Tattersalls Gold Cup on the agenda again for White Birch
Following almost a year off the track, White Birch made his long-awaited return in the Mooresbridge earlier this month and connections could not have been more delighted with his performance in defeat as the grey pushed last year's Irish Derby winner and Arc third Los Angeles to a neck.

George Murphy, assistant to his father, said: 'It was a great run and we couldn't be happier with him.
'He had a long time off the track and you'd be hoping he'll improve for the run. He's been in super form all spring, of course you're a bit nervous when they've been off that long but he showed himself very well and we're delighted with him.
'He seems to have come out of it well and we're looking forward to getting him out again.'
Aidan O'Brien nominated the Tattersalls Gold Cup and the Prince of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot as likely targets for Los Angeles in the aftermath of his recent success and there appears to be every chance White Birch will take him on in both races.
'He's in the Coronation Cup at Epsom, but I'd imagine we'll go for the Tattersalls Gold Cup and go to Ascot after that – that would be the way it's looking at the moment,' Murphy added.
'He (Los Angeles) is a very good horse and I'm sure he'll be tough to beat again, but we'll look forward to it.'

Dodgers reliever Brock Stewart (shoulder) placed on 15-day IL
August 13 - Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Brock Stewart is being placed on the 15-day injured list with right shoulder inflammation, manager Dave Roberts told reporters Tuesday. Roberts said he believes that the team caught this situation early. Stewart last appeared in a game on Aug. 9 vs. Toronto, tossing a scoreless inning. He'll undergo testing on Wednesday, per Roberts. Stewart, who was drafted by the Dodgers in 2014, returned to the organization as a trade-deadline acquisition from the Minnesota Twins. He's made four appearances for the Dodgers, allowing two earned runs over 3 2/3 innings. The right-handed pitcher has posted a 2.63 ERA over a career-high 37.2 innings this season while making a career-high 43 appearances, 15 more than he's made in any prior season. Chargers WR Ladd McConkey (undisclosed) returns to practice
August 13 - Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey was back at practice and participating in 11-on-11 drills Tuesday after missing time with an undisclosed injury, according to The Athletic. Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh had previously said that McConkey was "working through something minor" while not disclosing which body part he had injured. McConkey had been limited or absent the last two weeks of practice before returning on Tuesday, per media reports. McConkey also refused to disclose what injury he had been dealing with, simply saying, "I'm good." "I feel really good. It felt great to get back out there a little bit, catching passes," McConkey said. " ... I feel like I'm (100 percent) now. It's just building everything back up, getting in the swing of things, getting my conditioning back where it needs to be." McConkey is looking to build on a breakout rookie season in 2024 during which he led the team and set Chargers regular-season rookie records with 82 receptions and 1,149 receiving yards, breaking records previously set by Keenan Allen in 2013, to go along with his seven touchdown catches. In his playoff debut, McConkey set an NFL rookie postseason record with 197 receiving yards in the Chargers' 32-12 loss at Houston.
