All you need to know about Vaybae's sudden Twitch ban

(Image via Vaybae's 'X' Account) Popular Twitch streamer Vaybae faced an unexpected ban, leaving the gaming community shocked. The ban occurred during the Rust drop event, leaving viewers without the promised rewards and raising questions about the engagement policies of Twitch. While Vaybae has made sure to defend her actions against the cited specific violations of the platform, she still has not been unbanned by Twitch. Here is all we know so far about Vaybae's Twitch ban. Why was Vaybae banned from Twitch? As shared by the streamer herself, the Vaybae Twitch ban notification explicitly stated her ban as a result of participation in 'Fake Engagement.' Quite specifically, it's a result of 'rebroadcasting VODs in order to farm Twitch Drops.' The guidelines of Twitch have been clear—Drops remain an exclusive reward for engagement with live streams and not the broadcasts (VODs). Clips that were associated with the violation have also been removed. Vaybae ban explanation, though, seems to deny breaking any rules. As explained by her on X, after streaming Rust for approximately 20 hours straight, she did not wish to end the stream. Vaybae wanted to ensure that viewers could still earn the channel's exclusive drop. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Specialist Down Jackets for Ultralight Adventures Trek Kit India Learn More Undo So, as per her claims, in her place, her teammate actively streamed the gameplay live on the channel and even engaged with her chat. She further argued that the setup is permitted if the person who is continuing the video game streaming is not live anywhere else and interacting with the channel's audience. She further pleaded for Twitch to review VOD moments before she got banned. How did Vaybae's fans react to her ban? Vaybae's being banned triggered passionate and immediate support from her fanbase. There are a few who view the suspension to be excessively harsh, especially during the crucial drop event. Some even rallied under #FreeVaybae. The user argued that accidental inactivity, like falling asleep during the stream, should not warrant such severe punishment, and communication must precede bans. Some of Vaybae's fans on Reddit even speculated she would be unbanned within hours. While the situation, as it looks from Vaybae's explanation, might have been unintentional, the strict Twitch Drops engagement policy leaves very little room for any exceptions. While fans are hoping for some swift resolutions, it is a reminder for the creators that Twitch stream guidelines and Drop policies are non-negotiable, and even a well-intentioned workaround can backfire on the streamers. Shop Chappell Roan's Controversial Crocs from 'The Subway'

One thing I love about Chappell Roan? The Midwest Princess isn't afraid of being a little controversial—and apparently, that even includes her footwear choices. In her highly anticipated music video "The Subway," the star recently sparked debate by wearing one of the most divisive shoes of our generation: a pair of Crocs. While Chappell donned heels for her most of the music video, she chose a more ~practical~ shoe to chase down her lost love on a CitiBike: a pair of Crocs Classic Clogs, in the shade Rust to match her auburn curls. Now, as someone who hasn't set foot in a pair of Crocs since her summer camp days, I have to admit that I was a little taken aback to see the clogs worn alongside Thom Browne and Jimmy Choo. But given Chappell's penchant for campier style choices (hello, prosthetic pig nose and Lady Liberty drag), maybe I shouldn't be surprised? At risk of being ridiculed, let me just say that Crocs are a kiiind of a genius invention. They're easy to keep clean, have great arch support, and come in dozens of different colors (ya know, in case you want your shoes to match your wig-slash-bodysuit-slash-cape). And if you buy into TikTok's wrong shoe theory (AKA, making a fashion statement by wearing shoes that clash with your outfit), Crocs are a subversive—and genuinely comfortable—addition to your footwear rotation. This isn't the first time we've seen the popstar don a pair of Crocs. She actually teamed up with Crocs to promote her single "The Giver" back in May, launching a set of limited-edition Jibbitz that are (sadly) sold out. But if the comments section of Crocs' latest post is any indication, there could be a full-on Crocs x Chappell Roan collab in our future. "OMG I NEVER THOUGHT THIS COLLAB WOULD HAPPEN," wrote one user—and Crocs replied, "It's not over." "OK but can we get some Pink Pony Slides next?! Like… glitter, drama, hoof-ready realness 😱💅🩷 I'm BEGGING!!" added another commenter. Crocs' response? "I think I'll have to explain hoof-ready to our product team." In other words, it seems like a collection isn't totally out of the question. But while we impatiently await more details, I rounded up a few more Crocs styles with major Midwest Princess energy. Halle Berry and Djimon Hounsou cast in Red Card

