David Beckham's children celebrate his Knighthood but Brooklyn's response speaks volumes
David Beckham's children have shared sweet public posts online - however, Brooklyn has decided against it.
David Beckham's children have congratulated their father after he finally received his knighthood and became Sir David. However, eldest son Brooklyn Beckham's silence on the huge milestone has spoken volumes compared to his siblings.
The football star, 50, has been after the accolade for sport and charity work for years. Now, his dreams have finally come true as he has been made a Sir and his wife is now Lady Victoria Beckham.
Back in 2013, it was thought that his chances of Knighthood were dashed when explosive emails were leaked where he reportedly slammed the Honours Committee for not including him on the list, referring to them as "unappreciative c***s."
However, time went on luckily for David, and King Charles even dropped a hint last month when they were pictured together at the Chelsea Flower Show.
Charles asked him: 'You got it, didn't you?' Before David replied: 'It was incredible, thank you. It was very kind.' David, who is a proud dad to sons Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and daughter Harper, has been celebrated by his family as his achievement has become reality.
David's Knighthood is welcome news for the Beckham family as they have been embroiled in a family feud with eldest son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz. Things were apparently tense between the family when Brooklyn and Nicola didn't attend David's 50th birthday celebrations as the drama has reportedly resulted in the couple cutting contact with the entire family.
Despite the ongoing feud, David's children have come together to show their support. Cruz and Romeo have both shared gushing tributes on their social media pages. Romeo Beckham shared a sweet post for his dad on Instagram, shortly after the news was released on Friday night.
David and Victoria's second eldest son posted a photo of himself and his dad at David's 50th birthday celebration. The snap showed a smiling Romeo looking lovingly at his dad as David pulls a face at the camera.
"So so proud of you," Romeo gushed as he added four white heart emojis to the post. Meanwhile, David's son Cruz, 20, also shared a tribute to his dad's achievement.
Cruz posted a picture of his beloved dad smiling during their trip to Scotland and wrote: "I'm so proud dad I love you" before he added: "Sir David Beckham Has a nice ring to it".
Romeo, 22, shared a sweet four-word tribute to his dad on Instagram this morning alongside a black and white image with him. The message read: "So proud of you" which David later shared to his stories.
However, Brooklyn, who reportedly wasn't told about the accolade, has stayed silent about his dad's knighthood online – posting normally with no mention of his dad's Knighthood.
The silence speaks volumes as the budding chef shared three packets of pretzel pita chips on his Instagram story following the news that David was being made a Sir by His Majesty.
Doubling down on the refusal to post a tribute, Brooklyn shared a later snap on his Instagram story as he captured an image of a tin of caviar alongside a bottle of his brand, Cloud 23, hot sauce along with a bottle of wine and two drinking glasses.

Inside celebrity holiday hotspot that's a favourite of Dua Lipa and Chloe Sims
Celebrities definitely know how to party but now a new destination is proving more popular than Ibiza. Famous stars like Dua Lipa and Chloe Sims from The Only Way is Essex have all holidayed there and it's less pricey too While Ibiza in Spain is still the top celebrity vacation spot, leading in both celebrity visits and 20million Instagram tags, it's not the only party destination attracting the 'in crowd'. A recent study by Otherworld has identified the top celebrity-approved holiday spots of 2025 based on confirmed celebrity sightings from 2023 to 2025. These destinations were ranked using Instagram hashtag counts, Google searches, number of fine dining venues, and average cost per night at a 5-star hotel. And while the Dominican Republic came in second, you may be surprised by which destination slipped into third. Tulum in Mexico has a spectacular coastline, overlooks the Caribbean Sea and has welcomed famous holidaymakers including Lottie Moss and Austin Butler to name just a few. It's slightly more popular on Instagram than the Dominican Republic, with 9.4 million tags. But what really sets it apart is the cost, at $251 per night - or £186 - for a five-star hotel, making it the most budget-friendly luxury spot on this list. However, some visitors warn this magical paradise is losing its appeal because it's becoming overrun with tourists. Tulum attracts close to two million visitors every year - a number expected to rise sharply following the opening of Tulum International Airport. Travel experts over at Lonely Planet still hail the destination for its 'cobalt water', stunning beaches, and close proximity to ancient Mayan ruins as well as the underground world of cenotes. Often dubbed 'the new Dubai' by the flock of influencers flying out there to impress their fans. You can fly to Tulum, Mexico from London, Manchester and Birmingham - with most routes including a stopover in New York. A spokesperson from Otherworld commented on the study: 'Some places attract stars because they're remote and private, others because they're easy to post about. What's interesting is how much that mix varies. "You've got destinations where everything's built around luxury, and others where it's about vibe and visibility. That difference is shaping how people, celebrity or not, think about where they want to go next.' Meanwhile, Ibiza, Spain is one of the top celebrity-approved vacation spots of 2025, with stars like Leonardo DiCaprio and Kendall Jenner spotted there in the last two years. The spot has over 20million Instagram tags, and offers the most fine dining options (136). Five-star hotels average $695 a night, which is less than many other luxury destinations. The Dominican Republic stands out for its number of luxury stays, with over 3,200 resorts and villas, more than any other place here. It may not be as Instagram-famous as Ibiza, but it still pulls strong celebrity interest, including Jennifer Lopez and Shakira. At $359 per night, it also offers some of the lowest five-star rates.

