Meet the Hamptons cake boss beloved by Amy Schumer and Hannah Berner

She has hot wheels — and sweet treats hot out of the oven. Long Island native Christina Padrazo, 37, is making a name for herself serving cakes and cookies to boldface clients — Amy Schumer, 'Giggly Squad' hosts Hannah Berner and Paige DeSorbo, Brock Davies and Scheana Shay from 'Vanderpump Rules' — from a bubblegum pink,1964 Shasta Airflyte trailer. 13 Long Island native Christina Padrazo, 37, serves up cakes and cookies to boldface clients — Amy Schumer, 'Giggly Squad' hosts Hannah Berner and Paige DeSorbo, Brock Davies and Scheana Shay from 'Vanderpump Rules' — from a bubblegum pink,1964 Shasta Airflyte trailer. She eventually sank about $30,000 of her life savings into converting a camper into a confectionery kitchen. Her big break came in 2022 when she slid into Berner's DMs on a whim. 13 Last year, a Netflix producer personally called Padrazo about making a cameo in Amy Schumer's 'Kinda Pregnant' movie. In my mind I was like, 'this is the ultimate shooting your shot.' That's her whole schtick. She DM'd me back within minutes. She said 'Yes!'' Padrazo said of booking her first big celebrity gig. Berner gave her full creative freedom to make a three-tier, half chocolate-half funfetti wedding cake adorned with fresh blooms for her wedding to fellow comic Des Bishop, 49. It opened the door to more celebrity intros, and, eventually, Padrazo saved up enough dough to open a standalone bakery, The Treatery in Jamesport, Long Island, in late 2022. 13 Padrazo named her retro pink trailer, Stella. Never afraid to put herself out there, Padrazo popped up at the Barstool Sports office in a Knicks jacket earlier this year to serve up her mini chocolate chip cookies to 'Chicks in the Office' podcast co-host Ria Ciuffo. It paid off. She got a shoutout on air, and Cuiffo loved the sweets so much that she hired Padrazo to create custom mini chocolate chip cookies for her wedding guests earlier this month. 13 Padrazo, who is Sicilian-American, learned to make Italian pastries, such as rainbow cookies, pignoli and zeppole, growing up. Netflix has racked up 15 No. 1 movies in 2025 so far — here's the 3 worth watching

Being ranked as the No. 1 movie on Netflix might not be as prestigious as winning Best Picture at the Oscars, but it's still a sign that a film has managed to draw the attention (and viewing hours) of millions of subscribers to the world's biggest streaming service. To date in 2025, 15 movies have managed to ascend to the top of the Netflix top 10 list (per Netflix's tracking data). While it's perhaps not a vintage collection, with several skippable efforts like 'Kinda Pregnant' and 'iHostage' wearing the crown for a period, there has been a handful of flicks worthy of the top spot. Below, I'm picking out the trio I think are most deserving of a place in your Netflix watchlist. If you missed any of these movies when they were ranked No. 1 on the platform, now is the time to circle back and give them a stream. I'm starting my picks with 'To Catch a Killer,' a 2023 thriller that enjoyed a surprise renaissance on Netflix this year. While it follows a cookie-cutter detective thriller blueprint, the mystery at its core is engaging enough, and the violent opening sequence, which sees a sniper begin shooting innocent targets from a rooftop, is pretty startling. The movie stars Shailene Woodley as a Baltimore beat cop named Eleanor. Grappling with a troubled past, Eleanor has an uncanny knack for spotting hidden clues others often miss, but her personal demons threaten to bubble to the surface and could put the hunt for the bloodthirsty killer in jeopardy. Ben Mendelsohn plays the head of the FBI task force in charge of the manhunt, and enjoys some strong (and heated) exchanges with Woodley. While the narrative conventions are pretty predictable, 'To Catch a Killer' is a well-produced take on a formula that never goes out of fashion. Watch on Netflix now I'm bracing myself for the angry comments to this selection already. I wrote about how much I enjoyed Gareth Evans' 'Havoc" last month, and let's just say the reader response was … fierce. While this grimdark action-thriller has endured a pretty torrid reception from many viewers (It holds a poor 37% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes), its frantic and extremely brutal fight scenes really worked for me. Evans, director of the 'The Raid' movies, is one of the best in the business when it comes to cinematic carnage, and I loved his latest slice of ultra-action. I also enjoyed seeing Tom Hardy in a very watchable movie again, as I've been largely unimpressed with his recent roles. However, I can't deny that his character of Walker, a bruised and hardboiled detective, doesn't exactly stand out as all that memorable. If you're looking for narrative depth, you won't find it in 'Havoc.' The movie's plot is overstuffed with far too many criminal players involved and it's all told in a needlessly convoluted way. But if you want to see stunning action choreography and plenty of intense shoot-outs that will get your adrenaline pumping, 'Havoc' is a Netflix original movie that few can measure up to. Watch on Netflix now Switching gear quite dramatically from nightclub brawls to the joys of a home-cooked meal, 'Nonnas' is a Netflix movie that is simply nice. There's no better word for it. Yes, 'nice' is not perhaps the most gushing of compliments, but 'Nonnas' is a simple movie, and it achieves its modest objective without any unnecessary fuss. It's the perfect lazy Sunday watch, and will have you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. It may have unambitious aims, but it succeeds all the same. The comedy-drama centers on Joe Scaravella (Vince Vaughn), a Brooklyn native who decides to open a restaurant on Staten Island. So far, so normal. The culinary twist is that his eatery is staffed by grandmothers (or nonnas), cooking recipes passed down across generations. Inspired by a heartwarming true story, 'Nonnas' is a celebration of family bonds and the people and heritage that make us who we are. Plus, with Susan Sarandon, Lorraine Bracco, Talia Shire, Linda Cardellini and Joe Manganiello in supporting roles, it packs an extremely likeable cast of characters. Watch on Netflix now

