MOCA shakeup: Ann Goldstein named interim director as Johanna Burton departs
The Museum of Contemporary Art has appointed former senior curator Ann Goldstein as its interim director, beginning Aug. 18. The Board of Trustees said Wednesday that it has launched an international search for a new permanent director. The move comes less than a week after the Institute of Contemporary Art at the University of Pennsylvania announced that MOCA's current director, Johanna Burton, would be its new director, with a start date of Nov. 1. MOCA did not issue its own press release about the leadership shakeup until Wednesday. When news of Burton's departure broke, she said she timed her departure so that she could oversee the opening of MOCA's highly anticipated 'Monuments' exhibit, which is scheduled for Oct. 23. But a source close to MOCA, who asked to remain anonymous because they were not authorized to speak on the record, said Burton's last day is Friday. MOCA declined to comment on the timing of Burton's departure or the discrepancy between when she said she was leaving and the museum's announcement that Goldstein will start in her role Aug. 18, but Burton confirmed her earlier departure to The Times. Burton said she had offered to stay up until the last minute before she was scheduled to begin her new job, but that MOCA's board, 'Probably just realized that it needed to move more quickly towards thinking about the next phase, which makes sense to me.' 'I think everybody just has the best interest of the museum in mind,' Burton said, adding that she is proud of her time with MOCA and leaves with only good feelings about what she and her staff have accomplished over the past four years. 'I'm delighted that they're in a position where that kind of runway can be taken up by somebody who is as wonderful as Ann, and it makes me feel really good handing it off.' Goldstein has a long history with MOCA, having shaped her career at the museum, beginning in 1983, just a few years after the museum was established. Over the next two-and-a-half decades Goldstein rose to senior curator. From 2009 to 2013 she served as director of the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam; and in 2016 she became deputy director of the Art Institute of Chicago. 'No one knows MOCA like Ann. Her deep institutional knowledge and passion for our collection and community coupled with her international directorial expertise makes her the ideal leader to maintain the museum's momentum,' said Carolyn Clark Powers, chair of MOCA's board of trustees. 'While Johanna Burton's departure marks a moment of transition for MOCA, thanks to her leadership the museum is well positioned for the future.' Burton is the fifth director to leave MOCA since 2008. She became the museum's first female director four years ago in what The Times called 'something of an embarrassed addendum' to the news that MOCA's former director and recently named artistic director Klaus Biesenbach had taken a job in Berlin. Two weeks prior, MOCA had announced that Burton would assume the role of executive director to co-run the museum with Biesenbach as part of a management restructuring plan. Suddenly alone in the top role, Burton became the museum's seventh director in MOCA's nearly 40-year history. The museum was emerging from a period of instability after a series public stumbles, including a canceled fundraising gala due to public outcry over a lack of diversity in its honorees, the firing of chief curator Helen Molesworth and what many considered to be an unexpected announcement that former director Philippe Vergne wouldn't renew his five-year contract. Despite the internal turmoil, and a significant drop in membership, as well as a COVID-19-induced closure that lasted more than a year, MOCA's endowment hit a high watermark of $170 million at the time of Burton's initial appointment.

Inside Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson's 'Special Bond' as Reunion Fuels Romance Rumors
THE RUNDOWN Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson have officially reunited. The former Dawson's Creek stars are collaborating on Holmes's upcoming film Happy Hours, which she is set to direct and star in alongside Jackson. Since the pair have been spotted filming scenes around New York City, fans are speculating about a possible romantic rekindling as they previously dated decades ago. But a source recently clarified that they aren't back together. The insider told Entertainment Tonight that Holmes and Jackson are 'just friends.' The source added, 'They have a special bond and love how excited fans are. Rekindling a romantic relationship is not likely.' Ahead, the full history of their relationship. Holmes and Jackson met in the '90s when they co-starred on the hit teen drama, Dawson's Creek. The show ran for six seasons from 1998 to 2003. Their characters, Joey Potter (Holmes) and Pacey Witter (Jackson), engaged in an on-again-off-again relationship throughout the series before finally getting married in the end. And the actors took their romance offscreen. In a 1998 Rolling Stone interview, Holmes, then 19, alluded to her IRL relationship with Jackson, which reportedly had already ended by then. 'I had really good luck this past year, and I had a really wonderful, amazing experience,' she said. The journalist then mentioned that she has it on 'good authority' that her great dating experience was with her Dawson's Creek co-star. 'I'm just going to say that I met somebody last year,' she responded. 'I fell in love, I had my first love, and it was something so incredible and indescribable that I will treasure it always. And that I feel so fortunate because he's now one of my best friends.' She continued, 'He's been in the business so long, and he's really helped me. I respect him as a friend and as a professional.' Jackson appeared on an episode of the Canadian talk show, George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight. In the interview, he spoke about a recent phone call he received from Holmes. 