Dog owner taught her pooches to play card game Uno - Jordan News
Dog owner taught her pooches to play card game Uno A TikTokker claimed to have taught her pooches to play Uno — showing off their apparent skills in a new video that's already viewed nearly 40 million times. اضافة اعلان In the clip, Haley Deecken plays the classic card game with her dogs, 10-year-old Dunkin, a Labrador retriever/pit bull mix and 2-year-old Splash, German shepherd/Australian shepherd/Labrador/husky mix, who appear to follow along with no problem. Deecken said she used short training sessions — utilizing their limited color vision to teach them how to play. 'I started with just two colors — blue and yellow — because those are the colors they can see best,' the New Yorker told People. 'I'd place most cards as the correct color, like four blue cards around a blue one in the middle, then one yellow to set them up for success. Every time they picked the blue card, they got a reward.' As the training went on, Deecken introduced more challenging colors to expand their skills — while limiting the sessions to about 15 minutes to make sure the dogs are focused and stay excited about the game. Deecken said it took seven or eight sessions before they understood. NYP

Clark 6 Influencers and celebrities often flock to the area, known as The Hamptons Cops were called to the Montauk Yacht Club, in New York, in the early hours of Tuesday. A 911 call was made by a man at around midnight 'reporting a woman unconscious on a boat', a statement from the Suffolk County Police Department said. They added: 'Good Samaritans attempted to perform CPR on the woman.' However, police said Martha was 'pronounced dead on the boat by first responders'. Officers said earlier: 'The preliminary investigation and exam were inconclusive regarding the cause of death, which will be determined by an autopsy.' In a later update, Suffolk County Police Department said an autopsy had been conducted and that it "did not show evidence of violence and her final cause of death is pending further examination". Boaters in the area told how they heard screams coming from the yacht, named Ripple, when Carlow native Martha's body was found. And a member of the exclusive Long Island yacht club said the vessel's owner roared 'that's my girlfriend' as he begged for help. Homicide detectives are among the law enforcement agencies involved in the investigation. Martha, the founder of fashion label East x East, regularly posted about her luxury lifestyle on social media, including videos travelling on private jets and helicopters. 'LOVELY WOMAN' And an Irish pal said friends are devastated by her shock death. He told The Irish Sun: 'She was a lovely woman, very driven to be successful in business. 'I hadn't seen her in a few years since moving home from the US but she was living a very glamorous lifestyle in New York. 'She was clever and knew what she was doing with her posts on social media. She knew what she wanted and was committed to attainting it. It's very sad.' 'DEVASTATING LOSS' The Department of Foreign Affairs is aware of the case and is providing consular assistance. And Taoiseach Micheal Martin said the death is an 'absolutely devastating blow for the family', calling Martha 'a young, beautiful, very talented, creative woman'. The Fianna Fail leader added: 'Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. We can't comment any further other than to say it's a devastating loss for the family and the community in Carlow.' Carlow Sinn Fein councillor Jim Deane told how 'people are just shocked at the news locally'. 'ALWAYS SMILING' He added: 'It's such a sad thing to hear that a young vibrant woman who had the world at her feet has died.' FF councillor Andrea Dalton added: 'I know the community of Carlow will rally around Martha's family at this difficult time.' A member of the Montauk Yacht Club remembered Martha fondly. They said: 'She was well known in the community. She was very friendly. Always smiling.' BUSINESS PARTNER'S TRIBUTE Business partner Dylan Grace tonight paid a heartbreaking Instagram tribute to Martha. He wrote: 'We dreamed big together, laughed harder than anyone else could understand, and built so much from nothing. "I'm truly blessed and grateful to have had you in my life. "Love you so much Mar. Fly high girl." Influencers and celebrities often flock to the area, especially in the summer months. CELEB HAUNT The Montauk Yacht Club offers a number of rooms, which can cost around $1,500 in the summer. It also boasts high-end restaurants and Montauk's only padel courts. A spokesperson said they are 'are saddened to learn of the tragic incident that took place'. They added: 'Our team is co-operating with law enforcement in their ongoing investigation and remains committed to the safety and well-being of our guests and staff.' GLAM LIFESTYLE Tragic Martha, a self-professed entrepreneur and brand growth consultant, was living a glamorous lifestyle in New York. She took rides on helicopters and private jets, videos posted on her TikTok account reveal. She took a Falcon jet to Nashville with pals for a concert in 2021, telling of her '#milehighclub' life in the captions. And a clip from last year gave an insight into a luxury hol to the Caribbean island of Saint Barts. FASHION BRAND SUCCESS Her fashion brand, East x East, has been trading almost four years, according to her LinkedIn profile. And just weeks before her death, she reflected on the fashion brand's success. She showed off the pop-up shop that she had launched in Montauk, adding: 'Goals Achieved.' In the video, her final TikTok post, she showed off clothing that was neatly hung on rails. FINAL POST Martha, who got a degree and a master's from UCD, was also the founder of Duper, an affordable unisex fashion brand. Last year she spoke to The Irish Independent about life in New York, describing herself as 'a small town girl who needed to get out to achieve her big dreams'. She said: 'I always knew I wanted to be successful, that I was money driven, business driven and that fashion is a tough industry and it would be a slow road. 'I made friends in the institute and at college and a new group in New York, but I still have all my Carlow friends. They are still my crew. After gaining experience in the industry, my entrepreneurial spirit and passion for fashion led me to launch my own ventures. 'PASSION FOR FASHION' 'East x East is my resortwear brand, borne out of a desire to merge my love for travel with my marketing expertise.' In the chat, Martha describes life in New York as a 'whirlwind of activity'. She said: 'Sometimes I have to work very late, as I could be chatting to manufacturers at all hours. 'I travel a lot, I take the time to play hard as well as work hard but work is constantly on my mind. 'I drink alcohol but also in moderation. I honestly think people in New York drink more than Ireland, that was one of the culture shocks I got. Back home no one has money to go out — people here drop $150 without a thought.' She added: 'I love Carlow, I miss it so much, but now that I work for myself I can go home for a month and my parents and my friends are always coming out to see me.' 6 Police are still trying to figure out how Martha, 33, died Credit: Social Media Collect 6 The preliminary examination into the cause of her death was 'inconclusive' Credit: Social Media Collect