Model Molly Sims on the Beauty Holy Grails She Always Travels With—‘They're Worth Their Weight in Gold'

Molly Sims is having quite a year. The model and founder of Something Happy Productions both co-produced and acted in Netflix's "Kinda Pregnant" with Amy Schumer, and she just set up another high-profile project for the streamer. "The Last Mrs. Parrish" is based on the juicy bestselling novel, with Jennifer Lopez as the lead and Academy Award-winning Robert Zemeckis attached to direct. 'Long story short, the option on the book was coming up, and I called one of my good friends who's a big producer, Liza Chasin of 3dot Productions. We partnered and ended up getting it,' she tells Travel + Leisure. 'It was the right time at the right place.' The multi-hyphenate and mother of three is also overseeing the rapid expansion of her YSE Beauty brand, including launching at Sephora this month. 'Having Sephora as a new partner is so exciting. We're ready, we just turned two, and the brand has crazily taken off; things are really super,' she says. A group photo from a family vacation. Modeling all over the world for over 30 years, and for such globally renowned brands as CoverGirl and Sports Illustrated , Sims is also very well versed in travel tips—like how to pack efficiently and how to arrive feeling rejuvenated after a flight. 'I love packing cubes; I'm a packing cube kind of woman,' she says. 'I love when things are organized, and I can just zip and not necessarily have to take it all out.' Sims has plenty of beauty rituals too. 'I went to New York to host The Kelly Clarkson Show for a couple of days, and I literally slept in my Overachiever eye masks and had my Like A Gloss lip treatment on because I had to film and was dehydrated,' she adds. 'I had my earphones in and did a Talika mask when I got there, it's a French brand I like.' One thing you can't travel without? Ear pods. But the ones with the wires, they're better. How do you spend time on flights? I sleep. In-flight beauty tip? My Your Favorite Ex pads or Overachiever eye masks. Favorite family destination? Mexico. We've had a home in Cabo for 15 years and just redid it. Dream trip? I'd love to take my family to India. It was one of the best trips I ever took as a model. I went for two days, I think for Marie Claire , and I got to go to Rajasthan and Jaipur. It was one of the best trips I've ever taken in my life. She always travels with a few additional beauty holy grails, like the Georgia Louise cryo tools. 'I'm telling you—they're worth their weight in gold. I have the face roller that I use as a gua sha, and I always take that with me.' A silky eye mask and Neutrogena wipes are her other essentials. 'I'll wash my face with the wipes and then use my Your Favorite Ex exfoliating pads.' A touch of glow is also a given. 'I'm excited to try the Westman Atelier Sun Tone bronzing drops that I just got.' Brightening Eye Mask, Skin Glow SPF, and Vacation Glow Highlighter Stick from skincare brand YSE Beauty. Thanks to a busy work and travel schedule, wellness is always top of mind for Sims. 'I use the Zicam nasal swabs, Alkalize [supplement powder] from Sarah Wragge Wellness, and wellness shots with turmeric and ginger,' she says. 'I do it constantly, every single day.' And if she's feeling anxious or needs help getting to sleep, she listens to Gabby. 'It's Gabby Bernstein and such a good app.' Beyond growing YSE and working on projects with her production company, Sims is also preparing for a couple of upcoming trips with her kids. 'We have a lacrosse schedule for our son and will be doing something fun with our daughter in August. If she qualifies, she's going to pony finals, so we'll get to go to Lexington for 10 days.' Summer family vacation planning with husband Scott Stuber, a former Netflix executive who now heads up United Artists under Amazon MGM, is also top of mind. 'We'll all spend time in the Hamptons, and we're going to try to hop over to Europe for a week.'