'Like any old friend, it was like, 'Oh, hi, how are ya? What's going on?,' 'I had a kid,' 'Yeah, that's crazy, I heard.' It was nice, it was very nice, actually.' At the time, he was in a relationship with the German actress Diane Kruger. In an interview with The Times, Jackson spoke about his former relationship with Holmes. 'We were kids,' he said, 'so it was a full-on stars-moon-sky romance.' He also shared that the Dawson's Creek cast have a WhatsApp group chat. 'It doesn't get a lot of use but every once in a while someone will crop up,' he said. '[In January] we passed the 25th anniversary [of the show] so there was a flurry of texts. It really centers around, 'Oh my God, I can't believe that we all went through that thing together.' It's obviously such a formative point in all our lives.' Holmes was interviewed for The Times and was asked about the Dawson's Creek WhatsApp group, which she seemingly didn't know anything about. 'All of us text every now and then, but I wasn't aware of the WhatsApp,' she said. 'But you know what? I'm really bad at WhatsApp. I never check it because it's a little too much.' But she did share that she keeps in touch with the cast 'every now and then.' She added, 'Everyone's grown up and is busy, but the bond will forever be there.' Jackson appeared on an episode of Jesse Tyler Ferguson's podcast, Dinner's on Me. During a conversation about Dawson's Creek, Jackson revealed that he and Holmes were still 'very close.' He said, 'It's not a daily call. Sometimes it's not a weekly, or monthly, or even a half-yearly call, but when you're always that, like, I know you know.' Holmes announced that she and Jackson were going to be working together again on a new film, Happy Hours. 'Working with Josh after so many years is a testament to friendship,' she wrote. ' HAPPY HOURS is a love story that includes so many people I adore. We can't wait for everyone to see what we make.' Holmes is set to direct, write, and star in Happy Hours with Jackson. According to Deadline, the forthcoming trilogy is 'a story about two people (played by Holmes and Jackson) navigating their relationship within the challenges of careers and family responsibilities and the pursuit of love, despite life's inevitable obstacles. It's a character-driven dramedy that explores the emotional journey of young loves who reconnect as adults, with the connective thread of shared joys, loss, and hope.' The rest of the cast includes Constance Wu, Mary-Louise Parker, Donald Webber Jr., and John McGinty. Production on the first of the three films is currently underway in New York. The same day as Holmes' Instagram post, she and Jackson were spotted filming Happy Hours in NYC. Holmes and Jackson were photographed running lines. A source shut down offscreen dating rumors, telling Entertainment Tonight, 'Rekindling a romantic relationship is not likely. They are just friends.' The insider added, 'Josh and Katie are excited to be working together again. They have a special bond and love how excited fans are.' They were seen shooting a scene in Washington Square Park. Jackson was pushing a stroller, possibly hinting that their characters will have a baby in Happy Hours. The actors ventured to Brooklyn to film, and Holmes was in director mode.

Junior H announces $ad Boyz Live & Broken tour
As the summer winds down, one perpetual sad boy returns to the concert stage to welcome the romantic fall gloom. On Wednesday, música Mexicana star Junior H announced his United States tour: $ad Boyz Live & Broken. His 25-date run will kick off Aug. 31 in Tinley Park, Ill., and wrap up Nov. 7 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. Junior H has played a critical role in defining the essence of corridos tumbados since he signed a a deal with Rancho Humilde Records, following his 2019 viral hit 'No Eh Cambiado.' The Guanajuato-born singer-songwriter is best known for generating some of the genre's most popular songs, such as 'Fin de Semana' with Oscar Maydon, 'El Azul' featuring Peso Pluma, as well as their ultra-famous collab hit, 'Lady Gaga,' alongside Gabito Ballesteros. But Junior H, whose real name is Antonio Herrera Pérez, has also etched his own lane outside of the genre's self-indulgent drug-fueled luxury lifestyle. As a hopeless romantic, the singer has adopted the term 'sad boy' to describe his persona. 'They started categorizing me with sad and sentimental music. So I accepted and we kept it going,' said Junior H in an April interview with The Times. 'Especially with men, I think it's important to show people that feelings are not bad and we can express them as we want.' It's been nearly two years since the regional singer released his most successful album yet, '$ad Boyz 4 Life II,' which peaked at No. 14 on the Billboard 200 chart shortly after its release. With crooning tunes like 'Mientras Duermes' and 'Y Lloro,' Junior H graces the sad sierreño territory, proving his versatility as an artist. '[With 'Sad Boyz 4 Life II'] we've been forcing ourselves to prove and show the people what we can do and that we can change our music. It doesn't have to be typical,' said Junior H. Earlier this spring, he also performed on the main stage at the 2025 Coachella Music and Arts Festival as a top-billed act. ''We can also do nice and beautiful music, not just music for the streets or the narcos and all that s—... We also do beautiful music and poetry,' he added. Who Is Ollie Davidson? Meet Bonnie Blue's Ex-Husband
