I would. 'Alien: Earth' is set to premiere on FX on Hulu in the U.S. on August 12, and Disney Plus in the U.K on August 13. 007: FIRST LIGHT Dev Explains Why It Introduces a Younger, Less Polished Bond for a New Generation — GeekTyrant
The team behind 007: First Light is doing something Bond fans haven't really seen before, they're rewinding the clock. Instead of dropping players into the polished shoes of the suave, lethal secret agent we all know, IO Interactive is taking us back to the very beginning. The version of James Bond at the center of this game hasn't even earned his double-O status yet, and this should make for a very interesting story and gaming experience. Speaking with GamesRadar+ during Summer Game Fest, 007 franchise director Jonathan Lacaille explained the creative thinking behind the decision to tell an origin story: 'We have a story to tell that people are probably very curious to find out. What are the events and the people that shaped the character [James Bond] is today? Was he always the womanizer that he is, or the strong man that he is?' By exploring an era of Bond's life that's 'not been covered much,' Lacaille says the team was drawn to 'the exciting part' of what makes Bond become Bond. By making him younger, more impulsive, and even a bit clumsy, IO is hoping to connect with a newer generation of players. 'There's a lot of youth in him, so maybe some recklessness at times. And he has a lot of charm, but he doesn't know how to use it yet. He's maybe not as efficient as a [later] Bond would be.' That raw, not-quite-formed Bond is a strategic choice meant to feel 'more relatable' to players who might not be longtime fans of the franchise. Lacaille admits that the average gaming audience skews younger than the typical Bond moviegoer, and by showing a Bond who hasn't figured it all out yet, IO is hoping to strike a chord. 'It's a new story to tell, and also a story that would connect really well>' Of course, starting from scratch isn't easy. Unlike adapting a specific film or novel, this game has no roadmap. But for Lacaille, that's part of the creative thrill: 'It's not an adaptation or anything [...] but that's what will allow us to make a great game, because then we have a lot of freedom that will fit with the gameplay mechanics.' Lacaille went on the says that First Light is 'well-advanced since we've announced it' and already 'feels fantastic.' This may not be the version of Bond we're used to, but I am excited to see what the creative team does with this.
