Travis Kelce slams Ryan Reynolds' 'fake Hollywood persona' amid Taylor Swift's explosive rift with Blake Lively
Travis Kelce may be living a fairytale romance with global superstar Taylor Swift , but not all of her inner circle seems to mesh with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. According to a new report, Kelce is intentionally distancing himself from Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively — two of Swift's closest celebrity friends — due to what insiders describe as a clash in values and lifestyle preferences. Travis Kelce allegedly unfollowed Ryan Reynolds and stepped back from Hollywood's 'curated' circle A source close to the situation told celebrity columnist Rob Shuter that Kelce 'never really clicked' with Reynolds and Lively, despite sharing memorable double dates and even attending the Super Bowl together with Swift. According to the insider, Kelce is all about a 'frill-free' and 'grounded' life that reflects his Midwestern roots — an outlook that reportedly doesn't align with Reynolds' polished, A-list world. The source claimed Kelce finds Reynolds 'more Hollywood than human' and believes he doesn't belong in their 'curated celebrity world.' Adding fuel to the speculation, fans noted earlier this year that Kelce unfollowed Reynolds on Instagram — a quiet move that coincided with a growing rift between Swift and Lively following Lively's legal clash with her It Ends With Us co-star, Justin Baldoni. Tensions may be rooted in Blake Lively's legal battle and Baldoni's controversial countersuit The turning point in these celebrity dynamics appears to have been Blake Lively's sexual harassment lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, filed in December. In a surprising twist, Baldoni countersued for $400 million and named Swift in the filings, even subpoenaing her — though the subpoena was later withdrawn and his countersuit dismissed. Since then, reports have indicated that the longtime friendship between Swift and Lively may be irreparably damaged. Kelce, ever loyal to Swift, has reportedly remained by her side. The source added, 'He has always been Team Taylor, and never afraid to show it.' While the public may still see Kelce and Swift as the perfect celebrity couple, it seems not all friendships in their orbit are still intact. Justin Baldoni Is In Hot Water Again After New Lawsuit From His Insurance Company
The insurer covering Justin Baldoni's studio Wayfarer for work on It Ends With Us has sued him and the studio, stating that its policies don't cover the claims made by Blake Lively in her sexual harassment lawsuit. Harco National Insurance Company – the insurer in question – filed a lawsuit on Monday stating that the two policies that Wayfarer took out with them ran between 15 July 15 2023 and July 15, 2024, and a second running from 15 July 2024 to 15 July, 2025. Therefore, the lawsuit alleges that 'Lively and others complained of sexual harassment during pre-production and production of the Film,' which was as early as May 2023, outside the time parameters of the policy. The insurance company has advised that it 'will not provide coverage for claims or incidents which the applicant is aware of prior to the inception date of any coverage that is offered and accepted.' (Photo: IMAGO) The accusations listed in Lively's complaint against Baldoni include sexual harassment; retaliation; failure to investigate, prevent and/or remedy harassment; aiding and abetting harassment and retaliation; breach of contract; intentional infliction of emotional distress; negligence; false light invasion of privacy and interference with prospective economic advantage. Baldoni then filed a $400 million countersuit, which claimed that Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, orchestrated a smear campaign against him. His countersuit was dismissed by a judge earlier this month. 'Despite the acknowledged pre-July 2023 complaints by Lively and others, Wayfarer's July 2023 Application for the 2023 Policy includes a letter from Wayfarer which warrants that no person or entity for whom the insurance is intended has any knowledge or information of any act, error, omission, fact or circumstance which may give rise to a claim which may fall within the Employment Practices Liability coverage if issued by Harco (the '2023 Warranty'),' the lawsuit states. 'Despite this notice, and despite the November 2023 Demand and additional allegations of sexual harassment presented by Lively during a January 2024 meeting, Wayfarer's 2024 Renewal Application advised Harco that there was no claim, notice of potential claim, or any situation that may give rise to a claim within the last 12 months,' it continues. 