SHOPPERS are racing to M&S to pick up their new summer beauty bag.
The bag comes with a collection of viral beauty products for you to try out at a fraction of the usual cost.

Nicky May, took to social media to share that she was lucky enough to get her hands on it.
She took a picture of the contents and the pink and orange travel bag they came in.
Nicky said: "£211 pounds worth for £35 in M&S."
The bag includes four full-size products and seven travel-sized ones.
Including in the bag is a mixture of cult-favourite buys like Color Wow's dreamcoat spray and the Dr Paw Paw skin & lip balm.
There's also new launches inside like REN's SPF 50 lotion that's the perfect size for hand luggage.
Also in the bag is the Arkive's good habit hair oil and a compact Tangle Teezer brush for brushing your hair on the go.
Offering a two-step bodycare routine, there's Bloom & Blossom's ultra-nourishing moisture body cream, as well as This Works' body smoothing wash.
You'll also find two Estée Lauder products in the beauty goody bag.
The double-wear mascara is full size and claims up to 15 hours of lash definition, while the brand's revitalising supreme moisturiser is packed with peptides for reducing fine lines.

To finish the bag, there are two travel-sized perfumes that are perfect to take on holiday.
Discover's M&S' sweet frangipani and Floral Street's electric rhubarb.
The bag's content is worth £210 but is currently on sale for just £35.
While the bag has previously been sold online, this year it is only available to buy in store because of the ongoing cyber attack.
Since the incident, the company has reportedly lost around £300 million, having paused online orders and purchases on apps until at least mid-July.

Bollywood-inspired ‘Christmas Carol' to feature anti-refugee Scrooge

A Bollywood-inspired adaptation of A Christmas Carol will feature a version of Ebenezer Scrooge who 'despises refugees', the director has revealed. The 'modern-day' musical, based on the Charles Dickens 1843 novella, will feature the titular character as a 'British-Indian' man named Sood. In her director's statement, Gurinder Chadha said: 'Our Scrooge, called Sood, is a rich British Indian who despises poor people and refugees in particular.' 'Sood has decided that immense wealth brings him status and standing, so to hell with the poor, unemployed and disenfranchised who didn't work as hard as him to get where he is.' Ms Chadha, who is well-known for Bend It Like Beckham and Bride & Prejudice, suggested the inspiration for her film came from well-known faces in British politics, saying: 'Sounds familiar to some of our current British Indian politicians?' The film, titled Christmas Karma and slated for release in November 2025, is described in a press release as a celebration of 'all of modern Britain's communities and cultures'. The London-set musical 'is very true to the original text and sentiment', according to Ms Chadha, and will teach audiences 'the urgent lesson of how prejudice, poverty and division in all its forms shapes Sood and our society today'. The British-Indian director added: 'A hundred and eighty-two years later, Dickens' novella still resonates globally in today's sometimes harsh world.' The novella is a tale of redemption which follows Scrooge as he meets a supernatural reckoning. Ms Chadha writes that it is the author's 'plea for a kinder, more tolerant Britain'. Playing the protagonist in the upcoming film is Kunal Nayyar, known for his role as Raj Koothrappali on the US sitcom The Big Bang Theory. He is joined by Boy George as the Ghost of Christmas Future, Eva Longoria as the Ghost of Christmas Past, Hugh Bonneville as the Ghost of Jacob Marley and Billy Porter as the Ghost of Christmas Present. EastEnders star Danny Dyer will also feature in the musical as a London cabbie. Ms Chadha described the film as her 'ode to Dickens' and Italian-American director Frank Capra – who made It's a Wonderful Life – but 'with a contemporary twist'. She said she was also inspired by one of her family members who was a Ugandan refugee. 'He came to Britain around Christmas time having lost his home in Uganda as a child and arriving to a hostile welcome as a refugee,' she said. 'For years he didn't feel Christmas was for him and the hardships he faced as a child left him despising it.' The film's soundtrack has been influenced by gospel, reimagined Christmas songs, Christmas carols, Bhangra, traditional music of Punjab, as well as rap and classic pop. Ms Chadha said that she hopes the audience will 'be invested to beg [Sood] to move on, transform, and be part of a society that doesn't allow Scrooges, twisted and shaped by prejudice to grow'. She added: 'It is an affectionate, hopeful, musical celebration of the Britain of today and the future for our kids.' It marks the latest in a series of controversial takes on the author's novels. In 2023, Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight adapted Dickens' 1861 novel Great Expectations into a six-part series for the BBC that featured mental health issues, prison breaks, toxic relationships, recreational drug use and self-harm. The limited historical drama series, which rates at a low 5.4 on IMDb, also featured an expletive-laden script and an ethnically diverse cast. Mr Knight also created a bold retelling of A Christmas Carol in 2019, which shocked period purists with its radical and horror-filled narrative. The BBC helmed another controversial adaptation of Dickens's work when it filmed Bleak House in the style of a television soap opera in 2005. Andrew Davies, who wrote the adaptations' 16 episodes, said at the time that he hoped to attract a younger audience to the classic tale by highlighting the novel's sexual themes and stripping away its Victorian 'sentimentality'.

