Josie Gibson admits she's 'skint' and moving 'back into caravan'
Josie, known for hosting ITV's This Morning, has been busy filming a new series, Josie Gibson's Big Country Build, which sees her renovate her Somerset home into an eco-friendly haven, with the help of her loved ones.
A promotional video for the new seven-part series was shown on GMB, in which Josie shared the reality of taking on such a big construction project, admitting it has left her "skint".
During her interview, she also spoke of the challenges she's faced working so closely with her family and friends on the renovation.
Ranvir kicked things off by pointing out, "You know what, you used to live in a caravan before all of this, and now, just a few years later, you've bought this enormous house. You're a great British success story, Josie!" However, Josie admitted: "Well, I'm moving back into a caravan, I don't know about that!"
Josie went on to explain that her "dream" has always been to build an eco-friendly property "as off-grid as possible". The TV favourite is working with her brothers, Josh and Charlie, who are scrap metal traders, her cousin Tom, a builder, and a team of locals to help transform her home in Somerset. Josie admitted on GMB that this came with its challenges. She told Ed and Ranvir, "I've actually roped the family in. They say never to work with family or animals, and I've done just that. To say my stress levels are up here... They are great, they are amazing, but there are a lot of challenges, let's say."
However, the This Morning host appeared to have no regrets about taking on such a big project, despite the "massive obstacles" she's faced in the process.
"I've had a lot of sleepless nights," mum-of-one Josie admitted. "Sometimes, you get this great big dream and you follow your dreams, but you don't realise, with those dreams, there could be quite a lot of hurdles." Josie Gibson's Big Country Build (Image: ITV)
Josie's new ITV series, produced by MGM Alternative, is set to air in 2026. ITV has yet to confirm an official release date.
The new TV project follows her four-part Channel 5 travel series, Around the World in First Class, which premiered earlier this year. The series featured the star travelling to locations including Hong Kong.

Illegal migrant LIVE STREAMS step by step channel crossing & boasts ‘my dream was to come here' from 4 star asylum hotel
AN ILLEGAL migrant boasted on TikTok of crossing the Channel by dinghy, saying: 'Tell your friends to come.' The man racked up nearly a million views with a step-by-step guide to crossing the Channel on a small boat — and then told others to follow him as he revelled in his taxpayer-funded asylum hotel. 7 A migrant posted a step-by-step guide to crossing the Channel on a small boat Credit: Tiktok 7 Alexandra420, pictured above in a life-jacket, smirks in a video from the dinghy 7 The smug migrant shows TikTok fans his view from the window of his asylum hotel Credit: Tiktok 7 He also took part in a live Q&A with his followers Known as Alexandra420, he said his wish had come true and that this was 'the best place' during a TikTok livestream at his free accommodation near Heathrow. His taunts come as figures reveal 50,271 people have crossed in a small boat since Labour and Sir Keir Starmer took office last year. Last night Reform leader Nigel Farage MP told The Sun: 'This is yet another total humiliation for our country. "The Prime Minister's soft-touch approach and refusal to address the root cause of illegal Channel crossings has turned the UK into a global laughing stock.' READ MORE ON ILLEGAL MIGRANTS SEA CHANGE How Med island once swamped by illegal migrants has seen arrivals shrink to ZERO TikTok influencer Alexandra, who has 70,000 followers, left Calais in a dinghy at around 4am on Saturday. His first video was a 13-second clip from the middle of the Channel, showing a French lifeboat alongside his dinghy, which was full of fellow migrants. The next clip showed him grinning in an orange life jacket and pointing to the sky. A third video, bizarrely set to the theme tune of US TV drama Prison Break, showed the vessel surrounded by