Aston Martin driver Lance Stroll voiced his displeasure with the current car in an explicit-loaded rant.
Stroll started the British Grand Prix in P17, but the rain and safety cars allowed the 26-year-old to work his way up the grid and score points.
He ran as high as third and looked on for a potential podium finish.
Sauber's Nico Hulkenberg ended up securing the last step on the podium.

Photo byStroll finished seventh, netting a nice haul of points for the driver, though his radio message after the race was extremely blunt:
"Yeah crazy is an understatement, I mean it's the worst piece of sh*t I've ever driven to be honest," he told his engineer.
The statement from Stroll isn't rare - he is known for losing his temper.
According to ESPN, the Canadian driver damaged multiple items in the team's garage after being eliminated in qualifying for the Spanish Grand Prix.
He ended up not racing in Spain due to a hand injury, which potentially resulted from his frustration.
Ahead of the Austrian Grand Prix, Stroll was notably upset about how his season went.
"So I think there's, there's definitely, you know, just been like some cr*p going on and just not kind of putting it together," he said.
In the same press conference, the long-time F1 driver hit back at critics who believe that he doesn't even want to race in the sport.
"I think Formula 1 is a business with very short-minded opinions," he added.
"And if you have two good races, you're the best driver in the world. And if you have two bad ones, you're not good enough. You shouldn't be here anymore and you're s**t.
"So I think you know that's the business. That's how it's always been. It's how it always will be.
"I think you know when you have a crap day. You don't enjoy having a crap day. If you have a good day, you enjoy having a good day. So I think that's just how it is."
This season, Stroll has scored 20 points at the halfway mark of the season. He scored those points in three out of the first 12 races.
Aside from those impressive finishes, he typically does not fight for points and is often stuck at the back of the grid.
Stroll will hope for a more comfortable time behind the wheel of the Aston Martin in the second half of the season.

Pro-Palestinian demonstrator arrested at Tour de France

A protestor wearing a t-shirt reading "Israel out of the Tour" was arrested on Wednesday after running onto the final straight of the Tour de France 11th stage. The protestor, who was also holding a Palestinian keffiyeh scarf, got past security barriers and ran towards the finish line in Toulouse as Norway's Jonas Abrahamsen won a sprint finale. The man was intercepted by a race staff member and arrested, the local prefecture said. Several police officers have been assigned to protecting the Israel-Premier Tech team during the Tour. The team was set up by Israeli-Canadian billionaire Sylvan Adams, but there are no Israeli riders in this year's race. With the Gaza war causing international controversy, last year the team said it had asked its riders not to wear jerseys with any reference to Israel while out training as a precaution. The Gaza war sparked by Hamas's attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, which resulted in the deaths of 1,219 people, most of them civilians, according to an AFP tally based on official figures. Israel's retaliatory campaign in Gaza has killed 58,573 Palestinians, mostly civilians, according to the health ministry in the Hamas-run territory. bur-dmc/chv/mw/tw