'There was no claim or notice or potential claim.' Essentially, Harco are alleging that they were not informed of Blake Lively's complaints, which were a precursor to the litigation that followed, during the filming of It Ends With Us. The ongoing legal issues come after latest developments in Lively's initial lawsuit saw her deposed by Baldoni's team ahead of trial. Lively was granted a protective order by the judge presiding over the case, after her team feared Baldoni's would make a public spectacle it and that content creators would be invited to the should-be private deposition - which took place on 17 July. The director's legal team was therefore asked to identify everyone who will attend her deposition, They were required to give two days notice as to who will be attending. Before this motion was granted, Baldoni's team suggested that the Gossip Girl actor was using her 'celebrity status' as well as trying to dictate and control the deposition, 'at a location of her choosing.' 'Lively is a plaintiff who has hurled serious allegations of misconduct against the Wayfarer Parties,' a letter from Baldoni's team reads. 'Like all defendants, the Wayfarer Parties are entitled to depose Lively to develop evidence crucial to their defense. They are also entitled to choose the location of the deposition, which they did.' His team also referred to Lively's requests as examples of 'foot stomping' referring to her lawyer's behaviour as a 'tantrum,' and that she has used her celebrity status to 'seize control' of It Ends With Us, which Baldoni and Lively both starred in. Statements were made by Baldoni's lawyer Bryan Freedman about holding Lively's deposition at New York City's Madison Square Garden. 'Hold the deposition at MSG, sell tickets or stream it, and donate every dollar to organisations helping victims of domestic abuse,' he told People in an interview. Freedman has also subpoenaed Taylor Swift as part of his legal strategy, who he has claimed was the target of an extortion effort by Lively. The date for Lively and Baldoni's trial is set for March 2026 and will be held in New York City. Lawyers for both actors have indicated that both plan to testify during the proceedings.

Blake Lively drops YouTuber subpoenas while Justin Baldoni case escalates
In a surprise plot twist worthy of a Netflix thriller, Blake Lively has officially called off her subpoena storm against three YouTubers who found themselves tangled in her explosive legal drama with It Ends With Us director and co-star Justin Baldoni. Yep, the Gossip Girl star has hit pause on what many called a digital witch hunt. Blake Lively's YouTube subpoena saga just got a plot twist According to court documents revealed on 26 July, Lively's team informed the judge they would no longer pursue subpoenas against YouTube creators Kassidy O'Connell, McKenzie Folks, and Lauren Neidigh. The original subpoenas had demanded juicy details like bank account and credit card info, a legal move that sent shockwaves through the creator community. No further info needed, for now In a formal letter to the judge, Lively's legal squad stated that based on what these creators had already shared publicly and during legal exchanges, there was no need to push further. Translation? These three YouTubers are off the subpoena hook, at least for now. Her team stressed that the subpoenas were part of a standard evidence-gathering process. They were trying to trace whether Baldoni's camp orchestrated an 'untraceable' smear campaign using online platforms like YouTube and X (formerly Twitter). Creators clapped back, loud and clear Before the withdrawal, O'Connell and Neidigh had both fired back with fierce letters to the court, accusing Lively's legal team of harassment and intimidation. O'Connell claimed there was zero legal basis for the subpoena and said Lively was stretching discovery with no real evidence. Neidigh slammed it as burdensome and invasive. Even though these three creators are out of the crosshairs, Lively's team is still digging deep into other digital corners. They are determined to connect the dots between Baldoni's PR strategy and a potential smear campaign allegedly designed to silence her. Lively vs Baldoni: The showdown continues Lively's lawsuit alleges sexual harassment and retaliation by Baldoni during the making of It Ends With Us. Baldoni has denied all claims, reportedly hiring a crisis PR team to handle the fallout. While the subpoena drama cools down for some, the main event is heating up, Blake and Justin are set to face off in court on 9 March 2026. So, while this chapter closes, the battle is far from over. Grab popcorn, Gen Z, because this legal drama is far from its season finale.

