Selena Gomez introduces Rare Eau de Parfum as Rare Beauty's first fine fragrance

Selena Gomez is bringing her signature vision of confidence, comfort and emotional connection to the world of fragrance. On August 7, the Rare Beauty founder will launch Rare Eau de Parfum, the brand's first fine fragrance, available at and select global retailers. The debut marks a new chapter for Rare Beauty, building on the success of its body-care line and expanding its universe into scent. Described as 'warm and decadent with a touch of spice,' the scent opens with notes of caramel, pistachio, and pink pepper, transitions into a heart of vanilla, ginger, and cocoa, and finishes with a drydown of sandalwood, tonka bean, and skin musks. The fragrance is designed to evolve over 12 hours, offering a balance of comforting familiarity and unexpected depth. Gomez said she 'wanted to create a scent that could evolve with the moment,' adding that it transitions effortlessly 'from quiet mornings at home to a night out with my friends.' Designed with accessibility in mind, the fragrance bottle was developed in collaboration with hand therapists to feature an ergonomic pump for ease of use. This design reflects Gomez's long-standing focus on inclusive, user-friendly beauty tools. Rare Eau de Parfum will also be available with four fragrance layering balms: Amber Vanilla, Floral Peony Blossom, Fresh Bergamot, and Woody Oak. These are designed to personalize the scent experience and allow wearers to adapt the fragrance throughout the day. Rare Beauty is known for its vegan, cruelty-free formulations and mission-driven philosophy. As part of the launch, the brand is pledging 1% of global fragrance sales to the Rare Impact Fund, which supports youth mental health initiatives. Priced at $75 for a 50 mL bottle, Rare Eau de Parfum will be offered worldwide starting this August through and Sephora.

Selena Gomez reveals why she wants ‘biscuits and gravy' at her wedding

Singer-actress Selena Gomez, who is engaged to record producer Benny Blanco, shared the unusual dessert that she wants to eat on her wedding day. Gomez said in a Rare Beauty TikTok video: 'Whenever that day comes, I do know I don't want a big cake. My preferred dessert I think would be biscuits and gravy. My nana's biscuits and gravy. That sounds like dessert to me.' Along with this, Gomez would still like to have a small cake as a memento of the occasion, reports Gomez, who began dating Blanco in 2023, shared: 'I think I want a mini one for just us that we can freeze.' Meanwhile, Gomez previously shared that she'd love to have children one day. The actress announced her engagement to Blanco in 2024, and Selena would love to raise children with him in the future. Gomez, who previously revealed that she isn't able to carry her own children, said on the Jay Shetty Podcast: 'I don't know what will happen, obviously, but I love children. I have an 11-year-old sister that I absolutely adore. I love making (children) laugh; they're just so sweet. So absolutely, when that day comes, I'm so excited for it.' Blanco observed that Gomez is the 'ultimate level of shy'. However, the producer noted that her demeanour changes when she's around children. The 37-year-old star, who has previously worked with Justin Bieber and The Weeknd, two of Gomez's former boyfriends, said: 'When she walks into a room, her main goal is to disappear into the crowd. My mom is very similar, (she) and my mom are very similar. 'They'll wait and say like one thing throughout the night that winds up being the most poignant or funny thing of the night. But I'm gonna have diarrhoea of the mouth talking to everyone. Whenever there's kids at a place it's the only time I see her do that. She immediately goes to the kids and has these conversations for hours with the kids.' Meanwhile, Selena celebrated her birthday with a special milestone. Recently, the actress-singer took to her Instagram, and shared a picture of herself. In the picture, she can be seen holding her birthday cake. She also penned a long note in the caption, as she shared how her mental health initiative has touched many lives. She wrote, '5 years ago today, on my birthday, we launched the Rare Impact Fund with a simple goal: to help more young people around the world feel seen, supported, and cared for. Mental health has always been deeply personal to me, and I wanted to build something that could create lasting change. Since then, thanks to your support, we've reached over 2 million young people and supported 30 incredible organizations around the globe.' She further mentioned, 'And this is just the beginning. To celebrate this milestone (and my birthday), we just launched the Rare Impact Fund Giving Circle, where people can come together, pool their resources, and support organizations doing life-changing work.' Selena Gomez Celebrates 33rd Birthday with Launch of Rare Impact Fund's Giving Circle (Exclusive)

Selena Gomez is continuing to make an impact as she celebrates another year around the sun. On July 22 the Only Murders in the Building star — who turned 33 on Tuesday — marked the launch of the Rare Impact Fund's Giving Circle (in partnership with Dollar Donation Club), which was "built to democratize giving and foster purpose-driven community," according to a release. Starting at $1 a month, members can receive monthly updates from the Fund's nonprofit partners, curated mental health content and ways to engage with the Rare Impact Fund community, adds the release. "When we started the Rare Impact Fund, we wanted to build a community that could make a real difference," Gomez — who founded Rare Beauty in 2020 — tells PEOPLE exclusively in a statement. "Five years in, I'm so proud of the impact we've all made together and excited for The Giving Circle and other initiatives we are planning.' The Rare Impact Fund recently hosted its first-ever global Grantee Capacity Building Workshop, bringing together nonprofit partners for hands-on programming focused on storytelling, fundraising and more. According to Rare Beauty, the Rare Impact Fund has mobilized over $20 million and supported 30 nonprofit organizations across five continents since its inception, reaching more than 2.2 million young people annually. Last year on World Mental Health Day, Gomez opened up to PEOPLE about advocating for increased access to mental health services and education around the world for young people. "We created the Rare Impact Fund before we created a single product, and it's so rewarding to see it being a resource for people when they actually come to our community and seek help," she said. "I'm just really grateful. This is why I do it." Read the original article on People
