Emmerdale, Coronation Street and EastEnders pulled from schedules next week
Multiple schedule changes are taking place next week for EastEnders, Emmerdale and Coronation Street.
We are now firmly in the beginning part of the Summer of Sport, which typically sees soaps removed from schedules to make way for sports matches, usually football.
Next week, both ITV soaps Coronation Street and Emmerdale will have their usual broadcasting dates and times changed, as well as BBC One's EastEnders.
Here's everything you need to know:
Coronation Street's schedule for the week commencing June 30 is as follows:
Monday, June 30 – 8-9pm.Wednesday, July 2 – 8-9pm.
Friday, July 4 – No episode.
The schedule for Emmerdale is:
Monday, June 30 – 7:30-8pm.Tuesday, July 1 – 7-8pm.Wednesday, July 2 – 7:30-8pm.Thursday – No episode.
Friday – No episode.
The schedule for EastEnders is:
Monday, June 30 – 7-7:30pm and then 7:30-8pm – Airing on BBC TwoTuesday, July 1 – 7-7:30pm and then 7:30-8pm – Airing on BBC TwoWednesday, July 2 – No episodeThursday – No episode
Friday – No episode as per usual
For BBC One, the channel will be airing coverage of Wimbledon and also a UEFA Women's Euro game.
EastEnders will air the same amount of episodes as normal, but they will be broadcasted on BBC Two, for one hour in total, across two days.
On Thursday, ITV will air coverage of the Spain V Portugal UEFA Women's Euro game while on Friday, the match taking place will focus on Germany V Poland.
In Coronation Street, Abi Webster (Sally Carman) feels torn between the Webster brothers, George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) grows concerned about Todd Grimshaw's (Gareth Pierce) relationship, while Gary Windass (Mikey North) remains missing.
In EastEnders, Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) heads back to Walford, while Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) makes a decision about her future at the Queen Vic. There's also trouble for Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig), as she receives huge news about Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean). More Trending
In Emmerdale, two new characters arrive in the form of Celia (Jaye Griffiths) and Ray (Joe Absolom).

Celia is involved in a storyline that will see Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) attacked by one of her dogs, while Ray heads to Butlers to talk to Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb), Ross Barton (Michael Parr) and Lewis (Bradley Riches) about the weed they've been growing in a barn.

The host of the UK's most brutal property makeover show has revealed her experience on the axed programme. Your Home In Their Hands first hit screens back in 2014 and lasted just one series on BBC One. The programme featured homeowners who gave amateur interior designers free reign to revamp their property. TV star and businesswoman Celia Sawyer presented the show and told MailOnline all about how she dealt with the highs, as well as the disappointed lows when the renovations didn't quite go to plan. From a flower wall in a hallway, to a cartoon style bedroom, Your Home In Their Hands saw a range of makeovers, but they weren't always well received by the homeowners. Several episodes saw the participants visibly upset, and some were very open in sharing their disappointment on air. However, Celia revealed to MailOnline that she received the brunt of the upset off camera, despite not being involved in the disastrous makeovers. 'I even had it myself where an owner would come back, where there was that interesting hallway, would come back and say to me, "do you like ruining people's homes?"' she said. 'And I thought, "well, I didn't." One, I didn't do it and and two, I would never have suggested somebody did.' The celebrity interior designer revealed that she had no say in the makeovers and wouldn't see the finished product until it was complete. She added: 'So when I walked in, I was as shocked as the homeowners, so unfortunately for me, I had to take it a bit from a couple of them who weren't very happy. 'But I think they forgot that actually I wasn't behind doing what they did, and I was given the brief by the clients, and then gave the brief to the amateur designers, and if they chose not to listen, because they'd already made up their minds, well, that's what they've done.' Celia admitted she tried to be 'compassionate' and did 'feel sorry' at times but added, 'if you volunteer, unfortunately, you're going to have to take that chance'. It wasn't just the homeowners who would get upset, some of the interior designers didn't handle the pressure well and Celia would end up comforting them too. 'I can't remember anyone's name now, but one lady was crying, and I said, 'You've got to pull yourself together, this isn't an easy job, you've come in, you've got to learn that it's tough, you know, and you've got to have some'. 'She was sort of going into the background, because the other designer was maybe a little bit stronger in personality and when they had to work together as a team, it was sort of dominated by somebody rather than both of them. 'So I did have to be quite stern about that, because the whole point was to bring in both parties together, not one to take over.' The glamorous TV presenter also admitted the designers 'didn't have have a lot of time' to pull off the makeovers and were expected to finish in 'a few days'. She recalled how they would 'work through quite late at night just to get everything done. It was almost like the minute I'd turned up, they'd just finished'. However, when things turned out drastically wrong producers would sometimes step in to put things right afterwards, according to Celia. Your Home In Their Hands did see some positive outcomes too, Celia recalled 'an older lady who loved her bedroom' but sadly passed away shortly afterwards. 'There were lovely stories throughout, I mean, sometimes it wasn't every room that they loved, but generally out of the two, three rooms, because they did a joint room, and obviously two separate rooms, the two designers, if you've got two out of three, then I think that was pretty good going,' she said. THE 1% Club wiped out 11 contestants on a tricky bird question - but could you have got it right? The popular ITV quiz hosted by Lee Mack is the "ultimate leveller" - testing logic and common sense rather than general knowledge. 3 3 100 players begin the game, but are eliminated round-by-round with increasingly hard questions. The available options were, in lower-case: a) fa cup, b) super bowl or c) olympic games. The hopefuls had just 30 seconds to input their answer, in the hope they'd answered correctly. Once time was up, it turned out the correct answer was b) super bowl. By combining the two words, you get "Superb Owl" - associated with "magnificent bird". In a different episode, seven players were wiped out instantly on an "easy" 90% question. The 90% is the very first question to be asked - and is generally the most straightforward. The 1% Club knocks out 8 players with 'easy' picture question Reading the question aloud, Lee said: "Which of the following words still makes a valid word if you change the first letter to the next letter in the alphabet?" Continuing, Lee then told the players of the three choices they had to pick from, which were - Page, Rage and Wage. With 30 seconds on the clock, the 100 players did their best to attempt to answer the question. However, for seven of them, they could not get to the right answer. The 1% Club's Most Difficult Questions The 1% Club sees 100 contestants try and make it to the 1% question and be in with a chance to win a share of the jackpot. Here are just some of the show's most difficult teasers. Players had to compare and contrast three images of butterflies then explain which of the butterflies were exactly the same on both sides. Find the image and answer here. Players were shown groups of six symbols then asked which were in the same order whether you read them from left to right or right to left. Peter had recently found his old diary that he'd written in secret code but he couldn't remember how to decipher what he wrote. Players were tasked with working out how many eyes they could see in an image, which was made up of letters, symbols and emojis. Find the image and the answer here. A 1% question was based on a grid of numbers going in ascending order from 1 to 49. Starting on 25, the middle square, SEEN took you to square 27. From there, NEW took you to 20. From there, which square would SEWN take you to? Find the image and the answer here. And finally, an easy one - What common food in bold has had its letters rearranged into alphabetical order? ABDER If you really don't know you can find the answer here. Lee then confirmed that the answer was in fact, Rage.
