Fayetteville's top girls basketball scorer tabbed with NCCA All-Star game honors
Thursday morning, the North Carolina Coaches Association released the 2025 East-West All-Star Girls Basketball Game rosters.
The annual all-star game will be held on July 21 at the Swarm Fieldhouse at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex, scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by the boys' all-star game.

Twenty players were selected for the East and West girls' basketball roster, and one Fayetteville player was graced with the opportunity to play in this year's game.

South View girls' basketball star Danauje Brooks has been selected as the lone Fayetteville girls' star.
Brooks, one of three 2,000-point scorers in the area, stood out in her senior season after transferring from E.E. Smith and helped the Tigers to their first regular-season title in nearly 10 years. The Kentucky State commit completed the year with a United 8 girls basketball Player of the Year award and finished second in points per game in the NCHSAA 4A East (26.6) and seventh in assists (3.9).

The 5-foot-4 scoring guard scored 719 points in her senior season at South View, setting the school record for most points scored in a season, surpassing the previous record by 96 points.
She also finished her career with 2,327 total points, a single-game record 51 points, and posted a single-game record with 11 made threes in a game.
