The Must-Have Exclusives From San Diego Comic-Con 2025

Gizmodo22-07-2025
In just a couple more days, pop culture will descend on the San Diego Convention Center as SDCC prepares to dazzle us for another year (if everyone didn't stop releasing their trailers before their panels, that is). But of course, among all the big news and astonishing cosplay, there's going to be tons of fantastic merch to get your hands on exclusive to Comic-Con. Here's our guide to some of the absolute coolest on offer.
100% Soft Galactus Vinyl
SDCC is taking place during Fantastic Four: First Steps' opening weekend, and one of our favorite artists, 100% Soft, is celebrating the marriage in style with this adorable, glittery 11-inch-tall vinyl figurine of the devourer of worlds ready to take another nibble out of Earth. Look how distressed that poor little planet is! Adorable. ($100, available at Booth #315)
Jazwares Pokémon Squirtle Squad Plushes
Jazwares has a ton of exclusives at the con this year, from Avatar: The Last Airbender to Stranger Things, but we can't help but love this totally cool five-pack of Squirtle plushies, inspired by the arrival of the Squirtle Squad in the classic Pokémon anime. ($100, available at Booth # 3513)
Bandai S.H. MonsterArts Godzilla 2023
Godzilla is all over SDCC this year celebrating his 70th anniversary, but the cream of the crop has to be this exclusive take on the MonsterArts figure for the King of All Kaiju as he appeared in the seminal Godzilla Minus One. The new colorway depicts Godzilla's back glowing with blue energy as he prepares to discharge his atomic breath (which is, of course, included as a similarly electric-colored FX piece). ($160, available at both Booth # 3329and # 3345)
Star Wars Unlimited Droid Blueprint Cards
Fantasy Flight Games is bringing its Star Wars TCG to SDCC in style with this special pack of convention-exclusive cards. The six-pack includes Unlimited cards for C-3PO, BB-8, Chopper, R2-D2, BD-1, and L3-37 in a special blueprint-style design variant, complete in a special card box designed to look like R2. ($100, available at Booth #2913E and other conventions throughout the year).
Mattel Jurassic World Tyrannosaurus Rex Convention Crasher
This brilliant homage to The Lost World's San Diego-set climax sees a T. Rex come calling, petrifying con-goers like the included human figure dressed in a perpetual convention cosplay staple: the inflatable dinosaur costume. And, of course, there's even a convention banner for the T. Rex to menace, and the packaging itself is inspired by the design of the San Diego Convention Center! ($85, available at Booth #2945 and online from July 24)
Mondo X-Men '97 1/6 Savage Land Rogue
Inspired by its appearance in the Disney+ animated series explaining Rogue and Magneto's backstory together, this take on Mondo's animated Rogue figure gives Anna-Marie her torn-up Savage Land look, as well as a suitably forested jungle base, a staff, and other accessories, including several alternate heads with the most dramatically tousled hair possible. ($255, available at Booth #5045 and online from July 23)
Hasbro Star Wars Black Series Revenge of the Sith Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi 2-Pack
Hasbro has lots of exclusives at the con for its various toy lines, but the very best has to be its celebration of Revenge of the Sith's 20th anniversary this year. Two newly updated figures of Anakin and Obi-Wan (including alternate heads inspired by their appearance in the climax of the film's duel on Mustafar) would be good enough, but the set is made remarkable by the massive display base recreating the lava platform the two cross sabers on briefly during the epic Battle of the Heroes sequence, raised to 'float' atop licking flames. ($110, available at Booth #3213 and online at a later date).
Factory Entertainment Star Trek Desktop Viewer Scaled Prop Replica
This very cute 3-inch-tall replica of the personal computer interfaces from the original Star Trek includes multiple replaceable graphics for the viewscreen, including a technical readout of the Enterprise and stills from the TV show of Spock and Uhura. Just try not to crush it under your fist in a fit of Vulcan rage. ($70, available at Booth #2743 and online)
NECA Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Bodacious Beach Bros Pack
NECA is bringing a suitably summery set of Ninja Turtles to the con this year, with a four-pack of Leo, Donnie, Mikey, and Raph inspired by their appearances across multiple episodes of the beloved 1987 cartoon. Each Turtle has a beachwear look, accessories like hats and sunglasses, and their own surfboards, which can be posed on an included wave display base for maximum 'tude. Oh, and of course, there's plenty of pizza included for post-surf snacking. ($150, available at Booth #3545)
Many, Many (Many) Funko Pops
It wouldn't be a convention if Funko didn't bring an absolute swath of special variant Pop Vinyls to ensure that its booth is perpetually packed with queues of con-goers. Highlights this year include celebrations of 15 years of the line, with special vinyls of Batman, Robin, and the Penguin replicating the original pop packaging; the X-Men's Dazzler and Fantastic Four: First Steps' HERBIE representing Marvel; an adorably-eared Naruto; and so much more. (available at Booth #5341 and online from various retailers starting July 24—see the graphic above for more info!)