massive freight ships, while in a fourth he dipped his designer trainers in the water. He was one of 435 arrivals on Saturday, and was taken in by Border Force officials to be processed at Manston, Kent. He was then bussed to the four-star Crowne Plaza hotel in West Drayton, near Heathrow. The migrant, thought to be from Afghanistan, treats TikTok viewers to a tour of his room, which had two single beds and a double plus an en-suite bathroom. He also shows them the view from his window. Small boat crossings under Labour are on brink of hitting 50,000 - one illegal migrant every 11 mins since the election Triumphing in his good fortune, he said: 'This is dedicated to those haters who were happy thinking we either drowned or ended up dead.' In a later livestream he claimed their boat began to deflate halfway through the crossing and could have capsized if Border Force officials had not rescued them. He said: 'It was dangerous. Our boat sank. It was punctured. The water came from the inside of the boat. "On the other side, three people pumped the water. If the British boats hadn't come in an hour, we would have been in trouble.' Those who want to come, this is the best place TikTok influencer Alexandra He then encouraged others to pay thousands to people-smugglers to make the same perilous journey. He ranted: 'I risked my life, I spent my money, I came. Your country is not your mother. "Those who want to come, this is the best place. Don't be stingy. Your country is not your father, that you are so stingy. Live your life. 'Tell your four friends to come. Why are you so stingy? Being stingy is not good for God. You see, I risked my life! Why don't you come? My wish was to come to this hotel and live. I came here just for this.' 7 Fellow illegal migrants can be seen in the boat in another clip 7 The migrant's room has two single beds, a double and an en-suite Credit: Tiktok He also revealed how he beat warnings of deportation, claiming he had been told by UK officials: 'If I send you to France, you won't have any problem.' But he replied: 'I will commit suicide.' He went on: 'I just said it, and he got angry. I told them, and right there, I swore an oath.' Spinning on his chair with his arms in the air, he then shouted: 'Welcome to London!' It's disgraceful that illegal immigrants are saying it's their dream to be put up in a hotel Chris Philp In total, the migrant posted eight videos before taking part in a live Q&A with his followers in the Afghan dialect Pashto. His viewers appeared to include other asylum seekers in different hotels across the country. One told the host, who flashed his purple room key card, that the Crowne Plaza was 'a nice place'. The videos had a combined 870,000 views before being taken down during a second livestream when The Sun alerted TikTok. 7 The Heathrow Crowne Plaza has been housing migrants for more than four years, and has an 8ft security fence Credit: Dan Charity Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp blasted: 'It is disgraceful that illegal immigrants are saying it is their dream to be put up in a hotel, all paid for by the British taxpayer. 'This is a sick joke. Anyone coming to the UK illegally must be swiftly deported.' Dozens of migrants have made social media posts celebrating their arrival in the UK. The Heathrow Crowne Plaza used to cost guests £120 a night — but has been housing migrants for more than four years, and has an 8ft security fence. Facilities include a luxury swimming pool with steam room and sauna, gym, an Irish bar, two large restaurants and a theatre. More illegal arrivals were brought in on packed buses yesterday alongside vans delivering food. One Afghan man told The Sun: 'I came to Britain a few days ago on a boat from France. This hotel is nice and we get fed and given clothes. Life is nice here so far.' A TikTok spokeswoman said it has a zero-tolerance approach to content promoting people-smuggling. A Home Office spokeswoman said it is unacceptable 'to promote the criminal services of people-traffickers or for social media companies to allow it'. Laws are being brought in to make it easier to prosecute, she added.

