Driving the Next Evolution in Digital Commerce Video commerce is no longer optional—it's the future of digital sales. Consumer behaviors are changing fast, with shoppers demanding instant, immersive, and interactive experiences that static e-commerce simply can't match. Brands leveraging video commerce have seen up to a 246% increase in conversions, 130% increase in engagement time, a 38% increase in repeat purchases, and a 33% reduction in product returns. (Firework) "Brands today are under pressure to deliver richer, faster, and more personalized experiences. With the video commerce market expected to surge from $695 billion today to $3.7 trillion by 2029 (CAGR 32%), this partnership positions brands to capitalize on the most important trend shaping the future of retail and commerce. Antiques Roadshow expert stunned as guest refuses to sell 'priceless' painting
A guest on stunned viewers and expert Rupert Maas after refusing to sell a portrait believed to be among the most valuable paintings ever featured on the show. The artwork, a striking portrait by Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema, was presented during a special episode filmed at Arley Hall in Cheshire. The painting depicts Leopold Lowenstam, a 19th-century engraver and close friend of the artist. It was brought to the show by Lowenstam's great-great-grandson, who shared its extraordinary history. Speaking to Rupert, he explained: 'He and the artist were close friends, and my great-great-grandmother was governess to Alma-Tadema's children. The portrait was a wedding gift in 1883 and shown at the Royal Academy.' Rupert, clearly impressed, praised the work as exceptional. 'Alma-Tadema was a Neoclassical painter,' he said. 'He is the most valuable Victorian artist today.' He explained the artist's commercial legacy: 'One of his paintings recently sold for £27.4 million in New York. That's the highest price paid for a Victorian painting.' While this piece was smaller, Rupert said its value could still be 'substantial.' Examining the portrait, Rupert noted: 'This is very, very good. It shows a more painterly side of Alma-Tadema, compared to his famous scenes of marble benches and togas.' He added: 'This could be one of the best paintings we've ever seen on Antiques Roadshow. It's a remarkable work.' However, when it came to the subject of selling the piece, the guest made his stance clear. Despite the potential for a life-changing valuation, the owner told Rupert he had no intention of selling. The painting had been in the family for generations, passed down through descendants since it was first gifted as a wedding present. For the guest, its personal value far outweighed any financial offer. He said simply: 'It means too much to us. It's part of our family's story.' Audience members watching the episode expressed amazement at both the portrait's history and the guest's emotional attachment. One viewer wrote on social media: 'Incredible to see something of such value. I'd be tempted to sell, but I admire his decision to keep it.' Another posted: 'That portrait deserves to be in a museum – absolutely breathtaking.' Since filming, the portrait has undergone expert restoration and is due to be displayed at Leighton House in West London. The exhibition will give the public a chance to view a painting once hidden away in a private home and now recognised as one of the Roadshow's greatest finds. While many Antiques Roadshow guests are surprised by high valuations, few walk away with something called 'one of the best ever seen' and choose to keep it. Rupert Maas summed it up best: 'It's not just about the money. Sometimes, the most valuable pieces are the ones people choose not to part with.'

BBC Antiques Roadshow star Fiona Bruce stunned by 'hideous' item that's 'almost impossible' to value
Antiques Roadshow presenter Fiona Bruce was left stunned by one 'hideous' item that was presented to her. WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Antiques Roadshow. Antiques Roadshow experts grappled with placing a value on a "hideous" piece that they'd never laid eyes on before. The hit BBC series ventured to Derby Roundhouse where fans saw a plethora of unique items being evaluated for their worth, both sentimental and monetary. Stepping into the role usually filled by the experts, Fiona Bruce experienced firsthand the intrigue of uncovering an object's past as she encountered a guest with an extraordinary purse. Fiona turned to the viewers, questioning: "Can you guess what this is? There are three, what could be claws here, and then this lizard-like skin." Upon enquiring about its composition, she was informed by its owner that it involved a swan, which led her to the realisation: "It's a swan's claw isn't it! And made into a purse. It's hideous isn't it?" As the guest agreed with a chuckle, Fiona continued: "Now swans have been owned by the monarch since, it's thought, the 12th Century so whoever had this either illegally killed a swan or was connected to the Royal Family in some way." Adding to its mystique, an Elizabethan coin found within the swan's foot when bought from an antiques shop provided a significant clue to its history, suggesting a "pretty good start" for dating the peculiar item. The item's current owner explained: "It was part of his [the antiques shop owner's] own collection and he was just wanting to move it on. "But he did say that he believed it was connected to the court in the Elizabethan times and would have been given to somebody who had done some sort of favour or was in favour with the court." Fiona said: "I was talking to our experts about this coin and there's no doubts in their minds that it's genuine, it's an Elizabethan coin, it's from the 16th Century. "I was quite surprised to learn that it's worth about £40." She then shifted the focus back to the swan's foot purse as the guest revealed she had paid roughly £400 for the item. The presenter added: "Well I talked to our experts again about that and the thing is, no one here's ever seen one before so it's almost impossible to value. "We had estimates ranging from £200 to £700 so £400 is probably about right." Fiona then commented: "Certainly, I think it wins the prize this series for the strangest thing we've ever seen on the Roadshow. "And on that basis alone, thank you so much for bringing it in!" Antiques Roadshow is available to watch on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

More info WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Antiques Roadshow. Antiques Roadshow's Fiona Bruce admitted experts had found it 'almost impossible' to put a value on a 'hideous' item they hadn't seen before. The BBC daytime series ventured to Derby Roundhouse with experts on hand to appraise a wide array of valuable items, both personally and financially. This time around, host Fiona Bruce stepped into the shoes of the specialists as she met with a guest who had presented her with a purse unlike any other. Speaking to the camera, Fiona remarked: 'Can you guess what this is? There are three, what could be claws here, and then this lizard-like skin.' When she then questioned what it was made of, its owner stated it was from a swan, prompting Fiona to reply: 'It's a swan's claw isn't it! And made it into a purse. It's hideous isn't it?' Along with the purse was an Elizabethan coin which had been inside the swan's foot when it was originally purchased at an antiques shop, making it a 'pretty good start' when it came to dating the item. The owner continued: 'It was part of his [the antiques shop owner's] own collection and he was just wanting to move it on. 'But he did say that he believed it was connected to the court in the Elizabethan times and would have been given to somebody who had done some sort of favour or was in favour with the court.'
