One homeowner has shown off her haul proving that you don't need a huge budget to transform your living space. 3 B&M's homeware is being praised for how chic it looks Credit: Alamy 3 A woman shared a video on TikTok showing off her latest haul Credit: tiktok/@reynoldsresidence It seems B&M is stepping up its game, offering chic pieces that give that modern aesthetic touch to your home. The homeowner, who is known as 'reynoldsresidence' on TikTok, shared her top picks she found at her local B&M store. She managed to get her hands on a small, ribbed candle in a speckled cup, perfect for adding a touch of elegance to shelves or coffee tables. She also discovered a wonderfully soft throw, priced at just a tenner, that "honestly feels like cashmere." Its two-tone, wave design makes it a versatile piece for draping over a sofa or adding comfort to a bedroom. Another standout find was a small woven basket, a mere £4, which she plans to use for flannels in her new bathroom. She also raved about a textured, cement-like decor piece for £5, suggesting it's ideal for holding a small candle and praising its "rugged and kind of neutral vibes." Candles and diffusers were clearly a focus, with the TikToker picking up a ceramic jar candle for £5, noting its "luxury on a budget" feel, and a glass candle and matching diffuser with striking white and brown stripes, each just £4. However, the "piece de resistance" of her haul was a statement lamp, costing £20. The lamp, with its neutral shade, textured base, and waved design, perfectly fit the bill. I restored a tatty £80 sofa I got on Facebook - trolls say it looked better before but they need to trust the process Shared on 5 June, the video from @reynoldsresidence has already amassed over 264,800 views and 96 comments as many people rush to share their thoughts. One wrote: 'There's bits in here that will give the expensive vibe and bits that shout B&M. 'The blanket and the basket shout B&M. 'No expensive house would have a star shaped basket or a pattern on the blanket. Plus that label on the candle shouts B&M.' A second added: 'Everything looks lovely! Not everyone can afford Zara.' 3 Loved that it looked similar to the Zara Home collection Credit: tiktok/@reynoldsresidence And a third commented: 'Loved the haul, definitely taking a look in my B&M tomorrow.' B&M has just dropped its new "Quiet Luxury" homeware range, and it includes a highly anticipated Stanley cup dupe among other chic finds. Perfect for kitting out your kitchen or grabbing stylish essentials for days in the office, the range offers sophisticated designs at budget-friendly prices. You can pick up a lowball glass with a 3D pink bow in the base for just £3. To complete the look, a set of six glass drinking straws, also featuring a bow detail and coming with a cleaning brush, is available for the same price. For those on the go, a glass travel mug with a bow pattern, reminiscent of the trendy Stanley cups, can be yours for just £3.

On Tuesday, as the house marked 110 years of its haute couture — a century and more of Coco Chanel's revolution in how women dress — it recreated its atelier inside the freshly restored Grand Palais, turning intimacy into spectacle for a nature-drenched show at Paris Couture Week .

NAUTILUS Episode 3 Sneak Peek Clip: Humility Makes Plans

On the next episode of AMC/AMC+'s Nautilus, 'What Lies Beneath,' we learn more about Georgia Flood's Humility Lucas and her ambitions. As an interloper on Nemo's (Shazad Latif) crew, filling in the corners of her story is key to understanding why she's so determined to stay on board the Nautilus. RELATED: TV Review: Nautilus Series Premiere The sneak peek clip below flashes back to a younger Humility, trapped in an engagement and herded by society towards a future she cannot abide. In the close quarters of a carriage, she proposes a plan to the curiously agreeable White Rajah (Richard E. Grant). He fleshes out the particulars of her travels as they approach his residence. Image Credit: Courtesy of AMC/AMC+ Nautilus, 'What Lies Beneath' As little as we know about Humility Lucas, we know even less about this White Rajah besides the fact that his name conjures images of the worst aspects of the British presence in South Asia. His home is luxurious, and his guests have servants assigned to see to their needs. In the clip, Humility has a conversation with a servant girl named Amalmus. Not sure how someone named Humility gets to comment on how funny anyone's name is, but it seems to build a rapport. Image Credit: Courtesy of AMC/AMC+ Real life catches up with Humility just as she and the White Rajah are about to go in for dinner. Accompanied by soldiers, Loti (Céline Menville) bursts in. Looks like she's more than Humility's accomplice. Possibly a governess? Or jailer? Diamonds, Dynasties and Drama: Marie Antoinette's Smuggled Pink Diamond Resurfaces, Heads to Christie's Auction

Christie's forthcoming 'Magnificent Jewels' auction will feature a bevy of historic pieces, including a diamond once owned by Marie Antoinette. The live auction will take place on June 17 at New York City's Rockefeller Center and feature the Marie-Thérèse Pink Diamond. The purple-pink modified kite brilliant-cut diamond featuring 10.38 carats holds an estimated value between $3 million to $5 million. The piece is believed to date to the mid-18th century, per Christie's, and holds with it storied lore regarding its past owners. More from WWD The 'World's Most Complicated Wristwatch' by Patek Philippe in 1989 Leads Christie's 'Exceptional Watches' Auction With an Estimated Value of Up to $1.4M Former Hermès Americas CEO Robert Chavez Details the Future of Luxury at LEF Abraham Lincoln Memorabilia Auction Racks Up $7.9 Million According to Christie's, Marie Antoinette trusted her most valuable jewels with her faithful coiffeur on the night before her failed escape from Paris in 1791, in the hope of retrieving them one day. Unable to escape the ongoing revolution, Marie Antoinette never saw her jewels again. The pieces from the Queen of France's famous collection were passed down to her only surviving child, Duchess Marie-Thérèse de Angoulême, and then to her niece, Duchess Marie-Thérèse de Chambord. While details remain unclear, it is believed the Marie-Thérèse Pink Diamond was part of the inheritance. After generations, per Christie's, a will identified the diamond's second known owner: Queen Maria Theresa of Bavaria. The ring was referred to as 'a pink solitaire diamond from Aunt Chambord.' The jewel was presented in a velvet case with a hat pin featuring the Austrian Imperial Warrant, most likely dating back to 1868, which reflects the piece's imperial legacy. In 1996 Geneva, the jewel was offered by a member of a European royal family and has remained out of public view until now, per Christie's. The jewel was reimagined by Parisian jeweler Joel Arthur Rosenthal and set into a ring for a contemporary design. Other pieces featured in the auction include The Blue Belle sapphire and diamond necklace, which leads the auction with an estimated value of between $8 million and $12 million and the Suzanne Belperron Star Sapphire and Sapphire 'Plastron' Necklace (estimated value $250,000 to $350,000).
