#SHOWBIZ: South Korean actress Kang Seo-ha dies of cancer at 31
SEOUL: South Korean actress Kang Seo-ha, celebrated for her roles in dramas such as Heart Surgeons, Schoolgirl Detectives, and Through the Waves, has tragically passed away at the age of 31 after a battle with stomach cancer.
Entertainment portal Allkpop reported yesterday that the Korea National University of Arts graduate was considered one of the Korean entertainment industry's most promising rising talents.
Her family confirmed the heartbreaking news via an Instagram post.
They shared a video featuring images of the late actress, accompanied by the caption: "Our angel who left too soon. Thank you for coming into the family. We all love you."
Kang had been fighting stage-four stomach cancer, and her condition severely deteriorated during her second round of chemotherapy.
Despite undergoing treatment and putting up a courageous fight, she succumbed to the illness on July 13.
