Honor Magic V4 camera leak hints at another benchmark-setting foldable
As revealed by Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Honor Magic V4 might come with an impressive set of specs, but let's dig into the camera stuff first. The leaker teases that the phone will sport a 50MP 1/1.5″ primary sensor paired up with a 200MP periscope telephoto camera. That periscope camera will feature a 1/1.4″ type sensor and impressive 3x optical zoom.
Such a camera in a foldable would let the Honor Magic V4 lead the charge among other foldables, including the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, which only sports a 10MP telephoto lens. The Oppo Find N5 would be left in the dust, too, as it has a 50MP periscope telephoto camera.
The Honor Magic V3 was the thinnest foldable in the world upon launch, but the Oppo Find N5 stole that crown shortly after. However, despite the impressive camera setup, the new V4 might be even thinner, with the leaker claiming that it'll measure less than 9mm when folded. For comparison's sake, the V3 measured 9.2mm when folded. The above picture does a good job of illustrating just how thin the V3 was compared to some of its competitors.
Aside from the size and the camera, the Honor Magic V4 is said to offer an 8-inch 2K 120Hz inner display paired with a 6.45″ 120Hz outer screen. Rumor has it that the new phone will run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite system-on-a-chip (SoC).
Those specs sound exciting, implying that the foldable phone arena is about to start heating up. The Honor Magic V4 should make its debut this summer, with leakers pinning June as the likely release window.

Android flagships have long moved to higher storage options, with many offering as much as 1TB of storage. While external storage through microSD card expansion would have been a nice option, going with higher (and significantly faster) internal storage isn't a bad idea either. However, occasionally, we'd see phones shamelessly come out with 128GB storage, which is unfortunately too little for most needs these days. We might finally be moving on from 128GB storage on flagships, though, as Apple also seems to be moving ahead with a 256GB base option for the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro. Leaker Instant Digital shared on Weibo that the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro will start at 256GB, finally ditching the 128GB option for Apple's top-tier flagship lineup. The leaker quoted another leaker who mentioned that the iPhone 17 Pro will also be $50 more expensive than its predecessor, which isn't unexpected if there is a storage bump to accompany it. Apple has been said to explore raising prices for the upcoming iPhone 17 series, primarily to absorb the impact of rising costs and tariffs. A $50 price increase sounds about right, but keep in mind that if the company is switching to a higher storage, the starting price of the iPhone 17 Pro (256GB) could very well be $1,149. The silver lining here is that with Apple moving on from 128GB storage, Android flagships will also quickly abandon it. As mentioned, many of the top lineups have already ditched the lower storage option, but we have some holdouts, such as the Galaxy S25, which still starts with 128GB storage. Even the upcoming Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro are expected to start at 128GB of storage, which many feel does not justify the leaked price. At least we can now look forward to the Galaxy S26 and the Pixel 11 Pro to start with 256GB storage. Apple doesn't seem to be completely abandoning 128GB storage, though. The base iPhone 17 and possibly the iPhone 17 Air could still ship with 128GB storage, which remains unacceptable for their presumed price point. The ripple effect of this would be that we'd still continue to see 128GB storage on Android mid-rangers and budget options, which is understandable for that price point. Tesla is giving a sneak peek at its newest electric vehicle, which is due to hit the market in the fall. According to Teslarati, Tesla announced the new Model Y L on its Weibo page in China. The images show the Y is stylized on the vehicle. The China Ministry of Industry and Information Technology listing indicates the car will be bigger than the latest Model Y EV. The newest Model Y is "4,797 mm long, 1,920 mm wide, and 1,624 mm high, with a wheelbase of 2,890 mm," per Teslarati. That's compared to the Model Y L, which is 4,976 mm long, 1,920 mm wide, 1,668 mm high, and has a wheelbase of 3,040 mm. The bigger car also allows for six seats. The Model Y L comes equipped with a dual motor and "peak power outputs of 142 kW and 198 kW for the front and rear motors," per the publication. The batteries are listed as being supplied by LG Energy Solution. No price has been released, but it's expected to cost about 400,000 yuan ($55,764). It is also unknown if the U.S. and German gigafactories will produce the vehicle. The announcement of a new Tesla model comes amid a tough year for the electric vehicle company. OnePlus 15 might use the iPhone camera array for design inspiration
What's happened? A fresh OnePlus 15 rumor suggests the firm's next flagship smartphone could arrive with a dramatically different design to its predecessor. According to reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, OnePlus could ditch the sizable circular camera block which has dominated its recent handsets, including the OnePlus 13, OnePlus 13R, OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 11. The translated post says 'the Deco design of the new SM8850 phone is not a big circle. The engineering unit I have touched so far has a small square matrix in the upper left corner.'
