Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 and Flip7 FE battery ratings posted, retailer listing confirms key specs
We already came across the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold7's EPREL label yesterday which confirmed its battery endurance, alongside key info on durability, repairability and ingress protection. We now have the same details for the Galaxy Z Flip7 which unsurprisingly shares identical scores in terms of overall energy efficiency (B), durability (A) and repairability (C) while also boasting an IP48 ingress protection rating. Flip7 does get a higher expected battery life on a single charge – at 42 hours and 4 minutes. Galaxy Z Flip7 EPREL label and detailed listing The detailed listing shows that Flip7 features a 4,174mAh rated battery capacity which should be marketed as 4,300mAh. The same set of details is also available for the Z Flip7 FE, which is certified with a rated battery capacity of 3,887mAh. That will likely be marketed as 4,000mAh. Galaxy Z Flip7 FE's EPREL listing Galaxy Z Fold7 is also seen and features a 4,272mAh rated capacity which will most likely be marketed as 4,400mAh. Galaxy Z Fold7's EPREL listing In related news, Z Flip7 also appeared in an early listing on a Romanian retailer's website. We can see the device in its three official colors - Jet Black, Blue Shadow and Coral Red. Galaxy Z Flip7 listing The listing also contains some key specs which confirm the device's 6.9-inch main screen and a 4.1-inch cover screen as well as its Exynos 2500 chipset and 4,300mAh battery capacity. We also get a pricing of RON 3,059 (€604) for the 12/256GB trim, which seems a bit too low so it's most likely incorrect. Source (in Romanian)| Via 1 • Via 2 (in Romanian)

Nothing Phone 3 vs OnePlus 13: Which mobile phone to buy and why?
Premium smartphones keep pushing boundaries, and this year, no two phones showcase that better than the Nothing Phone 3 and OnePlus 13. Though their price ranges overlap, each takes a different path to impress users. Here's a detailed comparison: Nothing sticks out in a crowd: a transparent matrix back panel and clean minerals. It's bold. With Gorilla Glass Victus and IP68 rating, it blends design and resilience, though the thicker 9mm profile may stand out in a pocket. OnePlus 13 takes a subdued approach. Its glass‑polymer build, aluminium frame and IP68/IP69 rating prioritise durability. At 8.9mm and 213g, it feels refined and easy to hold. Nothing's 6.67‑inch OLED boasts 120Hz smoothness and emblematic colours. But missing adaptive refresh can make fast-moving content appear less agile. OnePlus elevates the experience with LTPO 120Hz AMOLED, Dolby Vision HDR, and Ceramic Guard glass protection, ready for streamers, gamers, and creatives. The Nothing Phone 3 runs the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip and 16GB RAM max, handling daily tasks and gaming well. Yet OnePlus 13's Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and up to 24GB RAM are a power boost ideal for demanding multitasking, heavy apps, and future-proof scaling. Both offer modern Android 15 interfaces, but Nothing OS provides five years of OS updates against OnePlus' four. Each brand uses a trio of 50MP rear sensors with OIS, but Nothing raises the bar with a 50MP front camera better suited to video calls and selfies. OnePlus keeps it strong with a 32MP selfie sensor that still produces great results under varied conditions. Nothing's 5500mAh battery should last day-to-day, with 65W wired, 15W wireless, and limited reverse charging, but no bundled brick. OnePlus 13 moves further with a 6000mAh battery, faster 100W wired speed, quicker 50W wireless, and charging accessories included in the box.

