Google Pixel Buds 2a full design, Pixel Watch 4 price fully revealed in fresh leak ahead of August 20 launch

August is a busy month for Google as the company is set to unveil a range of products, including the Pixel 10 flagship lineup. Now, a fresh round of leaks, courtesy of Android Headlines, has given us a closer look at two other major products — apart from the phones — planned for August 20, the Pixel Buds 2a and the Pixel Watch 4. Granted, much of the buzz has been around the Pixel 10 smartphones. The leaks confirm that Google's new earbuds and smartwatch are very much part of the event too. The latest development gives us a clear look at the Pixel Buds 2a design and a full pricing breakdown of the Pixel Watch 4 series. Here's everything you need to with the Pixel Buds 2a, these are expected to be the long-overdue successors to the Pixel Buds a-series, which launched back in 2021. Google doesn't usually refresh its earbuds' lineup as often as other brands, so a new model arriving after four years is quite a gap. Leaked renders show the Pixel Buds 2a in a new colour called Iris, a deep blue shade that'll be joined by other colour options like Strawberry and Fog Light. The design doesn't stray far from the typical Pixel Buds look, but the overall case and finish appear a bit more refined this time not a lot of official information yet about the hardware inside the Pixel Buds 2a, but better battery life and improved audio are naturally expected upgrades over the original a-series model. That said, these aren't to be confused with the Pixel Buds Pro or the newer Pixel Buds 2 Pro. In fact, a separate Moonstone colour leak is believed to be for the Buds 2 Pro model, not this one. Still, with Google often bundling earbuds as part of Pixel phone pre-orders in select markets like the UK and Europe, the Pixel Buds 2a could turn out to be a smart add-on for those eyeing the new Pixel 10 phones. Moving on to the Pixel Watch 4, the latest leak confirms its full pricing ahead of launch. The 41mm Wi-Fi model is expected to cost $349 (roughly Rs 30,500), while the LTE version will go for $399 (roughly Rs 34,900). For those wanting a larger screen, the 45mm variant will be available at $399 for Wi-Fi and $449 (roughly Rs 39,300) for terms of upgrades, the Pixel Watch 4 is expected to bring a new charging method that ditches the usual puck in favour of a cradle system that charges the watch from the side. This change could mean watch cases might not fit as snugly, but the benefit is faster charging. According to reports, the Pixel Watch 4 will be able to charge up to 50 per cent in just 15 minutes and 80 per cent in around 30 minutes — a solid improvement over its predecessor, which took much of the Pixel Watch 4 will also get a few extras, including six months of Fitbit Premium and one month of YouTube Premium. It's not a massive bundle, but it adds value, especially for users already in Google's tuned to India Today Tech for all the latest on Google's upcoming range of Pixel products.- Ends

Google Pixel Buds 2a official-looking image leaks

Google is unveiling the Pixel 10 family on August 20, alongside the Pixel Watch 4 and the Pixel Buds 2a. Today, the earbuds have been leaked in a new official-looking image. Unfortunately, no details about the Pixel Buds 2a have been outed alongside the render. Since they're part of the "a" series, they will of course be more affordable than the Pixel Buds 2 Pro, serving as the entry point for people into Google's earbud range. The color above will be called Iris, but the Pixel Buds 2a will also be available in a few other hues: Strawberry, Hazel, and Fog Light, according to a previous rumor. As you may expect, the Pixel Buds 2a will act as successors to the Pixel Buds A-Series, which came out all the way back in 2021. It was definitely time for a refresh. The new model should offer better battery life and sound than the old one. Source

Google Pixel 10 series images and details leak yet again

Following the massive Pixel leak from last week, Evan Blass is back with more images and even key specs for the whole Pixel 10 series. Google Pixel 10 series, alongside new Pixel Watch 4 and Buds The Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold will get a slightly larger 6.4' cover display, up from 6.3' on the previous generation. However, the main display will remain the same size at 8'. There are no details on the camera, other than to confirm that there will be three lenses on the rear. The hinge will be made from 'multi-alloy steel' with a high-strength aluminum alloy cover. Battery capacity is not listed, but it will be up to 72 hours (3 days) with Extreme Battery Saver. Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold (leaked details) Moving on, the Google Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL will stick with the current screen sizes, meaning 6.3' and 6.8', respectively. Similarly, the camera setup will feature a 50MP main and 48MP ultra-wide (with autofocus for macro shots). The tele camera is listed as "100x Pro Res Zoom", previous leaks showed a 48MP sensor. Video recording will feature an 8K @ 24/30fps mode. The battery will be able to last up to 100 hours with Extreme Battery Saver (that's just over 4 days). Google Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL (leaked details) The Google Pixel 10 will have a 6.3' display. It is listed as 'Actua' instead of 'Super Actua', which suggests that it's not an LTPO panel. There's no word on resolution, so it will probably stay at 1080p+ (the 6.3' Pro display has 1280p+ resolution). As previously reported, the vanilla Pixel will have a telephoto lens, although this leak doesn't confirm the resolution (just the 20x Pro Res Zoom). Previous leaks had the vanilla tele camera at 11MP. The main camera will have a 48MP sensor, while the ultra-wide will be downgraded to 13MP (down from 48MP). Google Pixel 10 (leaked details) All four phones will be powered by the Tensor G5, the first Tensor chip to be fabbed by TSMC instead of Samsung. Our current understanding is that the G5 will focus on improving efficiency over catching up to the Snapdragons and Dimensities in terms of performance (that will be a task for the G6). More images of the upcoming accessories Google has officially confirmed the launch date for the Pixel 10 series - they are coming on August 20. The event should include the Google Pixel Watch 4 and the Pixel Buds 2a, which you can see in the images above. Source

The next Made By Google event (better known as the Pixel launch) is set for August 20

Google will host its next Made by Google event on August 20, the company announced today. In a media invite, it promised the event would feature new Pixel phones, watches, buds "and more." It's hard to imagine what other product types might be covered by those last two words, but for those who watch the industry closely, this event is likely to see the launch of the Pixel 10 flagship phones, along with a Pixel Watch 4 and new Pixel Buds. It's easy to make that deduction, especially going by previous Made By Google events. At last year's hardware launch, Google announced the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, Pixel 9 Pro Fold, Pixel Watch 3 and Pixel Buds Pro 2. Between that and the company's invite, we can expect a refresh of nearly the entire Pixel line. As for what the "and more" bit could entail, recent rumors suggesting Google is working on a proper response to Apple's MagSafe tech dubbed Pixelsnap. Android manufactures have been slow to adopt the Qi2 wireless charging standard, but with the upcoming Pixel 10 it appears the company is working on a host of magnetic Qi2 accessories, including a new charging stand. As always, be sure to visit Engadget on the day of the event as we'll have a liveblog of the entire proceedings. Update, July 16 2025, 1:50PM ET: This story has been updated to include a list of devices we expect Google to unveil on August 20.
