Poco M7 Plus introduced with 7,000 mAh battery
The Poco M7 Plus houses a massive 7,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for 33W charging and 18W reverse charging. Poco's new M series phone features a 6.9-inch Full HD+ LCD that refreshes at 144Hz. It has 550 nits of peak brightness, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The display features a punch-hole cutout for the 8 MP front camera.
The M7 Plus is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC, paired with up to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB storage. Thankfully, the phone gets a microSD slot for storage expansion up to 2TB.
It has a dual rear camera setup with a 50 MP primary sensor and an unknown secondary unit. You do get a couple of AI features such as AI Dynamic Shot, AI Eraser, and AI Sky replacement. The phone runs Android 15-based Hyper OS and is promised to receive two years of OS updates with four years of security patches. Poco is also offering Google Gemini on the device.
The Poco M7 Plus 5G offers an IP64 rating, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, an IR blaster, and weighs 217g. It is available for purchase in India in Aqua Blue, Carbon Black, and Chrome Silver colors. Prices start at INR 13,999 ($160) for the 6 GB/128 GB model, while the 8 GB/128 GB variant costs INR 14,999 ($170). The phone will go on sale in India starting August 19.

Infinix Hot 60i 5G arrives with the Dimensity 6400 SoC and 6,000 mAh battery
Sagar, 16 August 2025 Infinix launched the Hot 60i 4G in July, and as promised, the brand today introduced the 5G model. The Infinix Hot 60i 5G is powered by the Dimensity 6400 SoC, runs Android 15-based XOS 15.1, and has 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage onboard, which is expandable by up to 2TB via a microSD card. The Infinix Hot 60i 5G features a 6.75" 120Hz HD+ LCD on the front with 670 nits of peak brightness; however, it has a notch for the selfie camera instead of the punch hole we have on the Hot 60i 4G's screen. The selfie camera's resolution has also been downgraded from 8MP to 5MP. Around the back is a dual camera setup, headlined by a 50MP camera. Infinix didn't mention what the second camera does, but it's probably an auxiliary unit. But for what it's worth, you get 10W of reverse wired charging. The rest of the Infinix Hot 60i 5G's highlights include Infinix AI, a dedicated microSD card slot, an IP64 rating, an IR blaster, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Infinix Hot 60i 5G's color options The Infinix Hot 60i 5G comes in Shadow Blue, Sleek Black, Monsoon Green, and Plum Red colors. Oppo Find X9 Ultra could have the same main camera sensor as the Galaxy S26 Ultra
Vlad, 16 August 2025 The upcoming Oppo Find X9 Ultra has already been rumored to sport a new 200 MP main camera, and today prolific Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station has shed light on which sensor it will use. It turns out it's the one that Sony is developing - with 200 MP resolution and a 1/1.1" type size. That's not quite 1-inch type, but pretty close. Oppo Find X8 Ultra Intriguingly, Samsung has been rumored to have chosen this exact sensor to use in the Galaxy S26 Ultra's main camera. If all of these rumors pan out, we'll have an interesting situation next year when both the Galaxy S26 Ultra and the Find X9 Ultra arrive, as they will compete against each other while using the same main camera sensor. Well, in theory at least - if the Find X9 Ultra isn't officially sold outside of China (and that's definitely not outside the realm of possibility), then given Samsung's minuscule market share in China, the two won't really compete head-to-head anywhere. Anyway, the Find X9 Ultra will launch after the Chinese New Year (which falls on February 17). DCS says it might arrive a little bit sooner than its predecessor, which was unveiled on April 10, so if we were to bet we'd go with an unveiling sometime in March. Source (in Chinese)