Justin Baldoni and Emily Baldoni marked a major milestone in their marriage this weekend. Here's how Justin and Emily Baldoni celebrate their anniversary Justin shared a throwback photo from their July 2013 wedding in Corona, California. In the picture, the It Ends With Us star is seen dancing with Emily during the ceremony, wearing a cream suit and a white floral boutonniere. Emily matched him with a floral headpiece and a flowing white dress. 'I'd marry you again and again and again and again…' Justin captioned the post. 'Happy anniversary my love. T W E L V E.' Justin proposed to Emily in April 2013 at Blu Jam Cafe in Los Angeles, the same place where they had their first date. His elaborate proposal became an internet sensation, featuring a 27-minute video with boy band skits and hidden cameras capturing Emily's surprise reaction. Here's what else is happening in Justin Baldoni's life The anniversary comes just over a month after Justin's ongoing legal dispute with Blake Lively was resolved in court. In December 2024, Lively filed a lawsuit accusing Justin of sexual harassment and retaliation, claims he has firmly denied. In response, Justin filed a USD 400 million countersuit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist Leslie Sloane as per PEOPLE. He also launched a separate USD 250 million libel lawsuit against The New York Times. However, on June 9, 2025, Judge Lewis J. Liman dismissed both suits.

Blake Lively Slams Justin Baldoni's Lawyers For Turning Legal Battle Into 'Public Spectacle'
Last Updated: Blake Lively is suing Justin Baldoni for sexual harassment and retaliation. She criticised his legal team for trying to make the case a public spectacle. Blake Lively has slammed Justin Baldoni's legal team for trying to turn their legal battle into a 'public spectacle". The former Gossip Girl star is suing her It Ends With Us co-star and director for sexual harassment and retaliation and she's now filed a motion requesting the judge agrees to a protective order which would see her sit for her deposition on 17 July at a redacted location, with everyone attending to be identified in advance. The movie came after a lawyer for Justin – whose counterclaims against Blake and her husband Ryan Reynolds for extortion and defamation were dismissed last month – previously said he wanted the deposition to be taken in public for people to see. Attorney Bryan Freedman told People magazine in May: 'Hold the deposition at MSG, sell tickets or stream it, and donate every dollar to organizations helping victims of domestic abuse." Following the court filing, Blake's representatives hit out at the 41-year-old actor's team. They told People magazine: 'Ms. Lively is looking forward to her deposition next week, and it should follow the same rules as every other witness in this case. Justin Baldoni's lawyer has tried to make this matter a public spectacle at every turn, even proposing to sell tickets to a televised deposition at Madison Square Garden. This is a serious matter of sexual harassment and retaliation and it deserves to be treated as such." The new filing revealed Blake, 37, asked the judge to block Justin and his team from selecting where the deposition takes place. Her lawyers wrote: '[Baldoni's team have] not denied that their intent is to manufacture a harassing publicity stunt by requiring Ms. Lively to parade through paparazzi, or by inviting unknown attendees to the deposition, including members of the media or social media influencers, or any other number of abusive tactics. Since virtually the inception of this litigation, Defendants have used even the prospect of Ms. Lively's deposition to generate press interest." 'The high-profile nature of this litigation, and the nature of Ms. Lively's retaliation claims, demonstrates a substantial risk of the deposition turning into a publicity event and potentially attracting interested individuals who could pose security risks." The Another Simple Favor star's lawyers insisted the filing was a 'reasonable request to prevent the risk of annoyance, harassment, and verbal or physical threats," and alleged Justin's team 'appear to seek another public relations moment, or to create conditions for intimidation or harassment." A trial is set to take place in March 2026. First Published: July 12, 2025, 21:49 IST Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. Please keep discussions respectful and constructive.
