Their victory was described as 'completely astounding' by musical director Imogen Nicholas.

Ms Nicholas said: "One of the judges told us they are the highest marks ever awarded to a children's choir in that Eisteddfod, which is the crème de la crème of Eisteddfodau.
"The choir deserve this success so much.
"They have given up a lot for this; they wanted it, and they got it.
"I am so incredibly proud of them."
The award ceremony was delayed by a medical incident that led to the cancellation of the Uniting Nations concert on July 9.
The presentation took place the following day and was led by Dr Rhys Davies, who sponsors the competition with his wife Anne in memory of their son, Owen.
Dr Davies said: "The Young Choir of the World prize is given in memory of our son, Owen Davies.
"It means so much to see the Musical Originals Singers, with their wonderful energy and talent, receive this award.
"Owen's name lives on through the music, joy, and cultural spirit that this prize represents, and I know he would be immensely proud of this incredible choir."
Ms Nicholas revealed the practical challenges of transporting their success home.
She said: "The trophy is so heavy we couldn't get it on the flight back."

She added that it will eventually be placed on public display at a museum in Jersey.
The Eisteddfod team praised the choir's achievement, calling it a testament to the event's tradition of celebrating musical excellence and cultural exchange.
The prize fund for the 2026 competition is now open, with all donations going directly to competitors.

Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor band to perform at national music final

Y Ddelwedd, an A-level band from Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor, will compete in the BBC Wales Battle of the Bands at this year's National Eisteddfod in Wrexham and perform on the Llwyfan y Maes stage on Wednesday, August 6. Hari Emlyn Davies, band member, said: "We've only been together for less than a year, so it's been a shock to reach the final of Brwydr y Bandiau, and getting to play on the main Eisteddfod field. "We've had loads of support from the staff and students in Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor. "The lecturers have been really supportive and have allowed us to flourish artistically and creatively. "We've played a few gigs in college, but this is going to be the highlight of the year so far." The group is made up of Hari Emlyn Davies, Enlli Jones, Owen Wyn Jones, Cian Clinc, Eban Davies and Isaac Parsons, who study at the college's Pwllheli and Dolgellau campuses. Being chosen as Battle of the Bands finalists is an impressive achievement for Y Ddelwedd, given they only played their first gig in February this year. The band will compete for a £1,000 prize and the opportunity to perform on the Maes B stage on Saturday, August 9. Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor said the band's success is an inspiration to others. Fflur Rees Jones, assistant principal, said: "Y Ddelwedd being confirmed as finalists in this year's BBC Wales Battle of the Bands at the National Eisteddfod is a moment of immense pride for us at Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor.
