Who's Your Law & Orderverse Dream Team? Choose Your Perfect Squad
In the criminal justice system, the people are represented by two separate, but equally important, groups: the police, who investigate crime, and the district attorneys, who prosecute the offenders. This is your chance to build your dream team of the two. More from TVLine Resident Alien Season 4 Premiere Recap: Was Harry Able to Bust Out of Alien Jail? (Grade It!) Law & Order: Organized Crime Recap: After a Death in the Family, Will Stabler Turn to the Dark Side? The Cleaning Lady Ends Season 4 on an Unresolved Note - Do You Want to See a Fifth Season? In advance of Law & Order: Organized Crime's season finale later this week, and while Law & Order and Law & Order: SVU are on break for the summer, we thought we'd pose this question: Who would staff your ideal squad room? Before you start shouting out your favorites, a few things to keep in mind: * To date, seven Law & Order series have aired in the United States; those are the shows we're considering here. In addition to the flagship series, there's SVU, Criminal Intent, Trial by Jury, LA, True Crime and Organized Crime. (Law & Order: Toronto, which has aired Season 1 in Canada and will debut later this year in the U.S. on The CW, is not eligible.) Law & Order: 20 Best Gifts and Merch for Franchise Superfans View List * In order to keep these sprawling lists from getting even more unwieldy, we limited the choices to characters played by series regulars. (So fans of, say, SVU's Capt. Curry are outta luck.) * We broke down the pool into LAW (those who work for the district attorney's office) and ORDER (officers in the New York Police Department). You can choose four from the first, and five from the second. Mirroring his journey in the franchise, Dominick 'Sonny' Carisi Jr. shows up on both lists. Scroll down to review the 28 (!) lawyers and 52 (!!) cops, and pick your favorites. Then hit the comments to share your dream team and see how other readers' picks shaped up. 13 and Done: Nashville Superspeedway Breaks NASCAR Xfinity's Historic Viewership Run
13 and Done: Nashville Superspeedway Breaks NASCAR Xfinity's Historic Viewership Run originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The NASCAR Xfinity Series was on fire this year. For thirteen straight races, over a million people tuned in to watch every single event. That's the best streak the series has had in almost a decade and it showed just how much fans love what they're seeing on The CW. Advertisement But all good things come to an end. The Tennessee Lottery 250 at Nashville brought in 988,000 viewers, falling just short of that magic million mark. Still, it was the most-watched Xfinity race at Nashville since they started racing there again back in 2021. Here's the thing though – the numbers are still pretty amazing. Those first thirteen races averaged 1.176 million viewers, which is 20% higher than the same time last year. Back then, they were only getting about 978,000 viewers per race on average. NASCAR Xfinity Series drivers race at Nashville Nelles / The Tennessean / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images What's really helping is that The CW puts these races on free-to-air coverage instead of cable broadcast. More people can watch without paying extra and that's making a huge difference. It's the first time in the series' history that every race is free to watch. Advertisement Even with the streak ending, the Nashville numbers showed continued growth. The 988,000 viewers represented a 29% increase over the fourteenth race of 2024 at Sonoma Raceway, indicating that while the milestone run concluded, overall viewership remains robust and well above last year's pace. So yeah, the streak is over at thirteen races. But the bigger story here is that more people are watching NASCAR Xfinity than ever before and that's pretty exciting for the sport. 'Her boyfriend Ben (Benjamin Ayres) has fallen off the wagon, Sofia (Eden Summer Gilmore) has written a devastating essay about her mother's alcoholism, and Harry (Garber) has passed her over for equity partnership. 'Abby decides to give Ben a second chance – though it only leads to more disappointment,' the overview continues. 'Professionally, Abby's concerns about a major development at the firm are ignored, forcing her to make a decision that sends shockwaves through the office – and her family. Meanwhile, Harry and Joanne (Lauren Holly) manage their breakup poorly, until they both have experiences that make them reevaluate what truly matters. At work, Harry's plan for a lucrative merger with a rival law office looks like a sure thing until it forces him to make an impossible choice.' Additionally, 'Daniel (Zach Smadu) mourns the end of his 'relationship' with Martina (Miranda Edwards) by having a one-night stand, and his life is further turned upside down when Jude shares life-changing news with him. Lucy (Genelle Williams) ends her relationship with the manipulative Kelly (Aliyah O'Brien), but the break-up leaves her wracked with self-doubt – until she's upfront about her insecurities on a podcast, which leads to exciting opportunities and possible romance.' Family Law Season 4 has yet to air in Canada, though I am told that news on that front may arrive in the coming weeks. Best of TVLine 'Missing' Shows, Found!