Max Verstappen Backs Sergio Perez For F1 Return With Cadillac

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen has backed his former teammate Sergio Perez for a Formula One return with the Cadillac F1 team. The sport's eleventh team is looking for drivers to fill both seats, and Perez is one of the names being linked to the American outfit. Cadillac received its final approval to join the F1 grid early this year, and since then, the team has been gearing up for its grand premier class racing debut in 2026. As the car takes shape along with technical and managerial advancements in the organization, the team is in talks with experienced F1 drivers. Perez is among many drivers being linked to Cadillac, and the probability of his F1 return next year is quite high. The Mexican driver has raced for teams like Sauber, Racing Point, McLaren, and Red Bull since his F1 debut in 2011, holding a significant experience of 281 race starts. When Verstappen was asked if Perez was a good option for Cadillac, he said: "I think so. I think Checo has always been very strong. He's had a few difficult moments with us, but on the other hand, it's clear that's often the case with us." Max Verstappen of the Netherlands and Oracle Red Bull Racing and Sergio Perez of Mexico and Oracle Red Bull Racing walk in the Paddock prior to the Sprint ahead of the F1 Grand Prix of Qatar at Lusail International Circuit on November 30, 2024 in Lusail City, Qatar. MoreLooking back at Perez's experience with Red Bull and Racing Point, Verstappen added: "I always got along very well with Checo. As long as he is motivated to drive, then I think that is absolutely, even with such a new team, a good choice. "Because if you look at how Checo drove at Force India, Racing Point or whatever you called it, he always picked up the points anyway." Perez has revealed his interest in returning to the world of F1, but he has set a condition that needs to be fulfilled. He said: "The answer is yes, I do want to return, but only if the right project comes along, one where I feel I truly belong or should be. "I don't want to come back at any cost. I'm not interested in traveling around the world as a third driver or just waiting around for an opportunity. "I feel fortunate for the career I've had, and I do want to come back - because I don't want my career to end like this. "But I'm also fully aware that I'll only return if it's truly worth the price you have to pay to be in Formula 1 - 24 races, and an entire life dedicated to the sport." He added: "Yes, I believe it 100 per cent. If you look at my years with Force India, and then later with Red Bull - pushing the team forward race by race, and eventually becoming a winning team - that's exactly the kind of environment I'm looking for. "A team with that mentality, that unity. For me, that's more important than any trophy or achievement: finding a project where the driver feels truly motivated."

Red Bull to Part Ways With Yuki Tsunoda After 2025 Season: Report

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. The Red Bull Racing Formula One team will part ways with Yuki Tsunoda after the 2025 season. A report by GPBlog suggests that Red Bull will not extend Tsunoda's contract, which is said to expire at the end of the current year. The Japanese driver was promoted from Red Bull's junior F1 team, Racing Bulls, after the first two rounds of the 2025 season. Red Bull assessed Liam Lawson's performance in the first two rounds before demoting him to Racing Bulls. The report about Tsunoda's ousting arrives amid rumors of Max Verstappen's potential move to Mercedes, which gained traction after George Russell admitted that his contract extension discussions were on hold due to Mercedes' ongoing talks with the four-time world champion. Tsunoda's performance at Red Bull has considerably dropped, given that the RB21 F1 car is reportedly suited to Verstappen. He has been able to score ten points thus far as opposed to the Dutch driver's tally of 165 points. Yuki Tsunoda of Japan and Oracle Red Bull Racing walks in the paddock during qualifying ahead of the F1 Grand Prix of Great Britain at Silverstone Circuit on July 5, 2025 in Northampton, United Kingdom. Yuki Tsunoda of Japan and Oracle Red Bull Racing walks in the paddock during qualifying ahead of the F1 Grand Prix of Great Britain at Silverstone Circuit on July 5, 2025 in Northampton, United also struggled with Red Bull's title challenger in the first two Grands Prix. Not to forget Sergio Perez, who faced major challenges while piloting the RB20 last year, which eventually led to his exit after the 2024 season. Will Tsunoda endure a similar fate? The report affirms that Red Bull's experiment with Tsunoda is set to end after the current season. Furthermore, there remains a possibility of him moving to Aston Martin in 2026 due to Honda's influence, given that the Japanese engine supplier will partner with the Silverstone outfit from next year. However, the chances of him joining as a reserve driver are higher due to the lack of an available seat, but Tsunoda is less likely to accept a role that keeps him on the sidelines. Former Red Bull team principal Christian Horner was ousted by Red Bull last week, and Sky Sports F1's Karun Chandhok believes Horner led a one-car team so far, handing excessive power to Verstappen, while the other drivers struggled for performance. Chandhok believes this contributed significantly to Horner's exit. He said: "I think in some of what's happened, if you look at it in recent years, it's become a one-car team, right? We've talked about how since Daniel Ricciardo left, the way the car design has gone, the way the team has been structured, it's very much all the eggs in the Max Verstappen camp and in that basket. "And ultimately that's kind of created his downfall. It's put a disproportionate amount of power into 'Team Verstappen' to the point of which where, if you're the wider Red Bull group, you look at it and go, 'hang on a second, yes Max is on pole of the British Grand Prix, yes he's won two races this year, but the other cars nowhere.'"
