What are the Top 10 most streamed shows of 2025, so far? See list

The numbers for the most-streamed shows of the year, at least so far, are in. Nielsen, a global market research firm, has recently revealed which shows have captured the hearts, minds and attention of American audiences from January through June 2025, including where they rank. With over 25 billion minutes viewed so far this year, beloved Disney+ series "Bluey" takes the No. 1 slot. "Bluey" was also the most-streamed show of 2024. "Through the first half of 2025, streaming is being dominated by the animated import from Australia, Disney+'s 'Bluey,'" Nielsen said in a news release. "(Bluey's) 154 episodes continue to be a sensation for kids, parents and Disney alike." According to the Hollywood Reporter, the Australian children's show has appeared on Nielsen's streaming ratings, either on the overall list or on the Top 10 acquired series for 143 straight weeks, dating back to October 2022, about three years after its debut in the U.S. Children-focused programming like "Bluey" frequently tops rankings like this one because families, specifically children, watch episodes over and over again, according to the Hollywood Reporter. But the programming featured in Nielsen's newest report is not all children's shows, with medical drama "Grey's Anatomy," Netflix's "Squid Game," among others, cracking the Top 10. What other shows made the Top 10? See the list. 'Bluey' leads the pack, takes No. 1 slot "Bluey" leads the pack with 25.059 billion minutes viewed and is closely followed by medical drama "Grey's Anatomy" with 22.551 billion minutes viewed, then military police procedural show "NCIS," "Family Guy" and "Bob's Burgers" round out the Top 5. Four of the Top 10 most-streamed titles, including "Family Guy," "Bob's Burgers," "SpongeBob SquarePants" and "Bluey" fell into the animation category. Another four fell into the procedural TV series category, which includes "Grey's Anatomy," "NCIS, "The Rookie" and "Law & Order: SVU". The sitcom "Big Bang Theory" and "Squid Game," a South Korean dystopian survival thriller, were the two standalones featured in the Top 10. According to Nielsen, "Squid Game," a series with a smaller library of episodes, punched above its weight, accruing over 15 billion viewing minutes across just 22 total episodes. The Netflix show managed to secure the No. 9 overall spot. When do new 'Bluey' episodes come out? Release date, time, where to watch Nielsen's Top 10 most-streamed shows include: All of the figures collected for Nielsen's snapshot were collected from Dec. 29, 2024, through June 28, 2025, and ranked on total viewing minutes by "persons 2+" Minutes are used as a comparative metric because "it's the great equalizer across dissimilar program categories and ultimately shows how consumers are spending their viewing time," according to Nielsen. The data used was sourced through Nielsen Streaming Content Ratings, which is Nielsen's streaming program measurement service that provides program and episode-level viewing metrics across non-linear TV viewing sources with audience breakouts. NCIS: Origins Season 2: Release date speculation, cast and plot details – Everything we know so far

By Aman Shukla Published on July 14, 2025, 20:00 IST Last updated July 14, 2025, 16:08 IST Hey, NCIS fans! If you're anything like us, you're still reeling from that NCIS: Origins Season 1 finale and itching to know what's next for young Leroy Jethro Gibbs. The prequel, set in the gritty '90s at Camp Pendleton, hooked us with its deep dive into Gibbs' early days as a rookie agent. With Season 2 officially greenlit by CBS, let's unpack everything we know about the release date, cast, plot twists, and more. Grab a coffee, and let's chat about what's coming! NCIS: Origins Season 2 Premiere Date Mark your calendars: NCIS: Origins Season 2 is hitting CBS on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 9 p.m. ET/PT, as reported by Parade. That's right, the date's locked in. The show's moving to Tuesdays, joining the NCIS lineup for a killer night of drama. If you're more of a streamer, episodes will drop on Paramount+ the day after they air. Perfect for those late-night binges or catching up on the go. Expected Cast for NCIS: Origins Season 2 The core cast of NCIS: Origins is expected to return for Season 2, barring any major plot twists in the Season 1 finale. Here's a look at the key players likely to reprise their roles: Austin Stowell as Leroy Jethro Gibbs Kyle Schmid as Mike Franks Mariel Molino as Special Agent Cecilia 'Lala' Dominguez Tyla Abercrumbie as Mary Jo Hayes Diany Rodriguez as Vera Strickland Caleb Foote as Bernard 'Randy' Randolf Mark Harmon as Narrator (Older Gibbs) Kathleen Kenny as Diane There's also talk on X about new characters or even young versions of NCIS legends like Ducky. Nothing's confirmed, but wouldn't that be cool? We might also see Patrick Fischler back as Agent Wheeler, stirring the pot as always. NCIS: Origins Season 2 Potential Plot Details NCIS: Origins isn't your typical NCIS case-of-the-week show. It's got this intense, emotional vibe that digs into Gibbs' past, and Season 2 sounds like it's doubling down on that. The Season 1 finale left us hanging with Lala's accident and Gibbs facing off with Pedro Hernandez's killer. My heart was racing! Here's what I think we're in for: Gibbs' Love Life : Diane's entrance is a big deal. We know from NCIS that she becomes Gibbs' second wife, but their story won't be all roses. The showrunners promised to stay true to the original series, so we are curious how they'll handle this romance. : Diane's entrance is a big deal. Lala's Cliffhanger : That car crash had me yelling at my TV. Is Lala okay? Her connection with Gibbs feels so personal, and we are betting Season 2 will explore how it changes him. : That car crash had me yelling at my TV. Is Lala okay? Team Drama : Operation Sundown left the team shaken, and Randy's talk of wanting a desk job could shift things. Plus, Wheeler's scheming might cause more trouble. : Operation Sundown left the team shaken, and Randy's talk of wanting a desk job could shift things. Plus, Wheeler's scheming might cause more trouble. Ties to NCIS History: We are hoping for more nods to Gibbs' family tragedy or even early hints of characters we know from the main series. The show's great at weaving in those connections without feeling forced. The showrunners, Gina Lucita Monreal and David J. North, said in a TV Line interview that they've got a lot of room to play with Gibbs' story. Ahmedabad Plane Crash Aman Shukla is a post-graduate in mass communication .