In the space of a year, Bonnie Blue, whose real name is Tia Billinger, has gone from being an OnlyFans creator to a divisive, controversy-baiting viral phenomenon. At just 26 years old, she became a household name overnight thanks to a series of x-rated publicity stunts, including having sex with more than 1,000 men in 12 hours and sleeping with hundreds of 'barely legal' virgins during Fresher's Week in Australia. She has since been permanently banned from OnlyFans because of her dangerous content. Before she got into this line of work, however, Bonnie lived an ordinary life in Derbyshire. She worked in recruitment sourcing finance assistants and accountants for the NHS. And at the age of 23, she married Ollie Davidson, a boy she met at a party when she was 15, and they moved to Australia's Gold Coast to start their life together. They are currently in the process of getting divorced. So, who is Ollie Davidson? Why are they getting divorced? And what does he make of her newfound fame? Ollie, whose full name is Oliver, works as an estate agent. He met Bonnie when they were teenagers and they got married in a register office service in February 2022. Shortly afterwards, they relocated to Australia together. While Ollie's age has not been confirmed, it's likely he is a similar age to Bonnie and is therefore 26 or 27. No, despite trying to conceive for 18 months before they moved to Australia, Bonnie and Ollie did not have children during their marriage. Bonnie claims that during her time living in Australia she put on weight and lost her dancer's physique, which is one of the reasons she got into online sex work to boost her confidence and make more money. Ollie actively encouraged her but 'didn't pimp [her] out'. Speaking to The Times , Bonnie revealed Ollie has moved back to England and they are currently getting divorced. She insisted that it has nothing to do with her work. 'We just grew apart,' she said. And after he left, she became a 'full-service' escort, having sex for money. Bonnie has since moved back to the UK herself. 'We loved each other, but we weren't in love,' she told the Daily Mail. 'So we separated, but we didn't make it official. Me doing what I've done recently had nothing to do with the relationship breakdown. But, of course, no one will believe me.' Yes, Bonnie's ex-husband features in her Channel 4 documentary, , 1000 Men And Me: The Bonnie Blue Story , which came out on 29 July. 'Ollie was beyond supportive, he gave me the confidence to do OnlyFans,' she explains. 'And it wasn't because he wanted to pimp me out, he just wanted me to be happy and have control of my life. And obviously the money was good as well.' Ollie admitted he is proud of his ex-partner. 'She really connects with the fans,' he said. 'Most people, if they do porn, they seem out of reach. You're never going to meet them.' 'You're never going to be able to film with them. Whereas Bonnie puts a location online, and then obviously her fans can actually film with her,' he continued. 'It's like a defining moment in porn, where she's completely changed the game.' Nikki Peach is a writer at Grazia UK, working across entertainment, TV and news. She has also written for the i, i-D and the New Statesman Media Group and covers all things pop culture for Grazia (treating high and lowbrow with equal respect).

‘Childish' Gwyneth Paltrow's ‘chaotic… toxic' workplace: Goop has lost 140 staff in two years, new bio claims
Gwyneth Paltrow ran a workplace that was allegedly 'chaotic and sometimes toxic,' resulting in mass resignations in recent years, a new book has claimed. The Oscar-winning actor's Goop healthcare and wellness brand has reportedly suffered from an inability to be sustainably profitable, with executives struggling to navigate Paltrow's 'impatience and perfectionism.' The claims come as part of a new biography by Amy Odell, who also penned the 2021 biography Anna, about the life of Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour. In Gwyneth, which was released Tuesday, Odell describes how those that worked at Goop 'seemed cagier than many of Wintour's former employees,' noting that 'many had signed NDAs.' 'The company she founded in 2008 hasn't experienced sustained profitability, has allegedly suffered from a chaotic and sometimes toxic office culture, and has lacked a clear business strategy as it ping-pongs from one of Gwyneth's ideas to the next,' Odell writes, in an excerpt from the book. 'As the main narrator of her own public story, Gwyneth has masterfully shaped our perception of her. She knows all her best angles.' The star of Shakespeare in Love , Sliding Doors and The Talented Mr Ripley – who took a break from Hollywood in 2027 to launch her brand – is also portrayed as somewhat ignorant of the machinations of a business and was described as 'erratic' and 'childish' in the way she dealt with employees, according to the book. Within the past two years, Odell states, Goop lost at least 140 employees, including its chief financial officer, chief technology officer, chief revenue officer, general counsel and chief content officer 'Many were terrified to talk about Gwyneth,' Odell writes. 'Some people I interviewed had seen her take action against people she felt had crossed her. 'Gwyneth has had a habit throughout her life of bringing people close to her, then cooling on them. Some simply move on, while others become dismayed and desperate to get back into her inner circle.' The Independent has reached out to Paltrow and Goop about the claims made in Gwyneth via the company. According to further excerpts of Gwyneth, seen by The Times, the actress was reportedly childish, or even outright rude, to other high-profile individuals she had in her life. After breaking up with Brad Pitt in 1997, she reportedly told an interviewer that she had to explain the difference between separate types of caviar, and described him as being 'dumber than a sack of shit.' The Times reports that, per the book, Paltrow also gossiped about another former fling, Ben Affleck, as well as distancing herself from long-time friend Madonna because her ex-husband Chris Martin had reportedly taken a dislike to her. Paltrow recently harked back to the time when she and Martin were together, prior to their 'conscious uncoupling' in 2014, after appearing in a commercial for software company Astronomer. It came after Astronomer CEO Andy Byron was caught being intimate with his head of HR Kristin Cabot at a Coldplay concert – and was called out by frontman Martin live at the show.
