‘F1' beats ‘World War Z' to become Brad Pitt's highest-grossing film, earns $545.6 million globally
Hollywood star Brad Pitt's Formula One-themed drama F1has just set a new box office record for the actor. The Joseph Kosinski-directed film has become the highest-grossing film in Pitt's career. The film has earned $545.6 million at the global box office, overtaking Pitt's 2013 zombie apocalypse film World War Z, which earned $540 million. This is only the second time Pitt has crossed the $500 million threshold in his career, a notable milestone given his selective approach to large-scale franchise films. Some of his other box office hits are Mr and Mrs Smith ($487m), Ocean's Eleven ($450m) and Once Upon a Hollywood ($377m). Interestingly, this milestone comes just days after F1 became Apple Studios' most profitable theatrical film, outperforming the studio's previous releases, including Napoleon ($223 million) and Killers of the Flower Moon ($158 million). The film was made at a reported production budget of $300 million. The film opened in late June with a $146 million global debut and has maintained momentum despite strong summer competition. Its premium screen rollout and strong overseas response, especially in racing-obsessed markets, helped drive box office success. F1 follows a former Formula One driver, Pitt's Sonny Hayes, who is brought back by his former teammate, Ruben Cervantes (Javier Bardem), to help turn around the struggling APX GP team. His task is to guide the team's young and outspoken rookie, Joshua Pearce, played by Damson Idris. The film explores Hayes's return to racing, the pressure of mentorship, and the internal politics of a struggling team.

TV fans can finally binge ‘unmissable' crime drama on free UK streamer
Some might say there are too many good shows to watch. Not us, we love binging each watercooler drama or so-bad-it's-good TV show. Over on Channel 4, the cup of good dramas on offer is starting to run over – and they've now added a new one to the roster with Classified. The French-Canadian spy thriller has arrived on the platform in its entirety, with all 10 episodes up just in time for a weekend with weather that's looking hit-and-miss. With a premise that will appeal to anyone missing The Americans or last year's sleeper hit Mr and Mrs Smith, Classified plays with the work/life balance of a life in espionage. The ten-parter stars Mélissa Désormeaux-Poulin and Patrick Labbé as Rachel and Émile, two happily loved up agents with a couple of kids to boot. Titled Classé Secret in Quebec, the family's happy domestic life is disrupted when there's a shooting near Montreal's American Consulate which exposes an undercover CIA operation. Émile is then tasked with rooting out the CIA double agent in their organisation and suspicions begin to point to his own wife being the culprit… There's also a second season of the show, with 10 other episodes, which are not yet available in the UK. But the first season of Classified is now available to stream for free on Channel 4 as part of the platform's Walter Presents offshoot. Walter Presenters launched back in 2016, it is an on-demand platform with a selection of award-winning foreign-language dramas, hand-picked by Walter Iuzzolino. What's more, the show currently has a 7.9 rating out of 10 on IMDb, with many glowing reviews from fans on Google. The Friends star was recently spotted with new man Jim Curtis on the 4th of July Brad Pitt reportedly 'couldn't be more pleased' for Jennifer Aniston and her new relationship with hypnotist and wellness coach Jim Curtis. Over the 4th of July weekend, the Friends icon, who hasn't publicly dated anyone since her 2018 divorce from Justin Theroux, was spotted with Jim and her longtime friends Jason Bateman and Amanda Anka. After Jennifer, 56, went public with her new beau, 50, it has been said that ex-partner Brad is delighted for her. The Morning Show actress and Brad were once Hollywood's it couple when they were together 20 years ago. The former couple were introduced by their managers and secretly dated before marrying in 2000. Their marriage came to an end in 2005, with Brad moving on with his Mr and Mrs Smith co-star, Angelina Jolie. Meanwhile, Jennifer moved on with Justin but they divorced in 2018. Seven years later, the actress found love again with wellness guru Jim. According to a close friend of Brad, 61, he is over the moon about Jen's new relationship. "Brad couldn't be more pleased that Jen has found love with this guy who seems so tuned into her," they claimed. Speaking to MailOnline, they added: "His marriage ended – with a bang and a whimper - two decades ago, but he never lost his affection for her. The divorce settlement came after an eight-year court battle involving the custody of their six children and a shared French winery.
