Specially designed official ball for new 2025-26 QSL seasonThe Qatar Stars League announced that the official ball to be used during the new 2025-26 football season would be presented by Adidas (the official match ball partner). The ball has been designed in collaboration between the league and Adidas, which produced it specifically for the 2025-26 season, utilizing the latest technologies. The colours of the ball are inspired by the Qatari flag (Al Adham), and the gold colour represents the desert sands. This is the first collaboration of its kind with Adidas, which produces balls exclusively for the league.

QSL signs sponsorship deal with Artan Holding
QSL Doha In a new step towards continuing to develop commercial and marketing aspects, the Qatar Stars League (QSL) announced the signing of a sponsorship agreement with Artan Holding, a Qatari company with a diverse portfolio of leading businesses in the education, real estate, and industrial sectors. Since its inception, Artan Holding has played a pivotal and effective role in advancing Qatar's national agenda for social and economic progress. The agreement falls within the framework of joint efforts to leverage available expertise and capabilities, striving to achieve the best results for the benefit of both parties. QSL CEO Ballan applauds Negdar initiative success
Hani Taleb Ballan, CEO of Qatar Stars League (QSL) has applauded the great success achieved by the Negdar initiative, organized by QSL in partnership with Generation Amazing and Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) with the support of Ministry of Public Health. The initiative aims to promote a healthy lifestyle that enhances the role of sports in a healthy lifestyle. In remarks during the closing ceremony of the initiative's first edition, he said, 'We're very pleased with the outstanding participation witnessed in the initiative, the interaction of parents and the results, which will undoubtedly have an impact in the future by increased participation and contribution to the spread of a healthy lifestyle among young children and combating obesity.' He added, 'Over the past period, efforts have been combined to ensure the success of the initiative and to change the lifestyle and behaviour of children, particularly in the targeted age group of 10 to 15 years. 'We thank all our partners in the initiative. We believe that Negdar can change the lifestyle and approach of this age group by contributing towards building a stronger, healthier and more active generation.' At the ceremony, certificates were presented to the participants, supporters and stakeholders who played a prominent role in this edition. It may be noted that Negdar, which won the 'Football For All' Award at the Qatar Football Association 2024-2025 Awards, aims to inspire and motivate children to adopt healthier and more active lifestyles using football as a main tool.

Al Duhail part ways with coach Galtier after contract ends
Tribune News Network Doha Al Duhail have parted ways with French coach Christophe Galtier following the expiration of his contract, the Qatar Stars League (QSL) club announced on Tuesday. The former Paris Saint-Germain coach joined Al Duhail in October 2023, replacing Argentine tactician Hernan Crespo. 'The management of Al Duhail Sports Club extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to the technical director of the first football team, Mr. Christophe Galtier, and his assistant staff, following the end of his contract with the club. We wish them all the best in their next endeavors,' Al Duhail said in a statement on X. Al Duhail ended the season without a trophy, finishing as runners-up in both the QSL and the Qatar Cup, with Al Sadd claiming both titles. They were also eliminated from the Amir Cup at the quarter-final stage after a loss to Al Rayyan.
