The trailer teases the team facing their most formidable challenge yet, with a chilling glimpse of the cosmic force Galactus.
The highly anticipated final trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps is finally here, offering a deeper look into the epic showdown led by Marvel's First Family. Kicking off the MCU's Phase 6 this summer, the film is helmed by director Matt Shakman and stars Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and The Thing. The trailer teases the team facing their most formidable challenge yet, with a chilling glimpse of the cosmic force Galactus. Julia Garner's Silver Surfer also makes a powerful impression, ominously preparing to 'herald his beginning."
The trailer opens to show the family prepared for threats, only for their Sunday Dinner to be interrupted by the Silver Surfer's entry, who tells them, 'I herald his beginning. I herald your end. I herald… Galactus."
With the lives of the people on the line, the Fantastic Four try to figure out a way to face Galactus while also facing doubts over the uncertainties. Leaning more into the family aspect of the film, the trailer also shows how the first family must not just save the world but also the people they love. 'Family is about connecting to something bigger than yourself. We'll face it together, as a family," Kirby's Sue Storm says in the trailer.
At several points, the trailer also gives glimpses of Reed Richards' and Sue Storm's baby son, Franklin. Last but not least, while the trailer did get closer to revealing the iconic Marvel villain and his story, fans will have to wait a bit longer for his final look. Marvel Studios released a new poster that gives a closer look at Galactus' face. Throughout the First Family's face-off with their most daunting challenge, one cannot miss the members' hilarious attempts to get The Thing to say the famous 'It's Clobbering Time."
It is worth mentioning that there have been several theories around the upcoming Fantastic Four film, with the final trailer also indicating that this Earth might not survive the war. This appears to justify why the Fantastic Four are set to appear on Earth-616 in Avengers: Doomsday. However, it is yet to be seen if Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom will make a cameo.
The buzz remains unconfirmed. The Fantastic Four: First Steps will be released on July 27, 2025.

Alden's words Talking to Screen Rant, Ehrenreich finally got to break his silence on playing a character with such a huge link to the wider MCU. "Well, it's nice to be a part of something that relates back to the whole legacy of the story, especially because that character was in the first real Marvel movie that started all of this." "And I had just worked with Robert Downey Jr. [on Oppenheimer] when I got this part, and so I got to talk to him about it, and that was nice," the actor continued. "I just FaceTimed with him, and I was like, 'So this has come my way, and this is the role — what do you think?' And he was like, 'Yeah, do it.'' "It's a gem of a 'hanging chad' in the Obadiah Stane story," she shared. Who Is Joe McGillicuddy ? A Spoiler Rises Early episodes reveal Ehrenreich's character under the name Joe McGillicuddy, a name that Riri Williams finds suspicious.
