But I can reveal a large part of it will also feature Rebekah as well as their luxurious homelife.
And if it sparks an interest among viewers it may lead to a spin-off At Home With...series.
The move comes after it emerged that her arch rival, Coleen Rooney was set to sign a similar deal for her show with Disney+.
It has been known for months that Netflix had a new documentary about Jamie's incredible journey from non-league footballer to Premier League champion in the works.
But it was thought to be almost entirely football-focused, and barely feature Rebekah or any kind of domestic insights.
A TV insider said: "Netflix have taken such an interest in the Vardys because of their natural love of all things controversial.
"Plus, they saw how the David Beckham documentary was such a hit, not just because it touched on football but because of the scenes of domestic life that came with it.
"Though this will be on a different level to the Beckham documentary, they want to tap into some of that with the Vardy show, and it's undoubtedly a real coup for her.
"Getting so much 'airtime' on Netflix gives her a real platform - and scope to branch out."
Coleen Rooney lined up to sign £1million ITV deal after I'm A Celebrity
The documentary, set to air later this year, would go some way to helping Rebekah with her legal costs following the high-profile Wagatha Christie libel trial against Coleen in 2022.
But it's unlikely to diminish the rivalry between them...
Netflix were approached but said: "No comment."
Coleen Rooney's surprising bad habit
COLEEN Rooney has revealed the embarrassing habit hubby Wayne reckons will annoy her I'm A celebrity campmates.
She's usually preened and perfect - but the WAG has confessed she snores.
Coleen said: 'I didn't think I snored, but Wayne says I snore.
'Not continuously though – just every now and again.
'I have been in the public eye for over 20 years now and people take what they want from it.
'I do think people will get a better idea of what kind of person I am.'

Apple TV+ abruptly hikes prices

Apple TV has raised its prices by 33 percent — joining a host of other streamings hiking subscription costs. New US subscribers paying $12.99 per month starting August 21. That's up $3 from the current $9.99 rate and marks the first increase since October 2023. Existing subscribers will see the higher price applied within 30 days of their next renewal date. Last month, Peacock announced increases of up to 40 percent , highlighting a broader industry trend as streaming platforms seek profitability after years of heavy investment in premium content. Netflix has raised prices this year too, while Disney, HBO Max and Paramount+ are tipped to hike prices before the end of the year after increases last summer. Apple justified the increase by pointing to the expansion of its ad-free library. 'Since its launch, Apple TV+ has expanded its deep library of hundreds of Apple Originals, with thousands of hours of premium programming across genres and brand-new releases weekly — all ad-free,' the company said in a statement. 'Subscribers can explore a rich offering of thrilling dramas, epic sci-fi, feel-good comedies, and live sports.' Customers questioned the price rise. 'I signed up when it was $4.99. I wasn't happy after it drifted up to $9.99. This is a step to far. I am cancelling,' Alex Palmer, 33, from Los Angeles, told Daily Mail. The price hike applies in the US and select international markets, though Apple has not specified which foreign countries will be affected. The company has not indicated whether the change will affect Apple One, its bundled subscription service. Upcoming premieres include season four of The Morning Show on September 17, season five of Slow Horses on September 24, Vince Gilligan's Pluribus on November 7, and films like Highest Two Lowest on September 5 and The Lost Bus on October 3. Apple TV+ is also home to Emmy-nominated shows like Severance and Seth Rogen's The Studio, as well as kids programming, Peanuts specials, and live sports, including Major League Baseball's Friday Night Baseball and Major League Soccer matches. The service has been losing more than $1 billion annually, as spending on premium content has exceeded revenue, according to a March 2025 report by The Information. Apple has not broken out financial results for the service and has not publicly commented on the losses. The streaming service originally launched in November 2019 at $4.99 a month and has gradually increased pricing as it expanded its content library. Over the past 18 months, all the major streamers have increased prices. In January, Netflix raised prices for its ad tier subscription to $7.99. Paramount Plus did the same last June . Max, Hulu, and Disney+ all hiked their entry level prices to $9.99, while Prime Video costs $8.99 a month.

‘I wrote my latest album while pretending to be the PM's kidnapped husband'

'So you were getting kidnapped and writing music at the same time?' I ask. 'Yeah, but it was good. This is what I worked for,' award-winning rapper and actor Ashley Thomas replies. For your peace of mind, Ashley – also known by his stage name Bashy – was completely safe and speaking from the comfort of his own home during our interview. But during the filming of his latest Netflix series Hostage, which stars Suranne Jones and Julie Deply, the 40-year-old was certainly not. Dubbed already as 'brilliant' by fans following its release today, the five-part political thriller sees Alex (Ashley) – Prime Minister Abigail Dalton's husband – abducted by a masked gang while he is in French Guiana on a Doctors Without Borders project. The ransom request sent to Abigail (Suranne) says she must resign from Downing Street by the following day, or they'll start killing the doctors one by one. Speaking with Metro, Ashley described the series as 'gripping, suspenseful and emotional… but also relatable because there are strong themes of family and love and how far you'll go to protect your loved ones'. Delving into his preparation for the role, he also explained: 'I read an amazing book by David Knott, called War Doctor, where he was a surgeon who worked in conflict zones and the book details him surviving places like Afghanistan, Sierra Leone and Iraq. 'I drew a lot of inspiration from him and that served as the foundation for building this character and what it feels like to work in a conflict zone.' Much like his character, Ashley boasts a quite remarkable career. The Hammersmith born talent was part of the UK's emerging grime scene in his late teens, rapping on pirate radio stations, before he released Ur Mum Vol.1 in the mid 2000s. Following its success, his next album Chupa Chups saw him skyrocket to fame in 2006. After working as a music advisor on Noel Clarke's Adulthood in 2008, he landed a role in the movie shank in 2010, which would serve as a platform for his acting career as he went on to make appearances in shows like Black Mirror, The Night Of and Top Boy. Amazon Prime's Them in 2021 further cemented Ashley's status as a major force in the acting world, before he went on to star in The Ipcress File. But despite his latest foray into the acting world with Hostage, and most recently with In Flight on Channel 4, the 40-year-old continues to dip his toes into the music world as well as acting. 'This is what I hoped, that I could do music and act at the same time,' he says. 'I make sure that I'm giving my full self to each project or thing that I'm doing, but I feel very fortunate and very blessed to be in this position. More Trending 'And I think sometimes they [music and acting] can compliment each other.' In the latter episodes of Hostage, French president Vivienne Toussaint (Deply) attempts to use his kidnapping for political point scoring. The two world leaders are locked in tense negotiations over Channel boat crossings and NHS medication supplies. But there's suddenly more to play for when it emerges that Abigail's husband has been taken on French territory. View More » Hostage is available to watch on Netflix. Got a story?
