WHEN it comes to hunting for a charity shop bargain, Jellycats are every reseller's dream.
As the plushies can often fetch a small fortune when they're resold - especially if they're rare or discontinued models.

So when Liv's mum spotted a humungous yellow bunny Jellycat in her local charity shop, she immediately messaged her daughter - who's a massive fan of the adorable toys.
And despite the fact that the giant rabbit was marked up at £80, Liv decided to ask her mum to buy him, to either add to her already bursting collection, or to resell for a profit as part of her mission to turn £15 into £500.
"I was working from home and my mum FaceTimed me and said there's a couple of Jellycats in the charity shop," Liv explained in a video on her TikTok page.
"I did not expect it to be this one. He is absolutely huge!"
After researching the lemon Bashful Bunny, she discovered that he's "super rare"
"All that I know is that the lemon Bashful Bunnies are discontinued and I can't find any of his size on eBay or Vinted or anything!" she added.
"I'm currently sat here cuddling him and I'm really tempted to keep him," Liv added.
"But if I was to sell him how much do you think I should list him for and what is he worth?"
The comments section was almost immediately filled with people offering their suggestions, with one writing: "I personally think over £200 as a medium one sold on eBay for £105!"
"Wow okay good to know! I'll try not get attached to him!" Liv replied.
The five signs that your Jellycat is FAKE - and the things to look out for to authenticate a real one
"How much did you pay for him?" another asked.
With Liv responding: "£80 which is a lot but he's rare and retired!"
"I remember one selling for over £250 a few years ago," a third wrote.
"I just missed out of bidding so start high in auction I say!"
"He's very rare, he was a John Lewis exclusive for Easter," someone else said.
"Not sure what year."
Why are Jellycats so popular?
THEY were made for kids, but Jellycat toys remain incredibly popular with adults too. So just what is the appeal?
The London-based company started making toys in 1999, and enjoyed success from the outset thanks to the fabrics used to make their plushies suitable for children of all ages.
In recent years, they have branched out from making toys of various animals into turning virtually anything you can think of into a Jellycat.
Their vegetable offerings, which range from broccoli to avocado, can help kids eat their greens.
And even their April Fools - a toilet paper toy - was a hit with fans.
Jellycat also has numerous celebrity fans, including Princess Charlotte, with a picture released in 2015 showing the royal with her Fuddlewuddle dog.
The hefty price tag of the toys also promote the idea of luxury, and the value of the toys increases over time - meaning they are often a worthwhile investment.
Jellycat releases two new collections a year - in January and in the summer, in either June or July.
"I'm so jealous!!! I love him! He's amazing!! If you sell please let me know!!" another gushed.
"He's amazing! Yeah I will do," someone else said.

Julia claimed that when she questioned the foodie about his claims, his responses 'knocked her sideways.' As a result, eager to share her insider friend's insight with others, Julia took to social media and acknowledged the dishes she will now be avoiding, leaving many open-mouthed. And according to the restaurant owner, these dishes should be avoided at 'any restaurant" - whether that's a chain or a posh place. Say goodbye to 'specials' First things first, according to this insider, 'specials that aren't tied to a clear seasonal ingredient' should be steered clear of. While the insider claimed that such dishes 'sound harmless', it turns out that this often means using ingredients that need to be used before they go out of date. Julia's insider friend explained: 'The sauce masks the age, the garnish distracts you - and by the time you've finished, you've basically paid top dollar for yesterday's leftovers.' Feeling fishy Secondly, if you don't want to spend hours on the loo after going out for a meal, you may want to avoid 'shellfish in places nowhere near the coast.' According to this insider, unless restaurants have daily deliveries and spotless storage, you're 'gambling with your gut' by ordering shellfish. For those looking to avoid a night hugging the loo, Julia's friend stressed: 'Most punters don't realise but the wrong handling turns a fancy seafood platter into a food poisoning time bomb.' Vietnamese restaurant in London shut down after 'DOG MEAT disguised as goat found in freezer by health inspectors' Not ice, ice, baby Not only can shellfish cause an upset stomach, but having ice in drinks can also cause issues - yes, you heard that correctly. Julia's restaurant owner bestie suddenly made summer cocktails feel much less Instagrammable, as he shared a warning over having ice in beverages. You won't see it, but you'll feel it 12 hours later Insider He stressed: 'If the ice machine isn't cleaned properly - and in busy spots, it often isn't - you're basically sipping on a chilled petri dish.' Load off the meat Last but not least, the restaurant owner revealed the 'shocker' that you will want to avoid when dining at buffets or all-you-can-eats. According to this source, chicken dishes in such locations are 'the perfect breeding ground for bacteria if temps aren't bang-on.' I'm as likely renew my vows as to try the new hot husbanding trend

I have been giving some thought to renewing my wedding vows. Yes, do congratulate me. And maybe think about a gift? John Lewis vouchers are always nice. It'll be a small affair — about 200 guests, a photogenic lake, lots of flattering speeches about me, me, me. Naturally I'll release a few doves for the optimal Instagram aesthetic. Sorry did I say some thought? I meant no thought. None whatsoever. I would be as likely to renew my vows as I would to practise 'hot husbanding'. No clue? This is another tiresome trend apparently growing in popularity (sceptical face). It is when a wife finds their husband so 'hot' that it arouses her to watch him having no-strings sex with a woman of her choosing but at no point getting involved. Well. If I had to sit on a hardback chair watching my husband's buttocks bobbing away atop a stranger it'd put me off coitus for life. It's why I've never gone for a mirrored ceiling.

Katherine Ryan admits she's ‘conflicted' about sending son Fred, 4, to school full-time

'I think you'd be doing a girl like Princess a disservice by holding her back… If Violet wanted to go that path I would absolutely support her. I've kept her off social media for at least a decade, but now, she's really in the mix, she's really good on TikTok and she has decided that she wants to be a lot more forward facing, she likes doing presenting, she likes acting and stuff and I think if she's 16 and that's what she wants to do then I will support her in that.'
