In a new video tour with Homeworthy posted on Friday, May 9, the actress and comedian, 43, took viewers around her New Orleans home that she shares with her husband, Chris Fischer, and their 5-year-old son, Gene.
Schumer, who was born in New York City and recently listed her Brooklyn townhouse for sale, says she "fell in love" with the Louisiana coastal city after first visiting when she was 16 years old.
"And then over the years, going on the road, doing standup and then eventually being married and pregnant, we were spending more and more time here," the Kinda Pregnant star tells the outlet. "And so in 2021, we bought this beautiful place and renovated it and made it into our dream, dramatic New Orleans hang."
She adds, "This house is, like, our dream come true."
Homeworthy describes the property as "a jewel box of a home that perfectly blends old-world Southern charm with Amy's unmistakable wit and fearless creativity."
The media company — which was founded by Emmy Award-winning television producer Alison Kenworthy — adds that the home is filled with everything from "hand-painted murals and collected antiques to bold artwork and whimsical touches."

"I think people would be pretty surprised by how much pride and effort and specificity I put into my home," Schumer says, explaining that she doesn't live "like a hoarder [or] under a lot of neon bar signs" like people might think.
"I actually like being around beauty," she continues.
While guiding the camera through their home, Schumer shows off a vast collection of books in her library, including "100 plays." When it comes to the room's main accessory, she quips, "Having a sliding ladder in the library feels like I've made it."
One area Schumer was really excited to show off was the hall bathroom, which was adorned with cat chandeliers, which she says "are pretty essential," as well as hand-painted murals by the same artist who also turned the entryway into "the flamingo room" with wall paintings of the bird.
Elsewhere in the home is "the pink room" filled with furniture by architect and designer India Mahdavi and a bar from a thrift store, where Schumer says she and Fischer, 44, "just like to have a drink at."
When asked what their drink of choice was, Schumer says that "we drink a lot of margaritas in our home [and] late-night red wine, of course."
Later in the video, she shows off a room called "couch couch" because "we just lay around" on the multiple sofas in the space. "Everything you see is something that Chris and I fell in love with," the Life & Beth star says, noting, "We have a similar sensibility."
However, she does admit there are a few things they don't agree on — particularly in the "couch couch" space. "He really likes this yellow couch and I don't. And I don't really like these pillows," she says of one of the sofas. "But that's where you compromise, right? That's marriage."
The kitchen, meanwhile, was designed by Fischer, who is a farmer and chef. "This old big butcher block is very Chris, and this is sort of his taste that has become my taste," Schumer shares, adding that "a lot of cooking goes on in here; a lot of late-night cooking goes on in here."
She then admits that "Chris is the one doing all the cooking in here and all the chopping." The comedian, who starred in the Food Network series Amy Schumer Learns to Cook, which saw Fischer teaching her various new dishes, adds that "I help a little bit."
"But mostly he's in [the kitchen] making food for the whole family," she continues.
Later, Schumer shows off the guest bedroom's ensuite bathroom, which is entirely covered in plaster (including the bathtub). Speaking to the Italian rustic vibes, she quips, "You want to be transported to Italy when you're taking a dump, don't you?"

When showing off the pool and backyard space, Schumer's Kinda Pregnant costar, Jillian Bell, makes a surprise appearance while sitting on a porch swing. "Don't miss Jillian. She sort of just comes with the house. I won't even know she's here, and I just come and she's here," the comedian deadpans.
"The highlight of the tour," Schumer says, is her collection of commemorative musical plates, including ones for Sound of Music and Annie, which is displayed in a hutch in the dining room.
When asked to say more, she notes that the plate captures "Julie Andrews in her absolute prime," and that they're purely decorative. "I have kept them for a really long time and I think they might be worth something," she continues.
"Everything has meaning to us," Schumer notes, before later adding, "It's a home filled with so much love and our son loves it."

Sydney Sweeney breaks silence on Jonathan Davino breakup, is 'loving' single life Show Caption Hide Caption Sydney Sweeney arrives at the 2025 Met Gala in dazzling black gown Sydney Sweeney graces the Met Gala red carpet in a dazzling black gown. Sydney Sweeney is clearing up rumors about her engagement to Jonathan Davino once and for all. When asked by the U.K. newspaper The Sunday Times about their status, Sweeney was honest but withheld details. She confirmed she is no longer planning a wedding with Davino, with whom she co-founded a production company; the two had been linked together for nearly seven years. And she replied "yes" when asked whether she's single now. "I'm learning a lot about myself, spending more time with my friends. And I'm loving it," the 27-year-old told the newspaper. Sweeney's comments, which were published in the newspaper's May 31 feature story timed to her new AppleTV+ film, "Echo Valley," come more than three months after rumors started swirling around a possibly rocky relationship. By the end of March, outlets including People, TMZ and US Weekly were reporting the two had split. Sweeney's representatives did not respond to USA TODAY's request for comment at the time. Relationship timeline: Sydney Sweeney and Jonathan Davino spark split rumors Sydney Sweeney reveals close relationship with Glen Powell Sweeney also touched on the box-office success of the 2023 movie she and Davino co-produced, "Anyone But You." The film – and Sweeney and co-star Glen Powell's marketing stunts – fueled a seldom-seen race to see the rom-com in theaters. "Glenn and I adore each other, so I think we were so happy for the reception of the film," she said, noting the two are "still close." (Sweeney attended Powell's sister's wedding in Texas in March.) "When you spend so much time with someone, you become close and you talk to each other about anything," she told The Sunday Times. "So work, life, family, friends, he's just there for me. I'm there for him." In an April 2024 New York Times interview, Powell admitted the speculation over whether he and Sweeney were having an affair was all a showmance. "The two things that you have to sell a rom-com are fun and chemistry. Sydney and I have a ton of fun together, and we have a ton of effortless chemistry," he said. "That's people wanting what's on the screen off the screen, and sometimes you just have to lean into it a bit — and it worked wonderfully." He added, "Sydney is very smart." Sydney Sweeney's essentials: She dishes on her favorite rom-com and what's on her playlist Sydney Sweeney says she's typecast as Cassie from 'Euphoria' Sweeney also opened up to The Sunday Times about being back on the "Euphoria" set. "Being back is crazy. I love Cassie so much," she said. "She's insane." Sweeney also got honest about how she feels she is typecast when auditioning for roles. "I see it all the time where they don't think I am right for [a role] because they watched Cassie in Euphoria. Especially because Cassie was such a sexualized character — that puts a wall up for people," she told the newspaper. The other battle she's fighting in Hollywood is being "taken seriously as a producer." Sweeney said, "I have to prove myself as a young woman, as an actor, as a businessperson — all of it."

