Is Drake at the Super Bowl? What to know as Kendrick Lamar performs halftime show
Kendrick Lamar is set to perform during the Super Bowl halftime show exactly one week after winning multiple Grammys for "Not Like Us," a diss track directed at the "Hotline Bling" rapper.
But while Drake may or may not be tuning into the game from wherever he is, he is not expected to be present in New Orleans. The rapper kicked off his Anita Max Win Tour on Tuesday and is scheduled to perform on Sunday in Melbourne, Australia. He also has shows in Melbourne on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Lamar will be taking the stage during the halftime show alongside special guest SZA, who also happens to be Drake's ex-girlfriend.
Kendrick Lamar and Drake rap beef: What makes this music feud so significant?
Last year, Lamar and Drake faced off via a series of back-and-forth diss tracks, each hurling increasingly inflammatory accusations and insults at one another. It all led up to "Not Like Us," in which Lamar continued to brutally tear into Drake and rapped, in reference to Drake's album "Certified Lover Boy," "Certified Lover Boy? Certified pedophiles."
Drake and Kendrick Lamar's diss songs, including 'Not Like Us' and 'Part 6'
In January, Drake filed a federal lawsuit against Universal Music Group, "the music company that decided to publish, promote, exploit, and monetize" the song. The lawsuit claimed UMG "intentionally sought to turn Drake into a pariah, a target for harassment, or worse."
UMG denied the accusations, saying to USA TODAY, "Not only are these claims untrue, but the notion that we would seek to harm the reputation of any artist — let alone Drake — is illogical."
"Not Like Us" was a huge hit for Lamar, winning both record of the year and song of the year at the 2025 Grammys. Lamar did not mention Drake in either of his Grammys acceptance speeches, but fans thought his outfit choice may have been a sneaky reference to him.
The Pulitzer Prize-winner wore denim-on-denim, often called a Canadian tuxedo, a potential dig at Drake, who is Canadian.
While performing recently in Australia, Drake told fans, in a possible allusion to the fallout from his feud with Lamar, that he is still "very much alive."

Chile returns $125,000 in luxury watches stolen from Keanu Reeves by South America-based crime ring
Chilean authorities said Tuesday they turned six valuable watches stolen from Canadian actor Keanu Reeves — including an engraved Rolex worth at least $9,500 — over to the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation, months after recovering them in a police raid. The FBI will arrange for their return to Reeves, best known for his roles in action franchises like 'The Matrix' and 'John Wick.' Chilean prosecutors told reporters that Reeves had identified the watches as those stolen from his Los Angeles home during a string of high-profile burglaries in December 2023. 4 The FBI will arrange for their return to Reeves, best known for his roles in action franchises like 'The Matrix' and 'John Wick.' Noem was also the victim of a robbery attributed to a Chilean national residing illegally in the U.S., when her purse was stolen last April at a Washington restaurant. 4 Chilean prosecutors told reporters that Reeves had identified the watches as those stolen from his Los Angeles home. A.J. Brown again admits that Super Bowl glory still feels hollow
A.J. Brown again makes it clear. Super Bowl glory just simply wasn't enough Remember when the Seattle Seahawks outlasted the San Francisco 49ers in the 2013 NFC Championship game? Remember when Erin Andrews put that microphone in Richard Sherman's face a few minutes later and he bellowed something about Michael Crabtree being a "sorry receiver"? Some people didn't know how to take that, Philadelphia Eagles fans included. Can we be honest here? Buckle up because here's some brutal honesty. No one should have been upset at Sherman for what he said. Statements like his are what you will sometimes get when you shove a mic in someone's face for his opinion, especially when you do so a few seconds after he spent three hours playing an emotional game that ended as his did. Is it possible that, had he been allowed to calm down, maybe he would have provided a calmer answer? No, this is Richard Sherman. Maybe he wouldn't have, but you get the point. At least you should have. This is what happens when one clamors for continual insider access. Sometimes, you're going to get something you didn't think you asked for. What does this have to do with A.J. Brown? Thank you for the question. We're glad you asked! A.J. Brown reiterates his lack of fulfillment after Super Bowl glory Access... It's a powerful tool, but you have to use it wisely. If you open a social media account, there will be trolls, especially if you use your handle to express your opinions about subjects people care about deeply. They say drunk men tell no lies. That's