South African musician and reality television star Londie London has officially taken legal action against radio presenter Minnie Ntuli, serving her with legal papers in a move that has sparked widespread public interest.
This follows a tense moment on the recent two-part reunion episode of season 5 of 'The Real Housewives of Durban', where an unaired clip was shown to viewers, capturing a heated altercation between Ntuli and London.
In the video, the confrontation escalates when Ntuli takes offence at a question London posed about her upbringing, interpreting it as a slight against her parents.
What began as an uncomfortable exchange quickly intensified: Ntuli hurled a cushion, approached London aggressively and accused her of disrespecting and 'dishonouring' her family.
This was after London pointedly asked who raised Ntuli, implying that her conduct suggested a lack of respect for others.
The clash culminated in Ntuli throwing insults and repeatedly poking London in the forehead, leaving both London and viewers stunned.
Despite the physical and verbal aggression, London remained composed, labelling Ntuli as 'horrible' and a 'bully,' and questioning her overall behaviour.
During the reunion, London revealed that she would be pursuing legal action. On Wednesday, July 16, she confirmed through social media that she had officially served Ntuli with legal papers through her representatives, Lamula KB Attorneys.

The legal documents set out serious claims, stating:
'We can confirm that we act on behalf of Ms Londiwe Zulu, hereinafter referred to as our client, and on whose instruction, we write this letter to your good selves.
"Take note that our client elects our offices as her domicilium citandi et executandi, at which addresses she shall henceforth receive all communications, notices and pleadings relating to the matter herein, without limiting the generality thereof."
"Our failure to address any aspect relating to this matter should not be construed as a waiver of our client's rights, and we reserve on behalf of our client the right to do so at the relevant forum and when appropriate and necessary.'
The letter further accuses Ntuli of persistently defaming London on 'The Real Housewives of Durban', as well as of assaulting her during the second reunion episode that aired on July 11. It highlights that London never received a direct apology from Ntuli before a statement was released by Gagasi FM, the station where Ntuli works.
'It is our instruction that during the second episode of the reunion aired on July 11, 2025, you assaulted our client unprovoked and continued to do so even when she was not physically responding to your assault,' the letter states.
'On or about 12 July 2025, you sent our client an SMS purporting to be an apology, still in this message, you refer to Gagasi FM, which again clearly reiterates that it was sent to save your working relationship with them.'
'To date, you have not sincerely apologised to our client for your defamatory remarks and assaults.'
As a resolution, London's attorneys have demanded that Ntuli record a 'sincere video apology' and post it across all her social media platforms by 5pm on Wednesday, July 16, failing which they intend to sue for damages and open an assault case with the South African Police Service.
Public backlash and Gagasi FM's response
Following the broadcast of the reunion, social media erupted with calls for Ntuli to be 'cancelled.' Many viewers reached out directly to Gagasi FM, demanding her removal. Responding to the uproar, the station expressed its disappointment, stating:
'Like many of our listeners and members of the public, we were shocked and disappointed by what we saw. While 'The Real Housewives of Durban' is an independent production and separate from Gagasi FM, we acknowledge that Minnie's conduct on the show has had an impact on both our brand and the community we serve.'
The station also underscored its stance against bullying and aggression.
They revealed that Ntuli had fully owned up to her actions, offered a written apology to the production and cast and committed to seeking professional help to better manage her emotions.
'Our focus is on promoting reconciliation. Both Minnie and the other cast members are professionals in the media industry, and it is likely they will work together again in the future. As a station, we are committed to supporting a process that encourages healing, forgiveness, and mutual respect,' Gagasi FM said.
Ntuli's apology and break from air
Shortly after the station's statement, Ntuli released her own, acknowledging how troubling it was to watch her own behaviour.
'Watching the show back has been deeply confronting. I am appalled by how I behaved, and I take full accountability for the role I played. I want to sincerely apologise to the affected cast members. I know my actions hurt others, and for that, I am truly sorry,' she wrote.
Ntuli noted she had reached out both publicly and privately to the people involved and was open to face-to-face conversations to make amends. She also said she was working closely with Gagasi FM management to address the fallout.
Earlier this week, Gagasi FM confirmed that Ntuli would be stepping back from her role as co-host of 'The Uprising', with Nkulee Mbatha temporarily filling her spot.
This move was welcomed by many viewers who had called for more decisive action. It remains unclear when Ntuli will return to her presenting duties.