T-Pain fuels retirement rumors after teasing 'big decision' in social media video

T-Pain fuels retirement rumors after teasing 'big decision' in social media video Grammy Award-winning rapper T-Pain dropped a mysterious video on social media that hints at a "big decision" to make after two decades in the industry. In the 43-second clip, published on June 2, the "Buy U a Drank" emcee hinted at taking a step back and thanked his fans for a "making this a great ride." "I gave you all everything for 20 years. I'm grateful to each of you for making this such a great ride," T-Pain said in the video's caption. "Right now, I just need some time for me." He ends the video with the words, "This might be it." While the meaning behind the video is unclear, some users on social media have suggested the rapper could be considering retirement. The USA TODAY Network has reached out to a representative for T-Pain for comment. The hip-hop star, known for his use of auto-tune and deft ability to crank out club-charting hits, has been on the road performing shows all over the country. This musical grind comes after T-Pain (whose real name is Faheem Najm) made a big splash in his hometown of Tallahassee, Florida, in 2024. In November, a street named "T-Pain Lane" was revealed in his honor at a portion of Pasco Street from Orange Avenue to Tucker Street that ends at Bond Elementary School. Later the same day, the rapper performed to a sold-out crowd, his first headliner show in the city, at the Adderley Amphitheater during Tallahassee's bicentennial celebration concert. 'Boots with the fur': T-Pain gets shoutout from Reba McEntire with Super Bowl look He gushed over the opportunity to perform his hits to the adoring crowd, adding that he'd love to bring a variation of his popular "Wiscansin Fest" to the Florida capital. Days after the concert, organizers told the Tallahassee Democrat, part of the USA TODAY Network, that there were talks about making this a reality.

Why Isn't Heidi Klum on ‘America's Got Talent' Season 20? What We Know About Judges' Table Switch-Up!

Heidi Klum has spent years as a beloved judge on America's Got Talent – but in season 20, there was a casting shakeup! Life & Style rounds up what we know so far about Heidi's departure from the judges' table. While fans may be disappointed that they will no longer see the bubbly judge on AGT, she appears to have left for an exciting reason! She announced her return as host for the upcoming season of Project Runway, which is set to premiere on July 31, 2025. Meanwhile, season 20 of AGT is expected to air its final live show in mid-August 2025. Heidi previously hosted 16 seasons of the popular fashion competition, which highlights amateur stylists as they compete for a cash prize and a mentorship from a major brand. Despite leaving the show in 2018, Heidi revealed that coming back as host has felt like 'coming home.' 'I can do it with my eyes closed, even though I'm judging clothes, so I have to have my eyes open, but I can do it with my eyes closed,' she joked to People in May 2025. 'I just love fashion so much, and I love how interested they are and how they're champing at the bit to get a spot in the fashion industry. So, it's so fun to give them a platform to show what they can do.' Spice Girls alum Mel B – who previously left the show in 2019 – made her own grand return to the judge's table in season 20. 'I'm beyond thrilled to be back at AGT,' she shared in a March 2025 interview with People. 'Not only is it the 20th anniversary of the show, but it's also a real homecoming for me, and I couldn't be happier or more excited to be back.' "So fasten your seatbelts, everyone, because I'm here, and I'm going to stir things up and be my usual loud, proud, Scary Spice self," she added at the time. "This season is going to be unmissable!" Aside from Mel B, comedian Howie Mandel, Modern Family actress Sofía Vergara and AGT executive producer Simon Cowell will serve as the other three judges. Simon, who also helped create the show, said it was 'absolutely brilliant' that the show was coming back for its 20th season. 'Over the years, we have seen some amazing acts and met some truly incredible people. It's true that two or three minutes can change your life,' Simon said earlier this year. 'Now, as always, I am really excited to meet the contestants this year.' The Griselda actress told NBC Insider that she was a little bit 'nervous' about Heidi's departure because they'd been on the show together for so long. However, she immediately formed a bond with Mel B. "It's crazy because we just fit in together,' she said at the time. 'It was, like, wonderful.' Season 20 of AGT premiered on May 27, 2025. Fans can catch new episodes on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC, or watch it streaming the next day on Peacock.
