Four men charged after serious disorder in Bilston
Three people were taken to hospital after the disorder, however police said their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.Six people have so far been arrested in connection with the disorder, two of whom have been bailed while inquiries continued, the force added.Officers are also investigating a gun that was found in Arbour Drive.Police said more patrols were taking place in the area and that the disorder was being treated as an isolated incident.

Three arrested after woman ‘murdered' outside care home in horror attack as officers swarm and seal off road
COPS have arrested three men after a woman was found dead outside a care home. Police were called to Chadwell Heath Lane, Romford, at around 5.30am on Saturday. 4 4 4 Officers found a woman had been attacked and despite the best efforts of emergency services, she was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Formal identification is yet to take place, however it is believed the victim was in her 20s. Her family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers. A 35-year-old has now been arrested on suspicion of murder, alongside a 21-year-old and 22-year-old who were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. It is understood those involved were known to each other. Detective Superintendent Brian Hobbs said: 'Our thoughts remain with the victim's family and friends in light of this truly tragic event. 'Although we have now made arrests, local residents will continue to see an increased number of officers in and around the area while our investigative work is carried out. 'I would ask anyone who was in the area of Romford, who may have seen or heard anything suspicious, to speak to us.' Boy, 2, dies after car hits pedestrians in Whitstable
A two-year-old boy has died and a man is seriously injured after a crash in a car park in Kent, police have said they were called to the junction of Harbour Street and Cromwell Road, Whitstable, at 20:24 BST on Saturday, after a crash involving a car and multiple boy was pronounced dead at the scene and a man was taken to hospital with serious injuries, said police. The child's next of kin has been said a man in his 20s was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He remained in custody while inquiries continued, police said.A spokesperson for Canterbury City Council said: "Our thoughts are with everyone affected by last night's incident."We have officers on site today to offer help and support."Kent Police appealed for witnesses or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage to get in touch with them.

Protesters gather outside Canary Wharf asylum hotel in fresh anti-migrant demonstrations after resident 'entered blind woman's flat'
Protesters have gathered outside a hotel housing asylum seekers in Canary Wharf today amid fresh ant-migrant demonstrations. The Britannia International Hotel in London is being used to accommodate hundreds of asylum seekers. It has been the subject of several chaotic protests in recent weeks, after Tower Hamlets Council confirmed it was handed over to the Home Office to house migrants. Today, police officers were deployed around the area as the protest kicked off outside. The group of men and women were ordered to remain on the pavement opposite the hotel. Photos from the event show demonstrators carrying England flags, signs reading 'stop the boats' and coloured smoke flares. Several men - one of them masked and topless - were seen being detained by police following a string of arrests made in recent weeks. This month, a young woman tried to storm the migrant hotel with a meat cleaver after she found an asylum seeker in her mother's flat 'moving his hands over his groin', a court heard. She found the man 'moving his hand' over his genital area, Ms Augustus's lawyer Emma Clements told Thames Magistrates' Court. After chasing him away, she is alleged to have gone to the hotel at around 6pm where she confronted a security guard who was trying her calm her down. She returned with a meat cleaver and started banging it on a metal barrier outside the hotel and shouted 'f****** asylum seekers', the court heard. Channay Augustus, 22, is accused of being part of a group of around 20 people who tried to barge into the Britannia Hotel. The trouble allegedly started when she discovered a migrant as she cleaned her blind mother's ground-floor flat, a five-minute walk away from the hotel. Augustus, of Tower Hamlets, was remanded into custody to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on September 12. Today, hundreds also gathered in the Northumberland town of Ashington to protest against 'illegal immigrants' in the area. The demonstration was shared by the Facebook page 'British Unity', with organisers claiming the aim was to have their concerns about safety in the town recognised by the Government. Protesters who met at 12pm called for the removal of 'illegal-immigrants' in the area, and demanded a stop to 'housing them for our children's future'. A police presence was in attendance at the protest as demonstrators also called for 'mass deportations' and to 'stop the boats'. MP for Blyth and Ashington Ian Lavery spoke ahead of the demonstration: 'Anyone attending protests this weekend should behave responsibly and remember: actions have consequences. You might think you'll know everyone in attendance, but sadly these kinds of events are often infiltrated by people from outside the area with their own agendas.' He added: 'In recent months, hysteria has been whipped up by national and local figures. Sadly, few are telling the truth. Too many across all parties have echoed divisive rhetoric rather than standing up for truth and fairness. If you do attend a meeting or protest, you should know the facts.' The MP continued: 'The anger out there is real - and justified. People in our communities live shorter, less healthy lives. Children are growing up in poverty. Schools are underfunded and crumbling. The NHS is under strain. People have less money in their pockets than at any time in a generation. 'But let's be clear: the people responsible for this decline are not those fleeing war or persecution. They are not the vulnerable seeking sanctuary.' Organisers asked for those in attendance to wear 'no face coverings' and display 'no violence.' Crowds have since dispersed from the area.