Michael Jackson's dirty stage sock sells for nearly $9K at French auction - Jordan News
Michael Jackson's dirty stage sock sells for nearly $9K at French auction A dirty white sock once worn by the King of Pop has moonwalked its way back into the spotlight. اضافة اعلان The rhinestone-covered sock, worn by Michael Jackson during a 1997 show in the city of Nîmes, sold Wednesday for €7,688 — about $8,911 — at an auction house in southern France. The off-white stained sock, originally white and studded with crystal rhinestones, was discovered by a technician backstage after Jackson's HIStory World Tour performance. The sock was then preserved in a frame for 28 years, according to a French auctioneer. 'It really is an exceptional object — even a cult one for Michael Jackson fans,' auctioneer Aurore Illy told AFP. The sock was worn during Jackson's tour, which hit 35 countries and included 82 shows. Footage from it shows him performing 'Billie Jean' in the sparkling footwear. Auctioneers had estimated the item to be between €3,000 and €4,000, but it nearly doubled expectations. Though Jackson's legacy remains controversial due to longstanding child molestation allegations — which he and his estate denied — the market for his memorabilia continues to thrive. A Macau casino shelled out $350,000 in 2009 for the glittery glove he wore during his first televised moonwalk in 1983. In 2023, a Paris buyer paid over $80,000 for a fedora Jackson wore before that same performance. Months later, a black-and-white leather jacket from his 1984 Pepsi ad sold for $306,000. Jackson died in 2009 at age 50 from a fatal drug overdose. NYP

Ghislaine Maxwell Reveals ‘100 Different People' Linked To Epstein Under Immunity Deal: Report
Last Updated: Ghislaine Maxwell answered questions about 100 people linked to Epstein during a two-day interrogation. Serving a 20-year sentence, she seeks clemency from President Trump. Ghislaine Maxwell's attorney for the disgraced socialite claimed that she answered questions from Justice Department officials about around '100 different people" connected to the late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, following a two-day interrogation led by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, where she was granted limited immunity. According to David Oscar Markus, his client, currently serving a 20-year sentence after being convicted in Manhattan of federal sex trafficking and conspiracy charges in December 2021, was 'asked about every possible thing you could imagine – everything." 'This was the first opportunity she's ever been given to answer questions about what happened," Markus added. 'The truth will come out about what happened with Epstein, and she's the person who's answering those questions." Blanche had 'every single question" answered during the sitdown, Maxwell's attorney also said, with the British-born convict declining to plead the Fifth Amendment, the New York Post reported. 'If she lies, they could charge her with lying," Markus noted. A reporter countered, 'But didn't they charge her with lying?" referencing the two perjury counts that were later dropped by the prosecution after her conviction. 'No one is above the law — and no lead is off-limits," Blanche posted on X Tuesday in announcing he would speak with Maxwell, the NYP reported. Maxwell, 63, is currently appealing her conviction and sentence, leading some legal observers to speculate that her cooperation may be an attempt to secure clemency from President Trump. Her attorney described the commander in chief Friday as 'the ultimate dealmaker" and claimed his client had 'been treated unfairly for the past five years" and 'didn't get a fair trial." 'We hope he exercises that power in a right and just way," Markus added. Trump, after landing in Glasgow, Scotland, told reporters that 'I don't know anything about the conversation" between Blanche and Maxwell because 'I haven't really been following it." 'This is no time to be talking about pardons," the president added after saying hours earlier while leaving the White House, that 'I haven't thought" about the idea. According to ABC News, Maxwell reportedly initiated the sitdowns with the DOJ and answered questions for roughly nine hours. The limited immunity granted to Maxwell protected her from having her statements used against her in future criminal proceedings, sources told the outlet. Proffer immunity is typically granted to individuals prosecutors want cooperation from in a criminal case. The Department of Justice, in 2022, questioned Maxwell's credibility, stating in court documents that she demonstrated a 'significant pattern of dishonest conduct" and refused to accept responsibility for her crimes. As per court documents, the prior year revealed that prosecutors never seriously entertained the prospect of offering the woman dubbed 'Epstein's madam" a plea agreement after the financier was found dead in his Manhattan jail cell while awaiting his federal trial on Aug. 10, 2019. Markus noted that Epstein's attorneys had been informed that 'no potential co-conspirators would be prosecuted" as part of his talks with government lawyers following his July 2019 arrest on sex trafficking charges. 'I don't think President Trump knows that the Justice Department took the position that that promise should not be upheld," he claimed. Former Attorney General Pam Bondi hinted in a February Fox News interview that federal investigation files on Epstein, including an alleged 'client list" of powerful associates, would be disclosed – but the release never materialised.