Pregnant Rihanna Outfits Her Growing Baby Bump in a Pastel Pink Confection of a Dress

The singer announced her pregnancy in May at the 2025 Met GalaNEED TO KNOW Rihanna wore a pastel pink gown that showed off her baby bump The singer accessorized with sneakers and statement jewelry Rihanna announced her pregnancy in May at the 2025 Met GalaRihanna continues to raise the bar when it comes to maternity fashion. On Tuesday, Aug. 5, the 37-year-old Fenty founder stepped out in Los Angeles wearing a floor-length pastel-colored dress with a structured neckline. The sleeveless ensemble features a pink and yellow pattern with subtle baby blue and neon yellow accents. Rihanna teamed the dress with oversize earrings and a rose ring and, for a casual twist, some lime green sneakers. The star's hair was partially pulled back and she sported a soft, pink-toned makeup look. The soon-to-be mother of three, who is expecting her third baby with partner A$AP Rocky, has been showing off her stellar maternity style throughout her pregnancy. On July 20, she was photographed in Santa Monica, Calif., after having dinner at Giorgio Baldi wearing a navy blue ERL suit jacket left open to reveal her bare baby bump and a Savage x Fenty sheer bralette. Related: The singer accessorized with a polka-dot ERL necktie and a pair of gold necklaces featuring the names of her two sons, Riot, 23 months, and RZA, 3. While stepping out for dinner at Giorgio Baldi following the L.A. premiere of Smurfs on July 13, Rihanna donned a white two-piece look by Alaïa's Pieter Mulier that showcased her bump. The top included a hood that draped down into a high neckline, while the floor-length skirt featured a sculptural roll of padding around the waistband, creating a flared look at her hips. Rihanna completed the look with black rectangular shades and a stack of diamond bracelets. For the world premiere of Smurfs in Brussels on June 28, the nine-time Grammy winner stepped out with Rocky wearing a flowy look with a sheer center section that revealed her bump. The custom Chanel ensemble, which featured a celadon green silk chiffon top and skirt, took 840 hours to make, according to the fashion house. The set was embellished with sequins, crystals and feathers. Per Chanel, the look was inspired by the brand's haute couture spring 2003 collection and came complete with a tone-on-tone organza and feather camelia, as well as jeweled buttons. Rihanna and Rocky revealed that they were expecting their third child at the Met Gala in May. A source told PEOPLE in July that the couple are "thrilled" to become parents to a third child, adding that they've "really embraced this chapter and their bond has only deepened since becoming parents." According to the insider, Rocky "has been incredibly attentive and nurturing throughout this pregnancy." That means "changing diapers, doing bedtime routines, and keeping" his sons "entertained." "He's completely tuned into [Rihanna's] needs," the source said of the rapper. Read the original article on People

The Duchess of Sussex's latest rosé is described as "perfect for summer's end"NEED TO KNOW Meghan Markle dropped a new vintage of wine from her lifestyle line The 2024 Napa Valley Rosé is the second alcoholic beverage from As ever Meghan's debut rosé, a 2023 edition, sold out within an hour on July 1Meghan Markle is pouring more wine from her As ever brand. On Aug. 5, the Duchess of Sussex's lifestyle venture dropped its newest item with the release of the 2024 Napa Valley Rosé. A newsletter from As ever announced, "It's here — our 2024 Napa Valley Rosé." "With a graceful blush hue, the 2024 Napa Valley Rosé evokes the same effortlessly elegant notes of our debut vintage: delicately balanced, with soft notes of stone fruit, a gentle minerality and a lasting finish," it continued. "Reminiscent of the finest Provencal styles, this thoughtfully crafted blend is perfect for summer's end. Cheers!" The brand announced on Aug. 4, Meghan's 44th birthday, that the new rosé would become available to shop the following day. "Today, our founder celebrates another year (Happy Birthday, Meghan!) and tomorrow, we're raising a glass to celebrate our newest release!" an email newsletter from As ever said, revealing the details. "Harvested under the California sun, this dazzling vintage embodies everything we love – it's where timeless elegance meets the spirit of summer," the message said about the product. "We've worked thoughtfully to bring these exceptional bottles to you, and more of your other favorite As ever products are also being restocked shortly," it continued, referencing the shelf-stable food items from As ever's inaugural drop in April, which sold out within an hour then and again when the products were restocked in June. "There is so much to celebrate, and we're honored to share these special moments with you. Cheers to birthdays, a new vintage, and the last golden weeks of summer," concluded the note signed by the As ever team. Meghan had teased on her birthday eve that her upcoming rosé wine drop was "coming soon," and the 2024 Napa Valley Rosé is the second edition of the pink wine from the lifestyle line she unveiled earlier this year. As ever's first alcoholic beverage was the 2023 Napa Valley Rosé, and the offering was announced in the June 20 restock of As ever items. The 2023 Napa Valley Rosé became available for sale on July 1, which is both Princess Diana's birthday and the anniversary of when Meghan and Prince Harry started talking in 2016. Like As ever's other items, it sold out in less than an hour when it dropped in the shop. Can't get enough of PEOPLE's Royals coverage? to get the latest updates on Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle and more! A July 1 press release from the venture revealed future plans to expand in the wine aisle. The statement said that the 2023 Napa Valley Rosé "marks the beginning of As ever's thoughtful expansion into wine, with a Méthode Champenoise Napa Valley sparkling wine planned for the near future and additional varietals to follow."
