BigTime Creative Shop claims milestone Sports Emmy® win
BigTime Creative Shop has received a Sports Emmy® Award for Outstanding Promotional Announcement at the 45th Annual Sports Emmy® Awards presented by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) – a win BigTime says marks the first time a Middle East and Africa-based creative shop has taken home the honour. The award was for Obsession – Usyk 2 Fury Reignited, a stylised promotional film created for Riyadh Season's highly anticipated boxing rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury. The film was conceptualised by BigTime, directed by French collective Megaforce, and produced by Riff Raff Films. Set to Kylie Minogue's Can't Get You Out of My Head, the film offers a surreal and comedic depiction of mutual obsession between the two boxers. From Fury imagining Usyk replacing his entire family to Usyk spotting Fury's face on a sausage – a nod to the fighter's infamous taunts – the film built global buzz around one of the sport's most talked-about rivalries. The campaign was part of Riyadh Season's broader strategy to cement Saudi Arabia as a global hub for major sports and entertainment events. BigTime Creative Shop has worked across sport, culture and entertainment and was recognised as the most awarded independent agency in MENA at Dubai Lynx and The One Club, and named Middle East Agency of the Year at Adfest.

I sparred Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois - here's who wins the rematch
The pair are set to go head-to-head for a second time at Wembley Stadium in July and many within the sport are now giving their official predictions for the mouthwatering clash Martin Bakole has thrown his support behind Oleksandr Usyk, backing the Ukrainian to beat Daniel Dubois again in their upcoming rematch later this summer. Last month, it was confirmed that the two heavyweight stars would square off for the second time at Wembley Stadium in London on July 29, with all four world titles up for grabs. Their first encounter took place in 2023 where the Ukrainian emerged victorious by stopping the Brit towards the end of the dust-up, despite Dubois having knocked Usyk down earlier. However, much to the frustration of 'Triple D,' the shot was later deemed a low blow. With the rematch now set, Bakole - who claims to have beat both fighters in sparring - has tipped Usyk to emerge victorious. "Usyk, except me, beats everyone. Deontay Wilder I think is done," he confidently stated. "Usyk is a boxing man, boxing brain, boxing movement, I don't think no one will stop him right now expect Martin Bakole. I know why I am saying that because I learn boxing from my brother, a southpaw, I know how to stop and cut off the ring. But Daniel Dubois doesn't. "I was expecting Usyk to get beat by 'The Gypsy King' but I was shocked he beat 'The Gypsy King' twice. Joshua is good, tough guy, but he doesn't know how to cut the ring. Daniel Dubois will never change, he will just keep his style, but Usyk is [better] than him and will beat him." Speaking ahead of the rematch, Usyk said: "I'm grateful to God for the opportunity to once again fight for the undisputed championship. Thank you, Daniel, for taking care of my IBF belt - now I want it back." Meanwhile, the British fighter Dubois declared: "This is the fight I wanted and demanded and now I get my chance for revenge against Oleksandr Usyk. I should have won the first fight and was denied by the judgement of the referee, so I will make no mistake this time around in front of my people at the national stadium in my home city." Dubois added: "I am a superior and more dangerous fighter now and Usyk will find this out for himself on July 19. I would like to thank my promoter Frank for making this happen for me and I intend to repay him by becoming the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world." Usyk comes into the showdown off of back-to-back victories over Tyson Fury, while Dubois' last ring appearance saw him triumph over Anthony Joshua in September. 'Triple D' had been scheduled to face Joseph Parker earlier in the year but had to pull out after falling ill just a few days before the fight. Tensions flared between Dubois and Usyk during a heated face-off in London last month, with 'Triple D' shoving his longtime adversary. The animosity escalated further when Dubois' trainer, Don Charles, launched a scathing verbal attack on Usyk, accusing him of deceiving the boxing world during their 2023 bout in Poland. "The actions you did that night, you've heard of the Oscars? You should've won an Oscar," said Charles. "You conned the referee, you conned us and you conned the boxing world. You pride yourself as a God-fearing man – 'Thou shalt not lie' – so I question what kind of God do you worship? The God has summoned you for our son Daniel Dubois to get revenge on you."

Tyson Fury insists he's STAYING retired in huge blow to boxing fans after Anthony Joshua fight appeared to finally be on
TYSON FURY insists he is staying retired and will not return to boxing for the people who 'rumped' him. The 36-year-old hung up his gloves after back-to-back losses to Oleksandr Usyk last year. 5 5 5 But the offer of an overdue mega-money Anthony Joshua fight remains on the table. Saudi Arabia funded both of those iconic Usyk showdowns and would fund the mouthwatering AJ rivalry. But the Morecambe millionaire seems to still be seething at his consecutive points defeats to the Ukraine king and has floored talks of a return. Referring to himself in the third person, from a stunning Lake Como balcony in Italy, he said: 'I hear a lot of talk about the Gypsy King returning to boxing and I ask this question: for what? 'What would I return for? 'More belts? I've won 22 of them. 'I've been rumped, that's it, fair play to them, they got their use out of me. 'But I'm happy, I am happy, content with what I have achieved and accomplished. JOIN SUN VEGAS: GET £50 BONUS 5 'I've been around the world and back again. "And this is what retirement looks like for the Gypsy King, not too shabby.' Confusing reports from the Joshua camp suggest the 35-year-old has just signed a two-fight deal with the Saudis - with a fight coming before the end of the year - but requires surgery on an elbow injury. All signs seem to point to Fury - who has shared social media clips of himself running and training again - finally coming face-to-face with the London 2012 legend. But he insists the gym sessions are simply to keep his physical and mental health in check. And that the fantasy all-English fight will never happen. He said: 'I'm in no rush at all, to come back to boxing and get my face punched in. 'For what? What would I return for? I ask that question. 'I am retired and I am staying retired. 'I have nothing to prove to anybody and nothing to return for.' 5