Halle Berry and Djimon Hounsou are to star in the trafficking thriller Red Card. The duo have signed up to feature in the Africa-set movie that is being directed by Rust helmer Joel Souza from a script written by Bad Boys creator George Gallo and Green Book scribe Nick Vallelonga. Djimon plays Max Elmi, a veteran ranger battling poachers in Kenya, who teams up with Dane Harris - a tenacious special agent and a member of a team led by FBI supervisor Amanda Bruckner (Berry) working with international law enforcement to combat trafficking rings overseas. When Max's son, a talented footballer, falls prey to a deceitful sports agent and vanishes into the North African criminal underworld - he will stop at nothing to find his child, leaving Dane to decide how far he is prepared to go. The pair's odyssey takes them from quiet villages in Kenya to the simmering streets of Casablanca and the film has been endorsed by the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children. Souza said: "Red Card is a fantastic script, from writers who have created film classics, and Djimon is an actor of uncommon power and depth. "Together, we all look forward to telling a thrilling story we truly believe will grip audiences worldwide." Casting is underway to decided who will play the role of Dane, whilst filming is scheduled to take place towards the end of the year. Halle became the first - and remains the only - African-American woman to win the Best Actress Oscar in 2002 for her role in Monster's Ball but previously lamented how the historic success didn't lead to more satisfying roles. The 58-year-old star said: "I was very disheartened after winning that gorgeous guy. I was sure the script truck would just back itself up to my front door. That's what I thought would happen. Like: now I'm going to get all the great parts. But unfortunately for me, that was not my reality. I've been continuing to try to make ways for myself. Because it's hard. I don't often find great parts that I really, really love to sink my teeth into." Despite her lack of satisfaction, Halle is determined to remain positive. The Moonfall star said: "I'm generally a very positive person. I'm a glass-half-full kind of person. I'm not going to sit around bashing things. I'm here to work. I have more hills to climb as long as I'm here. I've got more things to learn. I've got more challenges to face. I can continue to get better." Halle also played Bond girl Jinx in the 2002 film Die Another Day - in which she starred opposite Pierce Brosnan's 007 - and admits that appearing in the long-running spy franchise "wasn't on her wish list" initially. She said last year: "Bond wasn't on my wish list, no, to be in one, but I loved the movies, always, but having been in one, I feel like I'm a part of cinematic history. Those movies are iconic. They will forever be a part of our history, and I'm really honoured to have been a part of one, especially with Pierce."

Instagram/@hilariabaldwin 11 She busted out moves to Celine Dion's 'The Power of Love.' Instagram/@hilariabaldwin Taking to Instagram, Hilaria posted the video showing her seductively dancing on Alec to Celine Dion's 1985 ballad 'The Power of Love' as he sat in a chair. At one point, she sits near him and puts both of her feet on his chest. Alec takes his wife's cue and begins rubbing her tootsies. 11 Fans warned her what can come from foot rubbing. Instagram/@hilariabaldwin 11 The pair already share seven kids under the age of 11. Instagram/@hilariabaldwin 11 Alec Baldwin also had an older daughter from his first marriage. Instagram/@hilariabaldwin 'Foot rub time…makes sense to me 🤗,' the yoga instructor and author captioned the video. Hilaria Baldwin / Instagram Another encouraging follower commented, 'You promised him a life of fun after the storm, and you are delivering it like a boss,' alluding to their life after the 2021 fatal shooting of 'Rust' cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. Others questioned why the couple, who wed in 2012, needed to put their PDA on social media. 'Not sure why you need all this attention. It's too much!' one wrote under the video. 11 In February, she claimed Alec is 'always asking' for more babies. Hilaria stood by her husband in the wake of the tragedy that took place on the Santa Fe, New Mexico, set of his Western movie. Alec initially faced charges of involuntary manslaughter after it was revealed that the loaded prop gun he was holding during rehearsals went off. The involuntary manslaughter charges against Alec were dismissed in July 2024 after a judge found that the prosecution had withheld exculpatory evidence from the defense. Just over a month ago, Alec and several fellow 'Rust' producers reached a settlement in a civil lawsuit brought on by three crew members who claim they were traumatized by the events that took place on set that day. 11 Last year, the charges were dismissed. Alec Baldwin / Instagram The actor always maintained his innocence, with his wife never straying from his side. In February, Hilaria revealed that Alec is 'always asking' her for more kids. 'I don't really want one, but every now and then, when the baby gets older and grows up to be about 2, I look at [Hilaria] and I go, 'Time to have another,'' Alec confessed shortly after. 11 The couple has suffered pregnancy loss in the past. alecbaldwininsta/Instagram While Hilaria agreed that their children were 'really cute,' she admitted, 'My body's really tired.' While they have seven together, he has his firstborn, daughter, Ireland Baldwin, 29, from his first marriage to actress Kim Basinger. The two were married from 1993 to 2002. 11 Hilaria seemingly shut down rumors they would add to their family, claiming her body's 'really tired.' Hilaria Baldwin / Instagram He's also a dad to his kids with Hilaria: Carmen, 11, Rafael, 10, Leonardo, 9, Romeo, 7, twins Eduardo and María, 4, and Ilaria, 2. Hilaria and Alec have also experienced pregnancy loss. Before having her two youngest babies, the podcaster wrote in a 2021 Instagram post: 'After 5 babies out of my body, 3 chemical pregnancies, 1 miscarriage at 9 weeks, one at 4 months and a round of ivf, resulting in Marilu — my body has gone on quite a journey for the family we have. 'I have done my fair share of self abuse…but, through much work on my mental health, I've learned to be grateful for her and support her,' she added. 'When we grow to love our changing forms—loose skin and all—that we honor our full life's journey.'
