Redmi Note 14 SE 5G is coming, main specs already officially revealed
Vlad, 24 July 2025 While we wait for the Redmi Note 15 series, the Xiaomi sub-brand has a surprise almost ready to go: the Redmi Note 14 SE 5G. This model will be launching in India on July 28, as a new Flipkart microsite reveals. It's billed to arrive with "killer specs" and a "killer price". Spec-wise, the microsite has confirmed a screen with 120 Hz refresh rate, 2,100-nit peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top, as well as an embedded fingerprint sensor. The device's dual stereo speakers promise 300% louder volume (not sure compared to what, though) and Dolby Atmos support. The handset's main camera will have 50 MP resolution and is using Sony's Lytia LYT-600 sensor with OIS for "superior low-light captures". The Redmi Note 14 SE 5G is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 7025 Ultra SoC, and it has a 5,110 mAh battery. Now, if you're confused by all of these specs (no others have been officially revealed yet), you're not alone - everything here perfectly matches what the non-SE Redmi Note 14 already offers in India, and that device launched way back in December. The OnePlus Pad Lite has officially launched, bringing a budget-friendly device with useful features, a bright display and a battery that is built to last all day. Aimed at students, casual users and professionals who need a reliable tablet, this device is set to go on sale from 1 August. OnePlus Pad Lite launched in India with Helio G100 chip and Android 15(OnePlus) Performance and features packed into a slim design The OnePlus Pad Lite features an 11-inch full HD plus LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, offering a responsive viewing experience. The device includes quad speakers with Hi-Res Audio certification, a 5MP front camera for video calls, and a 5MP rear camera. For connectivity, it offers optional 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB Type C port. The audio section also supports advanced codecs such as aptX HD and LDAC. What sets the Pad Lite apart is its massive 9340mAh battery that supports 33W SuperVOOC fast charging. Users can unlock the device using facial recognition, adding to the ease of use. Pricing starts at ₹15,999 for the 6GB RAM Wi-Fi variant and ₹17,999 for the 8GB RAM LTE model. Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 beats the Dimensity 9500 in CPU clock speed
Yesterday we heard that MediaTek's upcoming Dimensity 9500 SoC's CPU would go past the 4 GHz threshold for the first time in the company's history, and today we have news about its main competitor. The Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, due to be unveiled in late September, is now rumored to hit 4.6 GHz for its regular model, and a whopping 4.74 GHz in the "for Galaxy" higher-bin iteration that Samsung will be using in at least some of the Galaxy S26 devices next year. The SoC's GPU is rumored to be clocked at up to 1.2 GHz, and its AnTuTu score, even in the tamer, generally available iteration (not the Samsung special), is rumored to be over 4 million. Qualcomm will keep using its custom Oryon cores in the second generation of the Elite, and the SoC will be made on TSMC's N3p 3nm process.