Amy Schumer Had ‘Chocolate Cysts,' ‘Choked' Appendix From Endometriosis: ‘Miracle That I Was Able to Carry a Child'

Amy Schumer said she was 'vomiting from the pain' before her 2021 endometriosis diagnosis The comic gave a surprise speech at the 13th Annual Endometriosis Foundation of America's Blossom Ball in New York City, where she thanked Dr. Tamer Seckin for lifting "the pain" from her body Schumer said her appendix was 'choked' by endometriosis, which gave her "chocolate cysts" in her ovaries. She said it was a 'miracle" she could carry her son GeneAmy Schumer said she was 'on the floor in pain" and "vomiting' because of endometriosis before her diagnosis, explaining that her body was essentially 'choked' by the effects of the disease. The Kinda Pregnant actress, 43, had a hysterectomy and an appendectomy to help treat the disease in September 2021. Four years later, Schumer took the stage on Thursday, May 15, for a surprise speech at the 13th Annual Endometriosis Foundation of America's Blossom Ball at The Pierre in New York City. In her speech at the event, Schumer told the crowd she was living in "pain that nobody can see" for "most days of the month" before receiving her official diagnosis of endometriosis. The condition "is a disease in which tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus," according to the World Health Organization, which estimates that approximately 190 million women worldwide have the disease. It wasn't until the 2019 birth of her son, Gene David Fischer, whom she shares with husband Chris Fischer, that Schumer said her doctor diagnosed her with endometriosis and adenomyosis — when tissue grows into the uterine wall — and sent her to see Dr. Tamer Seckin, founder of the advocacy group EndoFound. Schumer said it was 'a unique experience to have the proof for the first time. To sit down in his office, and have him go through and show me the 33 [attachments] that I had from endo. That my appendix was being choked by endometriosis. "That I had chocolate cysts [which are full of old blood] in my ovaries," Schumer continued. "And that it was a miracle that I was able to carry a child.' The conversation, she said, left her 'just weeping and weeping and weeping.' 'Sitting there, feeling seen, he lifted the pain out of my body. I am pain-free now for about five or six years,' Schumer said. She then used her signature stand-up comedy to thank Dr. Seckin for deciding to 'not focus in the medical field on what so many do, which is d—k pills, right?" She joked, "We'll get to the women next lifetime.' Schumer previously opened up about how her diagnosis for endometriosis changed her life. While appearing on the Paramount+ docuseries The Checkup with Dr. David Agus in 2022, Schumer said getting treatment for the disease even changed how she parented her young son. "I felt like a new person. It was incredible," she said at the time. "I feel like someone lifted this veil that had been over me and I just felt like a different person and like a new mom." Amy Schumer Opens the Doors to Her Colorful 'Dream' Home in New Orleans — See Inside!

