Taylor Swift pulled out pricey accessories to announce her next era, including an $11,400 necklace
Swift wore luxe jewelry for the occasion, including a Cartier watch and necklace.
Diamonds and gold have become staples of the superstar's understated wardrobe.
Even in her new era, Taylor Swift remains bejeweled.
At 12:12 a.m. on Tuesday, the superstar announced her 12th studio album, "The Life of a Showgirl," in a teaser for the coming episode of "New Heights," a podcast hosted by her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and his brother, Jason Kelce. The full episode will be released on Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET.
In the clip, Swift looks unexpectedly casual. Her hair is styled in loose waves, her signature red lip has been replaced with an orange hue, and she's wearing a white, button-up blouse.
That's because she let her jewelry do all the talking.
The flashiest piece she wore for the podcast appearance appears to be a Santos Demoiselle watch from Cartier. The luxury brand doesn't currently sell the model, but it's listed on resale websites at prices between $17,000 and $27,000.
Her Panthère de Cartier necklace was a close competitor. It retails for $11,400 and is made with a mix of 18-carat yellow gold, a tsavorite garnet stone, and 19 diamonds. She's worn it before on dates with Travis Kelce in New York City.
She also wore an assortment of nondescript rings, a gold bracelet, and a sold-out, tan version of Sandy Liang's Paris skort, which costs $625.
Swift, of course, is constantly decked out in extravagant jewels and designer pieces.
Many will remember her daring Grammys outfit earlier this year, which included a corseted minidress and a leg chain with a T initial charm. She designed the ruby piece with Lorraine Schwartz.
Her wardrobe last year was even more glamorous and was estimated to be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.
She wore $108,000 worth of diamond earrings at the 2024 Golden Globes, a $75,000 outfit to a Chiefs game, and $66,000 worth of clothes and accessories for a friend's wedding, among other looks.
We don't know the details yet, but something about Swift's coming era seems different — maybe even more relaxed. After all, she announced this new album in a podcast teaser.
Her fashion, though, seems to be the same: simple, striking, and undeniably luxe.

Why Patrick Mahomes thinks Taylor Swift's new album will be 'amazing'
Everyone is excited for Taylor Swift's New Heights debut on Wednesday night, including quarterback Patrick Mahomes. The Kansas City star -- and best friend and teammate of New Heights co-host Travis Kelce -- talked about the internet-breaking appearance during Chiefs training camp. Although Mahomes doesn't know anything more about the podcast than we do, even though he made sure to point out he knew before the general public. "They called me after the podcast was done," Mahomes told reporters before amending his statement slightly. "They didn't call me, they called Brittany [his wife]. I was like in the back of the FaceTime." Mahomes went on to heap praise on the 14-time Grammy winner, saying that her new album The Life Of A Showgirl is certain to be great just based on her work ethic. "Just knowing Taylor and seeing the process from just a little bit closer of how she makes the albums. It's going to be amazing because of how much work she puts into it." "What better place to announce it than New Heights podcast where I feel like she can be herself and showcase who she is," he said. "I haven't seen it yet, I've seen a little bit of the clips just like everybody else, but I'll be tuned in tonight." What time is the New Heights podcast with Taylor Swift? Andy Reid And Patrick Mahomes React To Taylor Swift Appearing On Travis Kelce's Podcast
When Taylor Swift appears with her partner, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, on the podcast he co-hosts with his brother, Jason, it's likely to shatter ratings records. But Chiefs head coach Andy Reid had a more wry take. 'I'm like really old,' the 67-year-old Reid said, jokingly. 'My grandkids will be all over it.' Reid, who previously was the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, had actually met Swift, a Pennsylvania native who comes from a family of Eagles fans, prior to her meeting Kelce. He praised her relationship with the Pro Bowl tight end. 'It's a neat deal,' he said. 'I'm happy for them. Both of them like each other, and what a plus that is. They care about each other, and I think that's the most important thing. The older you get, you want these guys to have somebody they can settle down with and that whole deal.' Swift is slated to discuss the drop of her 12th album called 'The Life of a Showgirl' on New Heights with Jason & Travis, which will be released at 7 p.m. EST. Since the podcast's debut in 2022, it has been a rating hit, capitalizing on the rapport between the brothers, whose respective teams faced off in Super Bowl LVII in the first year of the podcast. The MVP of Super Bowl LVII — along with Super Bowl LIX and Super Bowl LVIII — Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes has guest starred on it. With the Chiefs having a day off from practice on Thursday as they travel for Friday night's preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks, Mahomes said he looked forward to listening to the podcast on Wednesday night. 'I'm obviously super excited, just knowing Taylor and seeing the process from just a little bit closer of how she makes the albums. It's going to be amazing because of how much work she puts into it,' Mahomes said. 'What better place to announce it than the New Heights podcast.' It's a big week for Kelce, who also appears on the cover of GQ. In the in-depth cover story, he discusses his relationship with Swift. 'When there is not a camera on us, we're just two people that are in love. It can be perceived as something else because of how much it is talked about and how much we are tracked whenever we do go out,' he told GQ. 'We are two fun-loving people who have the morals to appreciate everyone for who they are. We share all those values.' Kelce, who trained in South Florida this offseason while shedding noticeable weight to get in shape for the 2025 NFL season, went to the Everglades for the GQ photo shoot and held snakes and alligators. Though Mahomes said the photos turned out well, the quarterback emphatically stated he would never attempt something like that. 'I would 100 % not,' Mahomes said. 'Even in the Everglades in general, it's just not my spot.' Reid had another amusing response. 'It's great to be young,' he said. 'I'm not sure who was madder: Travis or the alligator.'