Ioan Gruffudd announces he's expecting first child with his wife Bianca - two months after tying the knot
and his wife Bianca have announced they're expecting to welcome their first child together. The Fantastic Four actor, 51, and Aussie actress Bianca, 32, shared the exciting news to Instagram on Sunday morning. The couple posted a sweet black and white photo of Ioan kissing his wife's growing baby bump. 'Baby Gruffudd poppin' out to say hello!' the caption read. The post was inundated with well wishes from their friends and fans, with one person writing: 'Over the moon with excitement Mr & Mrs Gruffudd.' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'Wow!! The best news! What a lucky baby, with two caring thoughtful loving parents. Made my day!!!' another wrote. A third said: 'This is everything that everyone follows you guys hoped for! Wishing you love, happiness and the best wishes! You will have the most beautiful child.' In April, Ioan and Bianca took to their respective Instagrams to share a video of them tying the knot in a romantic ceremony, captioning their posts: 'Mr & Mrs Gruffudd. Marriage now, wedding later.' Set to Martin Arteta's track Past Lives, the video shows the pair saying their vows in front of an idyllic backdrop with a stunning sea view. The pair, who went public with their relationship in October 2021, looked happier than ever. Their happy moment comes following Ioan's messy split with Alice Evans. Ioan and Alice Evans formally divorced in July 2023. However, they are still battling fiercely over spousal support and custody and financial support for their two daughters Ella, 15, and Elsie, 11. At the September 9 court hearing, Judge Josh Freeman Stinn signed off on a stipulated agreement in which Ioan pays $3,000 a month temporary child support and $1,500 a month temporary spousal support until another February 13 hearing where a more permanent support arrangement was to be forged. Ioan planned to call his then fiancée Bianca as a witness at the February hearing to testify that his ex wife 'stalked, harassed and abused' her, repeatedly violating a three-year domestic violence restraining order (DVRO) which she and Ioan took out in August 2022, after enduring a 'smear campaign' of hateful text messages, emails and social media posts from her. Ioan claims that Alice 'engaged in a pattern of damaging and defamatory conduct against me, aimed at intimidating and harassing me and my fiancé, Bianca Wallace, while alienating our two young children from me.' Ioan – whose latest movie, Bad Boys: Ride or Die has grossed more than $403 million worldwide – has fought Evans' demands for more money, claiming he's paid some $400,000 more in spousal support that he needed to under their pre-marital agreement. In earlier court papers, he called her claims of poverty 'exaggerated' and said it's a 'false narrative' that she and the children have been left destitute. The former couple met on the set of the movie 102 Dalmatians more than 20 years ago. They fell in love in real life and were married in Mexico in 2007. Ioan filed for divorce in March 2021, shortly after Alice announced on social media that her husband of 14 years was walking out on her and their two daughters. Meanwhile, in February this year, Alice revealed she's being evicted from her LA home after being 'unable to pay her rent'. The actress wrote on Instagram that she and her daughters have 'no way of renting even the cheapest room in the city' after being beset by financial woes amid her bitter court battle with ex-husband Ioan. Sharing a sweet throwback snap with her two daughters, Alice shared that she is like many others in Los Angeles trying to find a new place to live after the city was devastated by fires in January. Alice was thought to be renting a home in California with her two children after her bitter divorce from Ioan. Earlier this month, she created her own Divorce fundraiser, setting up a GoFundMe which has so far raised $18,828, but admitted she was 'so embarrassed' to have to do so. But in a positive update recently shared on Instagram, Alice revealed that she, her daughters and her dog Emma now have a 'roof over their heads' and had retained their possessions after worrying she would lose them as she thanked fans for donating.