Jeremy Clarkson launches new version of UK favourite product only available to customers of his pub
DIDDLY SQUIRT Jeremy Clarkson launches new version of UK favourite product only available to customers of his pub JEREMY Clarkson is to finally offer tomato ketchup to punters at his The Farmer's Dog boozer after a UK firm produced an all-British one. TV star Jezza, 65, will also flog bottles of the condiment at his Diddly Squat farm as it meets his UK-only ingredients condition. 2 Jeremy Clarkson is to finally offer tomato ketchup to punters at his boozer after a UK firm produced an all-British one An Isle of Wight company took on the challenge after the subject arose on Clarkson's Farm. It came after thousands of requests for ketchup at Jezza's pub in Burford, Oxon, saw staff put up a sign urging diners not to bother asking for it. The firm, Condimaniac, uses Isle of Wight tomato passata, apple cider vinegar from Hants, Essex salt and British sugar and onions. Boss Kier Kemp said: 'Making a 100 per cent British ketchup after Jeremy Clarkson alerted us to the fact there wasn't one was very hard. "We had to put on our big boy pants.' The firm made 1,700 bottles for its first order to be sold at the pub's one-stop butcher and bottle shop and at Clarkson's farm in Chipping Norton. The firm's own supplies of the £7.95 red sauce have sold out. A source close to Clarkson's pub said: 'Jeremy and the team support the British food and farming industry. 'So he made no apologies for not selling ketchup, no matter how many times staff had to let customers down. 'But the pub's always said that if a British company could do it with all-British ingredients, it would get on the menu. Clarkson's Farm star Harriet Cowan admits she is 'not making any money from farming' despite show appearance 'Hopefully it'll be a success.'

Noel Edmonds reveals he's buying house in the UK after show about his farm in New Zealand is AXED
He has opened up about the 'smiley' part of the country, which is where he plans to buy a house NOEL'S HOUSE PARTY Noel Edmonds reveals he's buying house in the UK after show about his farm in New Zealand is AXED TV presenter Noel Edmonds has bought a new home on the Isle of Man. The former Deal Or No Deal and Noel's House Party host, 76, plans to divide his time between his property, believed to be in the north of the island, and New Zealand. Advertisement 4 Noel Edmonds is buying a house in the UK after his show about his farm in New Zealand was axed Credit: Instagram 4 His Kiwi Adventure show was recently axed Credit: PA He claimed the island's 'massive community spirit' and sense of pride is what attracted him to make the move. 'I came for the very first time three years ago, and when you consider I lived in the UK all my life and I knew where it was geographically, I don't know why I didn't come before,' Noel told Manx Radio. 'I have purchased a property on the island, and I intend to spend some of the year here, but my principal home is New Zealand.' Noel dubbed the island 'the Smile of Man' because 'everyone seems so happy' and people 'look out for each other'. Advertisement He added: 'What's drawn me to the Smile of Man… you're bloody proud of the island, you're proud of the community, and across the water there [in the UK], you don't get that anymore.' It comes after ITV axed his Kiwi Adventure series, which aired in June and followed his life in New Zealand with his fifth wife, Liz. Noel, who moved there in 2018, had reportedly hoped the three-parter would become a fixture on the channel, but it failed to be a ratings hit. A TV insider told The Sun earlier this month: 'It's a blow to Noel as he was convinced he was on to a winning idea. Advertisement 'There was a great buzz around the series and it was well received by both viewers and critics alike. 'But it needed big numbers to spark a follow-up and attracting 1-1.5million per episode just wasn't enough.' Noel Edmonds reunites with 90s sidekick Mr Blobby on Good Morning Britain Sources close to Noel confirmed his disappointment but insisted other major factors were behind the decision — namely, the extreme weather. A source close to Noel told us: 'River Haven has been hit badly by flooding, it's made working on the estate almost impossible. Advertisement 'That would have meant filming would have been seriously hampered.' They added: 'As far as Noel is concerned, the show has been put on ice.' The Sun first revealed Noel was returning to TV last year after signing a £1million deal with the ITV. Over the past year he's been spotted making the most of his time on the Isle of Man, with visits to the Southern Agricultural Show in Ballasalla, the Milntown Estate in Ramsey, and even taking in the action at the infamous TT Races. Advertisement "I love the Isle of Man. I've been here a few times before," Noel said previously. 'This is my first TT – I've always wanted to come, and I live in New Zealand so I've travelled 11,000 miles to be here.' Locals who spotted Noel out and about were quick to notice an unusual quirk about the TV star. He frequently wore mismatched shoes - one light brown lace-up boot and one darker slip-on. Advertisement A spokesperson for the star claimed at the time: 'He loves doing quirky things just for the fun of it.' 4 Noel will soon buy a home in the UK Credit: PA