Deals: Poco F7 arrives, Pixel 9a, Nothing Phone (3a) Pro, Realme GT 7 on sale
The Poco F7 launched this week, but there are plenty of phones near its price range that should be considered before committing to a purchase. We will also have a quick look at the two other F7 models. The Poco F7 is one of the first phones with the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and offers great performance for the price. The large 6.83' OLED display is great and the 6,500mAh battery lasts a long while (and is quick to charge at 90W to boot). Despite being the vanilla model of a value-oriented series, the F7 has a premium build with an aluminum frame and an IP68 rating. The Poco F7 Pro is €150 more, but its Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is only marginally faster. Its display is smaller (6.67' vs. 6.83') and sharper (1440p+ vs. 1280p+). The battery is smaller too at 6,000mAh, which can be felt in the Active Use score, which ended up 1 hour lower. The Pro model has a bigger sensor in the main camera (1/1.55' vs. 1/1.95') and it supports 8K video recording (only on the main cam, though, the ultra-wide doesn't even have autofocus). The Google Pixel 9a is pricier than the F7, despite having less memory. Worse, the Tensor G4 chipset is in a class below the Snapdragons. Whether you prefer the Google Android skin or the Poco one is up to you. The Pixel is pretty efficient, but not enough to make up for its small 5,100mAh battery. And the charging is quite slow (23W vs. 90W). Wireless charging is available, even if at only 7.5W. The Pixel also has an aluminum frame and an IP68 rating. You can get the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro for less than the F7. The Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 can't even match the Pixel 9a's performance, but Nothing spent its budget on the cameras instead of on the chipset. The 50MP main has a relatively large 1/1.56' sensor and there is a 50MP 3x/70mm telephoto lens – quite rare in this price range! There's also an 8MP ultra-wide on the back and a 50MP selfie camera on the front. Moving closer to flagship territory we find the Poco F7 Ultra. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite and a 5,300mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. The 6.67' 1440p+ OLED display is a 12-bit panel. The phone is equipped with a 50MP main camera (1/1.55'), 50MP telephoto (2.5x/60mm) and 32MP ultra-wide, plus a 32MP selfie camera. The Realme GT 7 is a bit cheaper and is based on the Dimensity 9400e. It comes close to the Snapdragon 8 Elite, though lags behind in single-core CPU and ray tracing GPU tests. The 6.78' 1264p+ 10-bit display has fewer pixels and colors, but it is an LTPO panel. The camera system is similar with a 50MP main (1/1.56'), 50MP telephoto (2x), 8MP ultra-wide and 32MP selfie. The Realme has a huge 7,000mAh battery with fast 120W wired-only charging. It is rated IP69, but only has a plastic frame (the F7 Ultra is rated IP68 and has an aluminum frame). Latest Leak Reveals Pixel 10 Pro Fold Upgrade
Pixel 9 Pro Fold Ahead of an expected launch in late August, Google is taking steps to make the Pixel 10 Pro Fold as attractive to consumers as possible. Protecting The Pixel 10 Pro Fold One of the key aspects of the new design is the increased protection offered. Last year's Pixel 9 Pro Fold offered IPX8 protection. This marked the foldable as water resistant, but not waterproof, and able to withstand being submerged in fresh water up to 1.5 meters deep for up to 30 minutes. The ominous X showed the handset had no protection against dust. Alexander Maxham reports that the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is expected to ship with an IP68 rating. This more comprehensive rating offers the same water resistance, but now adds protection from dust and other small particles. Projecting Confidence With The Pixel 10 Pro Fold It's a small step forward, but it will offer more confidence to consumers. IP68 is a term prevalent in marketing, so its inclusion on the 10 Pro Fold portrays the handset as matching the competition. And that's not just the competing foldable phones, but the mainstream candybar phones as well. Foldables have always carried an air of fragility to them. Indeed, the first foldables, launched more than five years ago, required careful screen handling. Since then, we have seen the engineering around ingests allow for smaller hinges with fewer moving parts, the crease in the screens reduced, and a move from soft plastic screen covers to more durable toughened glass. Selling The Pixel 10 Pro Fold There is still a sense that foldable phones are the equivalent of luxury sports cars, designed to show off the technical ability of the manufacturer and act as a halo product for the rest of the product line. Yet they are slowly gaining a broader appreciation in the consumer space. Improving the IP rating to something familiar is another step along that road. But there's another sign worth noting. Google brought the Fold under the same Pro branding last year and will do so again this year. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold will launch alongside its compatriots, namely the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL, which will signal that all four are consumer devices. Now read more about the Pixel 10 Pro Fold and Google's latest Android updates in Forbes' weekly smartphone news digest...
