Brandon Aiyuk's wife explains why WAGs are ‘in a panic' at the start of training camp
Rochelle Searight, who married Aiyuk in California in April, broke down why some NFL WAGs are 'freaking out' online about training camp starting this week.
'Why do all the wives and girlfriends [of NFL players] go into a frenzy when their men report for training camp? Why is everybody online complaining? Let me give y'all some of these details on training camp and why everybody's in a panic,' Searight said Wednesday in a TikTok video.

'This is my husband's sixth year in the NFL. Every single season has looked different in training camp. But one thing that will never change is the men are in camp for real. They have to report to work and they have to sleep in their hotel, they have a curfew, and if they leave, they get a huge fine. It's crazy.
'Training camp does last for multiple weeks and the women freak out because — so in my situation, I'm a mother. Now he has to abruptly leave, and [I'm] taking care of my rambunctious four-year-old by myself, who has never slept, and he is off the walls.'

Searight went on to explain that everyone's situation is different, and some wives and girlfriends deal with the long-distance and lack of job security.
' For some other people's situations, they're not based in the same city that the team plays… and they stay in the Bay just during the season,' Searight continued. 'The wives and girlfriends who are back home now have to get left and [their significant other] have to go report to work, go to camp. I get to see my husband every few days, they don't get to see their man at all for like weeks.'

'Another thing, minicamp is so intense. Some of the men are not guaranteed a spot yet, they are fighting for their spot on the team. So if they don't make this team and they end up on a different team, the family has to pack up and move. It's just a lot.
'Abrupt training camp change is no joke, so that's why you'll see all of the girlies going crazy online and then social media is a fun way to just distract from that time. So no, our men aren't our whole personality people. It just gives us a fun thing to look forward to. It's just content.'
Searight captioned her post, 'After 'Love Island' comes NFL Wag season. Beware y'all, we're back. Try not to cringe.'
She works in the beauty industry and is a digital content creator with more than 257,000 followers on TikTok.

The couple has been together since at least November 2018, when she was 19 and Aiyuk played college football at Arizona State.
Aiyuk and Searight share a son, Braylon, who was born in September 2020, according to her Instagram.
Aiyuk and the 49ers agreed to terms on a four-year, $120 million extension with $76 million in guarantees last August following contentious negotiations.
San Francisco selected Aiyuk in the first round (No. 25 overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft.
The 49ers open the 2025 campaign against the Seahawks on Sept. 7 in Seattle.

He caught just 67 passes, which was by far his lowest since joining the Eagles. The star wide receiver still cracked the 1,000-yard mark, but not by much. He reached the endzone for seven touchdowns. Former Panthers draft pick retires on Sunday
A hog molly has called it quits on his football career. As announced by the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday morning, offensive lineman Dennis Daley has been placed on the reserve/retired list. The soon-to-be 29-year-old played his first three NFL seasons with the Carolina Panthers. Daley, a Fort Lauderdale, Fla. native, was drafted by the Panthers in the sixth round of the 2019 draft. The University of South Carolina product went on to start nine games at left tackle as a rookie. The 2020 and 2021 campaigns saw Daley start in 12 of his 20 outings for Carolina. In addition to left tackle, where he recorded 924 total snaps as a Panther, he also lined up at left guard (336 snaps) and right guard (124). Carolina, in August of 2022, traded Daley and a 2024 seventh-round pick to the Tennessee Titans in exchange for a 2024 fifth-rounder. That fifth-round selection was eventually traded by the Panthers to the Indianapolis Colts in their move up for second-round running back Jonathon Brooks. Former star Alabama cornerback reportedly signs with NFL team
According to a report Saturday from NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, former Alabama Crimson Tide cornerback Levi Wallace is signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars as a free agent. Wallace, a seven-year NFL veteran, had yet to sign with a team this offseason, and was among the list of former Alabama players still remaining in free agency. The former Alabama cornerback most recently played with the Denver Broncos during the 2024 season, starting 2-of-13 games played. During that span, Wallace had 28 tackles, which was the lowest total of his career, along with two passes defensed. Over his seven previous seasons in the league, Wallace has compiled 333 career tackles with seven TFL and 12 interceptions across 96 career games, 72 of which he started. Undrafted out of Alabama back in 2018, Jacksonville will also be Wallace's fourth NFL team, joining the Buffalo Bills, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Broncos.