true, but the statement needs to be amended. Recently, A.J. Brown was interviewed by NFL Network's Judy Batista and Colleen Wolfe after a training camp practice, and while opening up, he restated something he had mentioned months earlier. It didn't take very long for him to revisit the desire to get on the field and compete again. To Batista's question about how much time he took to celebrate and enjoy Super Bowl glory, he offered the following: "(I turned the page) two or three days afterwards. I was so excited to win and to try to fulfill that fulfillment, and it wasn't fulfilling to be honest. Days like these (training camp practices) are fulfilling. It's the process. It's coming out and going to work with your brothers in 95-degree heat, you know, and just really just playing the game, you know? Obviously, we want to win, and we're doing it to win. But, it's a part of the process and the everyday journey. It's the hunt for me." Honestly, can you find fault in anything he said? Guess what? People did. A.J. Brown shared the same sentiment just days after Super Bowl 59 in a now-viral Instagram post. He was criticized. Frankly, we still can't understand why, but that takes us back to the earlier statement about Richard Sherman's famous outburst. If you thirst for behind-the-scenes access and spend your time following people you find interesting, you're sometimes going to discover more than you bargained for. That doesn't make these athletes bad people. It doesn't make them selfish or self-centered. It makes them human. Philadelphia's star wide receiver is a great guy with a great heart. We've never felt anything to the contrary. He wears his emotions on his sleeve, but again, that doesn't have any bearing on his character. Here is how you should handle that if his emotions are a problem for you. Stop following him on X and Instagram because if his emotions make you that angry, that isn't an A.J. Brown problem. Remember... It's social media. It's supposed to be fun. Write that on the tablet of your hearts, and you won't be so irritated. That's just some free advice. Use it wisely. Let's get back to some football.

Tom Brady Seemingly Jabs Ex-Wife Gisele Bündchen in Newsletter
In our good year 2025, the last thing we expected to find was a personal blog written by none other than pro athlete, Tom Brady. The seven-time Super Bowl champion penned a candid piece about parenting for his 199 newsletter—and seemingly threw shade at his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, in the process. In his installment published on Tuesday, July 29, Tom reflected on the highs and lows of professional football and how the sport made him a 'great parent' to his three children. He shares Benjamin and Vivian with Gisele, while his oldest son, Jack, is shared with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan. 'I think part of being a great father is being a great example of doing what it takes to take care of your family,' he wrote, in part. 'I chose to do it by playing football.' He added, 'My dedication to the sport, the hours of practice, the moments when I was laser focused—those were times when I believe I was doing the best possible thing for my family and my kids, by prioritizing my profession and teaching, by example, what it takes to be really good at your job, what it takes to follow through on commitments, what it takes to be a great teammate; and showing them, also by example, that work is a big part of all of our lives.' The former New England Patriots quarterback then seemingly made a dig at Gisele, explaining that 'reading bedtime stories and helping them with homework are not the only ways to be a great parent. And neither is winning Super Bowls or MVPs.' He continued, 'Being a great football player didn't make me a great dad, but how I became a great player certainly had an impact—from showing up day in and day out, to doing whatever it took to get better, be successful, be a role model, and to provide.' Tom and Gisele were married for 13 years before finalizing their divorce in October 2022. Earlier that same year, he retired for a total of 40 days before returning to the field for another season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2023 season. The former Victoria's Secret angel, who is now linked to Miami-based jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente, was reportedly disappointed in Tom's decision to reverse his retirement. She opened up about how it shifted their family dynamic during her September 2022 Elle cover story, saying, 'This is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present.' Gisele added that she 'definitely had those conversations with him over and over again,' saying, 'I've done my part, which is [to] be there for [my husband]. I moved to Boston, and I focused on creating a cocoon and a loving environment for my children to grow up in and to be there supporting him and his dreams.'