Amy Schumer is showing off her charming and colorful New Orleans home in a new house tour with 'Homeworthy' According to the comedian, the property is filled with things that she and husband Chris Fischer "fell in love with" She even reveals the one piece of furniture that the two disagree on, despite saying the two "have a similar sensibility"Amy Schumer is enjoying life down in the Big Easy! In a new video tour with Homeworthy posted on Friday, May 9, the actress and comedian, 43, took viewers around her New Orleans home that she shares with her husband, Chris Fischer, and their 5-year-old son, Gene. Schumer, who was born in New York City and recently listed her Brooklyn townhouse for sale, says she "fell in love" with the Louisiana coastal city after first visiting when she was 16 years old. "And then over the years, going on the road, doing standup and then eventually being married and pregnant, we were spending more and more time here," the Kinda Pregnant star tells the outlet. "And so in 2021, we bought this beautiful place and renovated it and made it into our dream, dramatic New Orleans hang." She adds, "This house is, like, our dream come true." Homeworthy describes the property as "a jewel box of a home that perfectly blends old-world Southern charm with Amy's unmistakable wit and fearless creativity." The media company — which was founded by Emmy Award-winning television producer Alison Kenworthy — adds that the home is filled with everything from "hand-painted murals and collected antiques to bold artwork and whimsical touches." Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. "I think people would be pretty surprised by how much pride and effort and specificity I put into my home," Schumer says, explaining that she doesn't live "like a hoarder [or] under a lot of neon bar signs" like people might think. "I actually like being around beauty," she continues. While guiding the camera through their home, Schumer shows off a vast collection of books in her library, including "100 plays." When it comes to the room's main accessory, she quips, "Having a sliding ladder in the library feels like I've made it." One area Schumer was really excited to show off was the hall bathroom, which was adorned with cat chandeliers, which she says "are pretty essential," as well as hand-painted murals by the same artist who also turned the entryway into "the flamingo room" with wall paintings of the bird. Elsewhere in the home is "the pink room" filled with furniture by architect and designer India Mahdavi and a bar from a thrift store, where Schumer says she and Fischer, 44, "just like to have a drink at." When asked what their drink of choice was, Schumer says that "we drink a lot of margaritas in our home [and] late-night red wine, of course." Later in the video, she shows off a room called "couch couch" because "we just lay around" on the multiple sofas in the space. "Everything you see is something that Chris and I fell in love with," the Life & Beth star says, noting, "We have a similar sensibility." However, she does admit there are a few things they don't agree on — particularly in the "couch couch" space. "He really likes this yellow couch and I don't. And I don't really like these pillows," she says of one of the sofas. "But that's where you compromise, right? That's marriage." The kitchen, meanwhile, was designed by Fischer, who is a farmer and chef. "This old big butcher block is very Chris, and this is sort of his taste that has become my taste," Schumer shares, adding that "a lot of cooking goes on in here; a lot of late-night cooking goes on in here." She then admits that "Chris is the one doing all the cooking in here and all the chopping." The comedian, who starred in the Food Network series Amy Schumer Learns to Cook, which saw Fischer teaching her various new dishes, adds that "I help a little bit." "But mostly he's in [the kitchen] making food for the whole family," she continues. Later, Schumer shows off the guest bedroom's ensuite bathroom, which is entirely covered in plaster (including the bathtub). Speaking to the Italian rustic vibes, she quips, "You want to be transported to Italy when you're taking a dump, don't you?" is now available in the Apple App Store! Download it now for the most binge-worthy celeb content, exclusive video clips, astrology updates and more! When showing off the pool and backyard space, Schumer's Kinda Pregnant costar, Jillian Bell, makes a surprise appearance while sitting on a porch swing. "Don't miss Jillian. She sort of just comes with the house. I won't even know she's here, and I just come and she's here," the comedian deadpans. "The highlight of the tour," Schumer says, is her collection of commemorative musical plates, including ones for Sound of Music and Annie, which is displayed in a hutch in the dining room. When asked to say more, she notes that the plate captures "Julie Andrews in her absolute prime," and that they're purely decorative. "I have kept them for a really long time and I think they might be worth something," she continues. "Everything has meaning to us," Schumer notes, before later adding, "It's a home filled with so much love and our son loves it." Read the original article on People