Robert Burns family flute played again after 150 years

It's been on display in a family museum since the this rare boxwood flute hasn't been played in almost 200 last person to do so was likely its owner, James Glencairn Burns, son of Robert Burns, a talented musician and a passionate advocate for his father's thanks to a grant from the Pilgrim Trust and the Association of Independent Museums, the flute has been restored and is helping raise money for the wider restoration of Ellisland Museum and Farm near Dumfries. Ellisland was the home Burns built for his family, and where he composed over 130 poems and songs including Auld Lang Syne."It's the only instrument that we have in our collection, " says Joan McAlpine, director of the campaign to preserve the Ellisland site."It's a boxwood flute dating from the very early 19th century and we know it belonged to his son who was an accomplished flautist and often performed his father's songs.""So as part of the restoration we took a decision that we wanted it to be restored to a playable condition so that the music that Burns created at Ellisland and passed down to his son could be passed to audiences worldwide who we hope will help us save Ellisland." Restoration began two years ago as Edinburgh-based conservator Lydia Messerschmidt of Phoenix Conservation, with specialist repair work undertaken by early flute expert Robert Biglio of Dickson, curator at the Robert Burns Ellisland Trust said the restoration was complicated because the flute had been stored in the living room of a family home, which had still been in use until 2019."The previous curator lived in the house, as well as looking after the museum. It was exposed to the peat and timber which was burned in the fire so it needed to be thoroughly cleaned up."Flautist Claire Mann had the task of gently reawakening the instrument by playing it for short bursts of time in the "Spence", the room in Ellisland in which it had been stored, and where Burns composed many of his songs between 1788 and 1791. And then came the moment of truth when the flute was played for the first time in 150 years at a private performance in with vocalist Robyn Stapleton and harpist Wendy Stewart, she played a number of Burns works from the Ellisland songbook including Auld Lang Syne, Ye Banks and Braes, and John Anderson, My Jo, all written at the farm which Burns described as "sweet poetic ground"."I mean, with any old instrument you think to yourself, who played this and what kind of music did they play?" says Claire."So for it to be associated with Burns and his family is really he played the melody of old Lang Syne on the flute so I guess to play an instrument in his footsteps is very special." Claire is the only musician with permission to play the historic instrument and the plan is to take the flute on tour as part of a wider fundraising campaign called Saving The Home of Auld Lang Syne which will be launched later this year. It already has support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, South of Scotland Enterprise, Museums Galleries Scotland and the Holywood Trust and has a further seven million pounds to raise."When he lived at Ellisland, Burns focused especially on song, collecting and composing for the Scots Musical Museum," says curator Adam Dickson."Our goal is to make Ellisland a creative hub once more while preserving the buildings, which are currently at risk."This is a very special artefact and to be able to hear it being played again, and playing the music that was created for it. It's a very special moment."
