Dubai, UAE, 19 March 2025: Founder and Chairman of Azizi Developments, Mr. Mirwais Azizi, has received the prestigious 'Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Order for Philanthropy' from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, at the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) Year in Review event that was held on March 18th, 2025, at the Dubai World Trade Center. The recognition was bestowed upon Mr. Azizi for his substantial contributions to the UAE's real estate landscape, with his latest donation, AED 3 billion toward MBRGI's Father's Endowment campaign, being the single largest charitable contribution ever made by a private entity in the history of the emirates.

China's export growth decrease in May amid Trump's tariff
China's export growth slowed in May due to ongoing uncertainty caused by escalating trade tensions with the US over reciprocal tariffs. After the meeting, it was agreed that, as of May 14, the US would reduce its customs duties on Chinese goods from 145% to 30% for 90 days, and China would reduce its duties on US goods from 125% to 10%. In a statement on May 30, US President Trump accused China of violating most of the agreement reached in Geneva, saying he would discuss the issue with Chinese President Xi Jinping and hoped it would be resolved.
